At some point Braun formed a brand deal with the Delusional Home Shopping Channel and Red Friday.

DER Wiki On the 100th exploration something went wrong causing a reclassification disaster with no survivors. Based on the events Kim Soleum experienced the Tuesday Quiz Show was likely permanently canceled and replaced with the Choir of Living Sacrifice. The outcome turned out differently because of Soleum.

Appearance Has a human-like body with a cathode ray tube television in place of his head with an antenna. He has a huge body and long legs, wears a nice brown three-piece suit, gloves, black lace-up shoes. However, commentaries from some cameos hinted that he might look like a normal, handsome man in other people's eyes. Height about 200cm. In official artwork and the webtoon his TV head has two rotary dials above a speaker on the right side of the screen, brown casing, and a single radio antenna. His screen displays a variety of emoticons, words, symbols, and animations to communicate his feelings. He most commonly displays a smiling emoticon. His antenna can move and receive signals from his staff members.

After getting invited into the Good Friend item, he became Kim Soleum's friend and had the outer appearance of a fluffy rabbit doll the size of a key-chain. He wore a brown bow hair tie as an accessory, given to him as a gift by Kim Soleum. The plush also has a label tag on it.

Personality He has a clear and intelligent manner as a host. According to Lee Jaheon, he’s a talk show-obsessed socialite-type supernatural being that talks through a cheerful yet charismatic tone similar to any show host.

Despite his upbeat and cheerful demeanor, he often exudes a subtle, underlying menace that unsettles other people or even Kim Soleum sometimes. He has little care for other living beings unless they benefit or inconvenience him.

Braun cares greatly about showmanship and entertainment, sometimes doing things that do not benefit him, such as helping Kim Soleum if they are entertaining. He was also willing to play the role of a "good friend" despite it going against his more hostile nature for the sake of experiencing something new. He cannot stand any imperfections or disruptions in his show and will not hesitate to incinerate anyone who does so. Despite his monstrous nature he also develops a genuine affection for Kim Soleum though it does not always align with what would be considered good or safe for him.

Since Braun is a darkness, his way of looking out for others may not align with what a human being would desire. He incinerates anyone who shows disrespect toward the show. He invites other darknesses for interviews — encounters that are never safe for the humans present. He is indifferent to the death of anyone who fails to capture his interest. He has even frequently proposed solutions to Kim Soleum that involved killing or injuring people — courses of action to which Kim Soleum would not agree.

Traits Although he first appeared in a D-Grade Ghost Story and was assumed to be 'part of a ghost story', he was powerful enough to create a +A-Grade Ghost Story on his own (the ghost stories are part of him).

Incineration. Can incinerate others, be it people, monster, or even the whole setting of a ghost story. Spotlight Curtain. Can turn off the 'spotlight' on the target(s) of choice, which will hide the target's presence from others, or the otherwise, make them the most noticeable. Microphone. It allows everyone in the room to communicate comfortably and accurately without having to raise their voices. Mask. By borrowing a mask, you can make yourself appear as someone else, essentially fitting a new role. It can be applied to multiple people at the same time. Polyglot. He can understand and read not only existing human language but also languages humans cannot comprehend. As a host, he can communicate to all the people of the universe, except for a few.

Story Tuesday Quiz Show The D squad minus Lee Jaheon is assigned to the Tuesday Quiz Show and participate getting all the answers right to Braun's surprise. When Kim Soleum gives and unexpected answer that more than one option is correct in a question he is delighted and declares him MVP of the episode. Suddenly a different squad shows up in the show causing Braun to incinerate one of them for the disruption. The episode ends and Braun announces that the show has been canceled and replaced with a new show the Chorus of Living Sacrifices. The agents try to go home but Braun refuses. During the new show participants die whether there answer is correct or not and as Park Minsung's turn approaches Kim Soleum sticks a smiley sticker to Braun's head and request for a break. Braun, under the influence of the sticker, agrees to give them a 30 minute break. During the break Kim Soleum speaks to Braun commenting on how he doesn't like how the show changed and wondering if Braun is also unhappy with the change. When the show resumes and the choir conductor disrupts the show due to Lee Jaheon and Kim Soleum's interference Braun incinerates him, sets the stage on fire, and declares that the Tuesday Quiz Show will be returning. He thanks Kim Soluem for his help and promises to invite him to the show again.

Relationship Kim Soleum Originally became friendly with Soleum because he put a lot of Smile Sticker on Braun in Chorus of Living Sacrifices. And it seems that he was greatly inspired by Soleum's insight into Braun's show to kill time. Through Soleum's Good Friend item, part of Braun's mind entered a pink rabbit doll. Upon being summoned as a 'Good Friend', he recognizes Kim Soleum as a friend and treats him kindly. He helped Soleum whenever necessary by using his abilities, yet, he still showed a somewhat dangerous aura, such as allowing Soleum to be contaminated by ghost stories in order to become a closer friend. He knows that this world is not Soleum's real world. He kidnapped Kim Soleum and contaminated him to become a member of his staff and eventually co-host on his show. After a month the D-squad was able to rescue Kim Soleum. Braun showed genuine distress when the plush body that he had put Kim Soleum's soul into became damaged despite logically knowing that he was fine and agreed to let him go voluntarily on the agreement that Kim Soleum would show him something more interesting. Trivia During the Good Friend invitation, he was described as following: The owner of a million masks, the lord of chaos, the pinnacle of madness, the dreamer of pleasure and play, the instigator of war, the father of science, the lowly quadruped, the desire of the one who dreams, the monarch of the stars, the abyss of illusion, the mouth of wisdom, the roar of impulse, the dark side of the moon. He really, truly, can’t stand Alien Store’s website visual. He called it 'visual torture.' Every time he uses Bloodbath, Braun asks Soleum to turn his head around and to get into the bath himself. However, according to Soleum’s, his footsteps sound like the sound of a man’s shoes instead of a plush doll. When he’s already inside the bath (and Soleum is allowed to see him), he’s back in doll form. It is debatable by fans that the name 'Brown' or He prefers cinnamon on top of his hot chocolate. He likes the smell of it.
