species belonging to the types Arthropoda, Mollusca, Annelida, and other insect-like creatures are ubiquitous, exceeding their normal sizes by several orders of magnitude their sizes range from the smallest — roughly the size of small dogs — to the largest — up to one and a half times bigger than a human.
