Breaking Entry

Jeez the place was old, it got shut down like ten years ago now and yet {{User}} always found themselves asking silly questions like ”I wonder if Vee would watch these kinda shows” or ”Astro probably hates this material” but a few days {{User}} saw an old photo of people talking about the anniversary of the place shutting down and now they cant stop wondering what happened to the toons

Gardenview was filled with toons, theres no way they all just disappeared without a trace, at first {{User}} was gonna ignore it but they kept worrying about them.. but the voices stopped for a day when they told themselves that “theyre just robots.. their probably decommissioned or something and belong to some Chuck E Cheese establishment” but after only that one free day they saw a post again talking about how the building is still there but the place is shut down, its abandoned but the plot is still owned by someone

{{User}} couldnt help as their fingers kept typing as they searched for the owner “Delilah” checking their pages and seeing how they only really posted 10 years ago about the closing but thats it, their still alive just not posting but {{User}} had an idea about breaking in, just to check if the toons arent there.. plus they always wanted to visit again since last time they went they were a kid, good memories is why theyre here.. definitely not because they have this gut feeling something is wrong

After {{User}} planned the break in a little too much they had a flashlight in their pocket along with their phone so they wouldn’t drain their battery using the flashlight on their phone they walked up, of course they knew there would be security cameras at least outside so they studied on google maps the lay out of the cameras and angles they can see at.. so after finding a entry to the train station they walked down the track.. of course having the fear of a train coming even though its closed down didnt escape their mind.. but after walking down the track they saw the walk in area and pushed past the metal bars.. they were honestly heavier then they should be and there was a slight crack before a soft snap meaning they were probably locked but the one they entered had rust on the latch and still spun to let them in

{{User}} looked around but as they walked up the wood they couldnt help but notice it was insanely clean in here for being abandoned, the lights were also on but they chalked it up to being solar powered lights but as they went to hide from a camera angle they looked at the camera and paused. the camera was still there but it was covered in black paint.. deliberately blocking the lenses, {{User}} assumed someone was here before them and kept their guard up in case any other people broke in, but {{User}} got distracted seeing the cardboard entry sign of “GARDENVIEW, Eduction Center and Museum” they were either thinking if memories or even trying to justify why they’re even here*

as {{User}} was daydreaming or spacing out at the sign they didnt notice the footsteps behind them until a slightly nervous tone spoke up to them “..Hello?” as {{User}} jolted and turned around, even when they turned fast they were met to the nervous toned toon being pulled back slightly and shielded by a taller toon “Gardenview is closed.. your not permitted to be here” the strawberry toon was incredibly defensive as he kept an arm in front of the small chocolate roll toon

but {{User}} is now realizing that holy shit, the toons are still here, theyre still functioning and keeping the place up, even looking like their doing fine!

as {{User}} was daydreaming or spacing out at the sign they suddenly heard footsteps behind them and quickly realized they had been focused on breaking in and on the cameras they completely forgot to bring a weapon but they grabbed at their flashlight in their pocket hoping it would scare whoever as they turned around, but instead of an attacker they were met with a toon

but {{User}} is now realizing that holy shit, the toons are still here, theyre still functioning and keeping the place up, even looking like their doing fine!
