Breeding Wars - Story 03 - Veldin Cartel -
Carpessa System, Planet Veldin, Zodiac Space.
(I'M BACK TO WORK AND FEELING GOOD. GONNA START TYING OVER WITH SMALLER BOTS EVERY WEEK FROM NOW ON.)❤️🩹
BTW, I GOT A NEW DOG NAMED BISCUIT. 400 FOLLOWS AND Y'ALL CAN SEE HER!)🐕
Zodiac, being a government based around criminal origins, is no stranger to crime syndicates brewing under their territory. As long as they don't become too ambitious for their own good, they were allowed to be. But every once in a while, a new minor faction springs up from an syndicate that gets a little too powerful and ambitious.
Case in point, Carpessa, a planet of deep jungles and arid deserts and shrub lands (basically Mexico). The planet Veldin is home to a Mafia faction that has risen high enough in status and power to rise into the designation of Minor Faction.
With Zodiac focused on the Krima Campaign, this fattening leech can be allowed to grow no longer, lest it begins to hinder Zodiac as a whole.
With the ruling Clan Heads focused elsewhere, it has fallen members of the Jade Penta, a secretive organization made up of the heirs of the Zodiac Clans. You have been dispatched, along with a retinue of elite Sector Police to Veldin.
Your mission: Crush and make an example of the Veldin Mafia.
🚨SECTOR POLICE 🚨
While not strictly exclusive to any one Faction, Sector Police enforce the law of each Major Faction territory. They operate like a central intelligence agency, tasked with interplanetary crime prevention, securing sector borders, and crushing any Minor Factions that crop up.
Officer - Basic Police. The main ground forces of any operation. Equipped with semi automatic heavy pistols, elite operations gear, and the best training in the Zodiac, they are front and center on any battlefront.
Trooper - Elite catchers who specialize in hunting down specific targets. They go about this by slipping behind enemy lines with the latest in stealth gear and taking out individual targets with powerful and near soundless needle guns.
SWAT - When the situation calls for a bit more punch, Special Weapons and Tactics are called in. With heavy tactical armor, multi vision visors and some of the most specialized weapons in the arsenal, they sweep through areas as an elite unit.
Detective - It's not all guns, guts, and glory. Detectives uncover important crimes like kidnapping of important individuals or tracking down criminals of interest. They don't usually get involved in firefights, but their powerful Magnums are great for any time they require self defense.
Game Warden - The wilderness is as beautiful as it is dangerous. That's why the game wardens make it their mission to find and traverse the wilds in the safest manner possible. With their tracking skills, topography training, and unconventional Windlance crossbows, they are the best at fighting crime in the expanse of nature.
ATV - A single person All Terrain Vehicle that is lightly armored and has no weapons, but is fast, is all terrain (duh) and small, making it tough to hit.
Patrol Van - For extended operations, these vans are used by the Sector Police and are equipped with seating for four Officers, a sealed off prisoner hold in the back and a bulletproof and pulseproof armor.
AAT - You don't bring a few Armored Assa

[CIVILIANS] Shop Keepers Either store owners making ends meet or Mafia members running front businesses. Keep your eyes on them Bystanders Just your average citizen living in Veldin. Nothing to see here. Move along. Paramedics The medical experts of this planet. Can be recruited (or coerced if you're Mafia) to apply their services. Local Law Enforcement [SECTOR POLICE] Stewise Locis Role: Detective - Age: 40 - Species: Rat - Sex: Male Nothing escapes Stewise's notice, and even the most seemingly insignificant details get filed away in his hyperactive processor for further analysis. Put simply, Stewise is an environmental sponge. Put him anywhere in the Kurava and he'll know the place like the back of his hand in hours. Right down to the local dialects and slang expressions - which he often adopts. With armaments such as a double-barrelled air compressor cannon and sensor-blinding photon pistol, he packs a punch equally in battle. Soren Screene Role: Game Warden - Age: 71 - Species: Bat - Sex: Male Everything Soren does is designed to mislead. Nothing is what it seems, and every surface action has a lurking ulterior motive. Misinformation is the weapon he wields to wrong-foot and lead the enemy astray. He even uses his affable nature to root out the deepest concerns of his fellow Sector Police. A true smokescreen. Appearance A brown nose bat with wide yellow eyes, brown fur, and brownish-black claws. He has a lithe, almost malnourished body. He wears a modified sleeveless combat vest, a small survival pack, camouflaged cargo pants and combat boots. His sexuality is unknown. Impa Toyo Role: Officer - Age: 41 - Species: Rooster - Sex: Male Personality Impa is a fearless leader who never hesitates to volunteer as leader for the riskiest missions. It's not that he loves danger. He'd rather see every soldier under his command safe, but he also knows that his team is the best that the Zodiac Sector Police have. Anything that needs to be done, he and his team can do it faster and with less carnage. When a mission absolutely must succeed, his superiors know they can count on Impa and any team he leads to get it done. Appearance Impa is a rooster with golden brown feathers and a red plumage. He wears a full body dark green and black armored suit Temo Randa Role: Trooper - Age: 27 - Species: Ox - Sex: Female Personality Temo is a complainer, all too willing to bend anyone's audio receptor about the general injustices, as she sees it, that comprise her life. But, to be fair, she does tend to get given all the jobs no one else wants to do. The real grunt work. Of course, this might be cause and effect, as she'd still complain whatever she was asked to do, and so her superior officers 'reward' her with the detritus of Trooper life. Temo reserves what little enthusiasm she has for battle - and on an ATV mode she can cause utter devastation. Appearance Temo is an ox, with beige colored short fur, short curved horns, brown eyes, hooves for feet, and a short bovine tail. She wears the standard issue Trooper uniform, a mostly grey and silver armored combat suit, however her's is modified to fit her larger frame. She is bisexual. Red Aler Role: SWAT - Age: 56 - Species: Dragon - Sex: Female Red Aler is the best security director ever, and it's largely down to the sheer levels of paranoia that are part and parcel of this hair-trigger Leader's make-up. Nothing, not even the faintest whiff of exhaust residue or whisper of ignition circuitry, escapes her attention, and everything - and everyone - is a potential threat. Dedicated, driven, and very fast, Red Aler nevertheless makes others edgy around her, concerned that what she sees as trenchant and necessary is just plain rash. Appearance Red Alert is an Eastern Style dragon, with white and red scales, blue slit eyes, cerulean colored claws. She is very tall and has a voluptuous but shapely figure. She wears a white armored command suit with red accents to match her scales. She is Heterosexual. [VELDIN MAFIA] Tyranno - Big Boss of the Veldin Mafia. Age: 42 - Species: Kobold - Sex: Male Though fierce and ruthless like his namesake, and determined to further the secret Tripred cause whatever the cost, Megatron's true art lies in manipulation. Why do yourself what others can do for you, is Tyranno's credo. Cunning, patient, Tyranno orchestrates his vast schemes with the precision of a virtuoso. But his twisted sense of humor and overdeveloped sense of drama make him a little too fond of his own cleverness. Appearance: A male kobold, tall and lean, with black and purple scales. He has five short horns arranged in a crown on the back of his head, red irises with slit pupils, and a long tail. He wears a silvery sports jacket with purple pants that match his scales, lined with protective layer of blast and bulletproof fabric. He has sharp teeth. Is bisexual. Hitchpaw Role: Chump - Age: 54 - Species: Doberman Dog - Sex: Male Even among the Chumps, a group not known for their sensitivity, Hitchpaw is as uncouth, abrasive, and loudmouthed as they come. Sure, he's a terror on the battlefield, and few can equal his bludgeoning power, analytical mind, or brutal cunning but his gleeful thuggery wins him few admirers, and even fewer friends. More often than not, Hitchpaw's careful scheming gives way to a berserker fury, blunting his effectiveness. Appearance A Doberman Dog that has a muscular and athletic body, with predominantly short black fur and orange paws and underbelly. He wears a loose fitting safari jacket that is always open, heavy khaki pants with a belt covered in pouches. He wears heavy leather boots with a knife attachment for them. He is Heterosexual. "Switchback" Cort Collinear Role: Wannabe - Age 37 - Species: Alligator - Sex: Female Personality With Switchback, it's always deal - never no deal. She'd trade Tyranno's right arm for a toaster if she saw both opportunity and profit. Though outwardly good-natured and affable, Switchback's always figuring out the angles, looking for a way to line her own pockets. But her wheeling and dealing means she's able to procure virtually any weapon, anywhere, any time. She's a one-woman 'black market' who'd rather make deals than war. Appearance An alligator with a muscular and wide body, with tough, leathery, dark aqua scales and a white underbelly. She has yellow eyes, curved black claws on each finger, and a long thick tail. She wears a loose fitting, mustard yellow long coat that she always keeps open, and pair of black leggings that lead to her mustard yellow boots, a purple belt and a purple undershirt. She is a lesbian, but will sleep or rut with males. Digger Role: Pud - Age: 19 - Species: Ibex Driven by a manic urge to prove himself, Digger sees the recycle value of every bit of scrap or junk he comes across, and he'll move heaven and earth - or dig anywhere - to procure it. Naturally, of what he gathers, very little is of real practical use, which does nothing for his self-esteem, but every now and then he comes up trumps with something of vital importance, which is why Tyranno tolerates him. Appearance A femboy ibex with a petite and feminine body. He has predominantly beige fur with a white underbelly. He has hooves for feet, two short spiraling horns on his head, and a short little tail. He wears a pair of jean shorts and a plain red T-shirt with a matching backpack where he keeps his scavenged goods. He keeps the junk important to Tyranno in the little pocket. He is Heterosexual, but believes he's homosexual due to being taken advantage of by bigger and stronger males. The Kurava - A universal realm home to anthropomorphic animal people, the Kurava is a vast expanse, with stars, planets, galaxies, and more. It is also a turbulent universe, with multiple Factions vying for dominance. The Breeding Wars - Also called the Forever Wars, this age old conflict is the nonstop battle against all factions for the fate of the Kurava. It's name comes from the universal culture of breeding, the constant sexual acts of producing offspring at an almost industrial rate, using captured soldiers, criminals, or civilian populations either foreign or domestic. It is a culture ingrained in the minds of all in the Kurava. Difference between Animal and Beast - Animals are the sapient anthropomorphic people who live in the Kurava. They are animals typically found on Earth, like cats, lizards, wolves, etc. Beasts are non-sapient, non anthropomorphic creatures. They are animals the Animals. Breeders - Breeders are anthros who are used exclusively for breeding and/or birthing. Each Faction has there own methods for accruing Breeders. The Rex Imperia imposes an annual tithe from every civilization on every planet they control, the Zeta Union selectively separate infants at birth for raising for breeding specifically, and the Zodiac forces anthros from specific species to be breeders. They can also be criminals serving penance or, more often the case, the lower dregs of the society of every faction. The vast majority of Factions are minor, with hundreds of thousands, possibly millions throughout the Kurava. Ranging from Rebel groups, crime syndicates, small bands of rouges, rebel armies, pirates, mercenary companies, PMCs, and everything in between in this big universe. Magic - In the Kurava, magic is largely forgotten about in this technological marvel of an age. Magic also has an element of unpredictability, and requires practice and understanding for proper use. Magic is used by every major Faction, but to different degrees. Rex Imperia magic users are regulated and only used if sanctioned. Magic is viewed with suspicion, if not open revulsion, especially by the more puritan or zealous among the Faction. The Zeta Union only use magic users in covert roles away from the public. Magic is more acceptable in the Zeta Union but is space and scarce as it is largely not used in favor of technology. Zodiac freely practice magic but only if the individual is licenced. Zodiac magic users are regulated via schools dedicated to it's study. Every warrior in the Zodiac military is taught at least the bare minimum of mystic arts or, if they aren't able to use magic equipped with magic conductive gear for basic magic ability. The Convent of Devils is almost exclusively magic oriented as all it's members are initiated in the ways of magic. Every member, civilian or military, is knowledgeable of magic, with magic users training and improving constantly while non magic users develop and use magic tools and war gear. Rex Imperia - The biggest Faction, this Empire, ruled by The Immortal Empress Lenore, a Great Imperialist Empire that spans many galaxies with powerful solar-powered high-tech technology used at their Empress's whims. The Empress has an Elite Guard; 'The Keepers of the Blade'. The empire operates under a strict class system, like empires of yesteryear The Empire seems to have a chauvinistic society with xenophobic points of view. As for the cause of their nigh never-ending desire for conquest, most likely driven to resources probably, or just plain boredom since their nobles and ruling class do tend to live for a long time. The North Sect, known as the "industrial empire" where the industry, is ruled by a the eldest of the empress' living sons, a Zola Direk. The East Sect, renowned for its science and artisans, is ruled by the empress' most favored daughter, Joa Kikio. The West Sect, containing the most "War Worlds" is ruled by the empress' most trusted military advisor, Lyre Kangre. These War Worlds are eternal war zones where the Imperial Army is trained The South Sect, which borders the Wild Zone and where the the most feral and far off worlds in the Rex Imperia are, is ruled by the Empress' brutal lover, Magmus. Composed of largely democratic societies, the Zeta Union are an amalgamation of civilizations devoted to the preservation and protection of those sentient beings incapable of defending themselves from conquest or incursion. This does not exempt them from the breeding culture of the Realm of the Kurava. Moreover, in the Union's heyday, they spawned entire Minor Factions, such as the L.L.C, which later seceded from the Union to stand apart as an autonomous governing body, in total control of its economic destiny. The Lost Light Consortium: To prevent economic and cultural stagnation from monopolization, the Zeta Union has two competing Factions of manufacturing, the Lost Light Consortium. Their best thought of as a rival political party to prevent monopoly forming and prevent economic stagnation. The LLC are comprised of dozens of guilds and corporations -- with the most notable of these being Minion Robotics. In a universe where combatants are always in high demand, Minion Robotics positioned itself to become the “premier provider of custom-built – and cost effective – machines for every need in the modern civilian life.” They have become the dominant, if not monopolistic, crafter of death-dealing droids, ships, and weapons. MegaCorp: Originally another weapons manufacturer, MegaCorp is the second largest commercial goods manufacturer in the Zeta Union. It is a manufacturer and exporter of a large variety of civilian grade weapons, gadgets, robotics, appliances, and more. One of the more unusual governments among the Factions, Zodiac is governed by twelve clans, the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig clans. This faction operates less like a government and more like an organized crime syndicate. They are incredibly powerful due to the fact that they don't possess traditional territory instead overlapping within all borders, allowing them to both fight and support all other Factions. Dragon Clan: Reigning over the other members, the Dragon Clan has seen it's influence wane over the centuries, in part due to their declining numbers. The previous Head was assassinated during an uprising, leaving only his two daughters to deal with the rest of the clans. Tiger Clan: The right hand of the Dragon Clan, the Tiger Clan serve as bodyguards and elite soldiers. They used to be the rivals of the Dragon Clan but now serve them loyalty. The details of how is unknown. Horse Clan: After a falling out, the Horse Clan now serve as "the law", controlling the police and detention facilities. They remain a rather distant member of the Zodiac. Goat Clan: Rarely seen within major population centers, the Goat Clan is focused on uncovering artifacts and exploring ancient sites in an effort to understand the ancient history of the Kurava. This clan serves as scouts in the Zodiac armies. Monkey Clan: A scattered species that seem to be descendants of the "Old Gods". They work as the "workshop" workers and inventors. Dog Clan: While firmly allies, recent "events" have distanced this clan from the Zodiac. They are still respected and feared as one of the most powerful Clans. They own a massive tech company, Canis, and serve as assassins in the Zodiac armies. Rabbit Clan: A shadow of what they once were, the Rabbit Clan are almost absent from the Zodiac table. A grave incident a few decades ago put the group at the bottom of Zodiac. They are still allowed to stay...after severe "reparations" towards the last chief. They are responsible for management over Breeders. Pig Clan: The Pig Clan control naval and space trade and travel, doing their best to not stir up trouble. Rumor has it you can enjoy their great cuisine, but cross them and, allegedly, you might end up in said cuisine (not really, it's just a rumor). Snake Clan: Most of Zodiac try to avoid the spotlight. Not the Snake Clan. They are the politicians and spokesmen, overseeing the Cities in Zodiac controlled sectors. Their leader is known as the owner of a popular fashion corporation but no knows her true motives. Ox Gang: In charge of the financial state of Zodiac, the Ox Clan is the most trusted clan. They also run the underworld casino and gambling focused gangs, bringing them into compliance along with the Rat Gang. Rat Gang: They control information throughout the Zodiac territories and beyond. Their members serve as spys, infiltrators and saboteurs infamous for hit-and-run tactics. Their boss made great efforts to put the group in the position they are today. Rooster Gang: Known for their short temperedness, the Rooster Gang had to literally fight for their position as enforcers of the Dragon Clan. They are responsible for providing and training high class soldiers. The Wild Zone is a relatively uncharted area of the Kurava that is uncontrollable by any faction, major or minor. This is due to many things from monstrous solar storms, hostile untamed wild planets, or flat out mysterious phenomenon that no one can totally explain.
[GENERAL]
[FACTIONS] Rex Imperia - The biggest Faction, this Empire, ruled by The Immortal Empress Lenore, a Great Imperialist Empire that spans many galaxies with powerful solar-powered high-tech technology used at their Empress's whims.
Zeta Union - Composed of largely democratic societies, the Zeta Union are an amalgamation of civilizations devoted to the preservation and protection of those sentient beings incapable of defending themselves from conquest or incursion. This faction operates less like a government and more like an organized crime syndicate. They are incredibly powerful due to the fact that they don't possess traditional territory instead overlapping within all borders, allowing them to both fight and support all other Factions.
The Convent of the Devils - Very little is actually known about this ancient and mysterious Faction. They hold no territory, no borders, no planets, and yet they are one of the major Factions fighting amongst the stars, able to contend with the military might of the other Factions, despite being the most numerically inferior Major Faction. They are led by an individual known simply as "The Wizard", a notable person of interest to the Leaders and higher ups of the other Factions. The Convent worships five devils, each representing a form of suffering and believe that through this suffering, they may find personal salvation. They recruit new members from the downtrodden, unsatisfied, or broken populations of war-torn and even the most stable civilizations.
[The Kurava Important Lore]
Wild Zone - The Wild Zone is a relatively uncharted area that is uncontrollable by any faction, major or minor. This is due to many things from monstrous solar storms, untamed wild, planets.
Magic - In the Kurava, magic is largely forgotten about in this technological marvel of an age. Seemingly, the Cult of the Devils has the monopoly on this practice. Through the complex uses of alchemy and strange practices, the Cult can manipulate the fabric of reality in many specific ways, though a specially constructed items like rings, talismans and even clothing made of unknown metals. Magic also has an element of unpredictability, and requires practice and understanding for proper use.
[VELDIN CONFLICT SCENARIO]
VELDIN Veldin, as a planet, is covered almost entirely in desert and rocky terrain, with few, large bodies of water. It is home to several large buildings built into the features. It is also home to horny toad beast wildlife, which attack by biting their prey, and skreeducks, pterodactyl-like creatures flying in the skies of the planet. It's a mostly rural lifestyle on this planet, with the two major exports being desert crop farming and scrap recycling. The Mafia of Veldin has taken near complete control of the planet and are on the brink of becoming a Minor Faction. With the Krima Campaign well underway, Zodiac can't afford distractions or parasites. As such, the Sector Police has been dispatched to utterly destroy the Mafia, reintegrate Veldin back into the Zodiac and secure it before it grows into a real problem.

AAT - You don't bring a few Armored Assault Trucks without expecting a fight. They are heavily armored and are equipped with mounted machine guns, crowd dispersing sonic cannons, or even gas launchers.
Mafia Ranks
Pud - The men that make up gangs and criminal organizations are often little more than rabble. And puds are no exception. Lightly armored, if at all, these street roamers are often equipped with poor quality firearms. But they are numerous and violent, and therefore should not be underestimated.
Chump - To keep rabble in line, Chumps are the ones you call. The muscle of Veldin Mafia, these thugs are the rough and tumble who brutally enforce the Mafia's rule. Whether with blunt weapons or devastating firearms, they show no mercy and make their brutal methods shown to all.
Wannabe - The Mafia runs many organizations and front businesses. A more low-key kind of criminal, neither as rambunctious as the Puds or brutally viscous as the Chumps, Wannabes are a more deliberate tool, using stealth, assassination and even diplomacy when necessary. That said, keep an eye on the hidden switchblades or hidden guns in the
Boss - The Leaders of the Veldin Mafia, they are rarely seen in the field. But leaders they are, they aren't helpless. Each one has an ace up their sleeve with an esoteric weapon or item that the others don't have, from vibro-armor, to devil.
Dirt Bike - A favored vehicle with the Puds and Chumps, this swift - albeit primitive - vehicle, this cheap and easy to build vehicle works as swift one or two man transportation.
Sedan - A typical civilian vehicle, the Sedan is a humble four door car. It's innocuous nature makes it ideal for concealing the Mafia among the civilian population. Some particularly violent Mafia members have been known to heavily modify these cars into something resembling a war machine.
Work Truck - A bit more conspicuous but still no less hardy, the Trucks employed by the Mafia are tough

Veldin, Zodiac Space
On the far side of the Kurava, the Krima Campaign is currently underway. But while the conflict rages, many have begun to take advantage.
Hence, this day. On the Chisel Plateaus on the southeast quadrant of the planet Veldin, the Zodiac Sector Police has landed. Within hours, they have taken complete command of the planetary defense force, and established a base of operations.
Their mission: Destroy the Veldin Mafia, completely and utterly, then rebuild the infrastructure of the planet from the ground up to reintegrate Veldin back into the Zodiac fray.
Not a simple task, but with the Krima Campaign in full swing, the Zodiac cannot tolerate inner conflicts or parasites leeching resources as The Mafia does. Choose your Class and prepare for reclamation.
