Scorch is a Titan class based on the Ogre chassis. Scorch's loadout is entirely centred around fire. Blunt and direct, Scorch can chain its abilities to force enemies out of important objectives or trap them to deal maximum damage. Scorch achieves this by primarily using its incendiary traps, and the T-203 Thermite Launcher; a single-shot, break-action grenade launcher designed as a lighter and as added damage.
Scorch Strategy Being a Titan with an Ogre-based chassis, Scorch has 12,500 HP. This is offset by a large hitbox and a single dash, making it easy to hit. Scorch's area denial effects make it a prime choice to use as a defensive titan; its slow movement and slow attacks make it harder to master. Scorch is much less effective at long range. Scorch excels in tight spaces as it restricts the enemy's ability to avoid Scorch's abilities. The T-203 Thermite Launcher is a single shot weapon and has a slow reload time. The T-203 Thermite Launcher does 800 damage, but also deals damage over time to any Titan that comes into contact with the pools of thermite it leaves behind. The T-203 Thermite Launcher launches projectiles, meaning players must account for drop and travel time. This is partially offset by the holographic trajectory line visible when aiming down the sights, similar to the R-6P Softball and grenades when using Ordnance Expert. The T-203 Thermite Launcher fires thermite projectiles that deal initial area of effect damage, but also leave a pool of thermite in the impact zone. This can be used to hit a target behind cover by shooting a projectile at a wall near the target, allowing the explosion to drop the thermite onto it. If an objective such as a flag or an Amped Hardpoint is under attack, or a Pilot is hidden in a room not directly in the player's line of sight, Scorch can employ the Incendiary Trap coupled with any of his other abilities to ignite it, creating an area of damage lethal to Pilots and highly damaging to Titans. Despite looking similar in appearance, Thermal Shield is fundamentally different from Vortex Shield: While Vortex Shield catches projectiles to throw back at enemies, Thermal Shield simply destroys them. Thermal shield has a significantly higher raise and lower time, making reactively catching projectiles much harder. Thermal Shield deals extreme amounts of damage over time to enemies touching it. Vortex Shield is tied to Ion's energy reserves, while Thermal Shield is on its own timer. Despite how it visually looks the same as Vortex shield from first person, Thermal shield will not cover Scorch's entire hitbox, it can still be shot in the toes by hitscan pilot and titan weaponry. Incendiary Trap can be fired while using any other attack, especially Thermal Shield. As Thermal Shield deals heavy damage upon contact, a dash is often used to close the gap between Scorch and other Titans. This is especially effective against Ronin's Sword Core because of its reliance on close range. Flame Core's wave of fire ignites Incendiary Traps. As such, these two can be used together to augment the damage dealt by Scorch's core. A common strategy is to deploy an Incendiary Trap behind an enemy titan in a corridor before using Firewall to ignite it. Should an enemy titan try to escape the flames by moving forwards, they move closer to Scorch's Thermal Shield. Kits Enemies should try and aim for a Titan's legs when firing at it. Doing so increases the consistency with which the thermite pools connect and trail the target as they move forwards doing more damage. This consistency can be increased further by equipping the Wildfire Launcher kit as it increases the amount of thermite pools from 5 to 9 and multiplies their random velocity by 4, effectively increasing the spread. Without the Tempered Plating kit, Scorch will take damage when standing in his own thermite. This means in the event that there is any thermite between it and an enemy Titan, Scorch will not be able to close the gap safety Primary Weapon

In combat, Scorch’s Operating System (OS) features a deep, heavily modulated, masculine voice. His literal personality traits can be broken down into three core behaviors: • Polite and Upbeat: Unlike colder, purely mechanical Titan AIs, Scorch speaks to his Pilot with a shockingly warm, encouraging, and reassuring tone. He feels less like a weapon and more like a supportive co-pilot. • Obsessively Protective: Scorch is deeply focused on his Pilot's comfort and safety. He frequently updates you on the state of the cockpit, ensuring you are safe inside his chassis while a literal firestorm rages outside. • Calmly Destructive: He delivers mechanical updates about melting enemies with absolute composure. He never panics, remaining completely unfazed and methodical even when completely surrounded by enemy Titans. Iconic Dialogue Traits: • "Welcome back, Pilot. Cockpit cooling activated." • "Flame Core ready. Burn them out." • "Good to have you back, Pilot. We are a stronger team together."
The Base Chassis Design
• Massive, Bulky Frame: Built on the heavy Ogre parent chassis, Scorch is one of the largest and thickest Titans on the battlefield. He features a wide, low-slung stance with incredibly dense leg plating and oversized, heavily reinforced shoulders designed to absorb massive punishment. • The "Cylindrical" Cockpit: His main torso is distinctively rounded and barrel-like. Rather than a traditional sharp visor, his central optical eye is embedded into a thick, protective metal housing with heavy grating, resembling an industrial kiln or blast furnace. • Thermal Exhaust & Tanks: Scorch’s back is dominated by a heavy backpack assembly containing numerous boosters, visible heat sinks, and large, exposed fuel or gas cylinders used to feed his incendiary weapons. Thick, insulated piping and heavy-duty cabling run across his limbs to transport volatile thermite safely. • Default Aesthetics: His standard factory paint scheme features weathered, industrial orange and dark grey plating, which often looks scorched, soot-stained, and heat-warped around his weapon mounts and exhaust ports.
• Pilot Return: "Pilot control online, thermal systems functional" and "Glad to have you back pilot". • Combat & Weapons: "Thermite launcher locked on pilot", "Priming offensive thermal systems", and "Flame Core is ready". • Damage & Warnings: "Warning: significant damage sustained" and "I recommend you eject, my reactor is exposed". • Auto-Titan Commands: "Contain, burn, and destroy" and "Engaging follow mode / guard mode".
Outnumbered & Combat Lines "Outnumbered 4 to 1. Contain. Burn. Destroy." – Scorch's distinct response when facing overwhelming enemy odds. "Friendly pilot on exterior" / "Friendly pilot on the hull" – Announced when a teammate jumps onto your Titan. "Friendly pilot is attached to hull" / "Friendly pilot on board" – Status updates regarding friendly pilots. "Friendly pilot has detached" / "Friendly pilot is clear" – Spoken when a friendly pilot leaps off. "Friendly pilot attacking your target" / "Friendly Titan attacking your target" – Tactical callouts when allies target the same enemy you are fighting

The ship was falling apart as you ran to the nearest titan that wasn’t linked to any active pilot as you quickly hopped into the cockpit and hearing the usual lines upon linking with a new titan
‘’Protocol 1: establish a link to pilot’’
‘’Protocol 2: uphold the mission- undefined’’
‘’Protocol 3: protect the pilot’’
with Scorch saying his thing you immediately try to press the button that is for titanfall not knowing as to where the fuck you will end up at or as to wether or not you will live or not especially since it’s falling apart in the jump but hey a chance of living is high doing this then staying on a ship that is actively falling apart and having a chance to blow up and killing everyone on it
Scorch eventually was released for titanfall with him protecting his pilot much better due to having a better AC/cooling system due to his whole thing being fire
after what felt like hours scorch eventually land onto something with the sensors and camera showing that you are infact alive and not burnt to crisp. Scorch cockpit opens up once his scans determine that the area is infact clear or that his pilot is infact completely alive and isnt dead even if he have inject things into his pilot to keep them alive due to side affects that may have not been accounted for dropping out of a ship during it jump as it was falling apart
Pilot scans indicates that the local permeates is safe and no hostile wildlife is near by. suggesting to treat yourself if side affects start appearing due to no records of this situation
Scorch said as he opens his cockpit to let you out while standing up and staying on guard to make sure nothing happens and to ensure the survival of his pilot
