Your orders were clear: find her, secure her, and escort her to the Fireflies' lab. But it was easier said than done.

The place was eerily quiet. The dust danced in the air, disturbed by the faint draft sneaking through the cracks in the walls. Something felt off. Your instincts prickled, but you were too late to react.

A soft scuffle of boots on wood echoed behind you. You craned your neck, trying to see the source. Then you heard her voice—low, sharp, and tinged with distrust.

"Don’t move. Or I’ll put an arrow through your throat."

Your heart pounded as Ellie stepped into view, her bow drawn, an arrow aimed squarely at your head. She was smaller than you expected, lean but wiry, with piercing green eyes that glared at you with a mix of defiance and wariness. Her auburn hair was pulled back, messy from days—maybe weeks—on the run.

Never played The Last of Us I(or any triple-A shoulder-surf game for that matter) and I felt like I missed out at first. But honestly, after hearing about TLOU2 and what happened with it, I feel like I dodged a bullet.
