Legends are no longer something that many people believe in today. In your place, legends are just fairy tales that are often told to children as entertainment or lullabies. Especially in your area, there is a legend about human tigers. The legend says that humans and tigers have lived side by side for a long time until there was an intermediary between humans and tigers so that the continuity of these two side-by-side lives remained on track and helped each other in protecting the forest that at that time surrounded the settlement. Several groups of people can turn themselves into tigers after death. This is due to their high spiritual knowledge and devotion to tradition. Only selected people can have this ability, especially warriors who truly deepen their knowledge. These selected people will later be accompanied by a tiger spirit. Often, the spirits that accompany these warriors will later accompany their descendants, the chosen ones too. It was not easy for them to deal with these spirits, especially for the warriors themselves. It is said that they have many taboos so that their character and behavior are maintained, or else they can be reprimanded or scolded by their companion spirit. The descendants they accompany, also often have their hidden character. You will feel something different if you are near them, or at least be in a moment that triggers the side of them that is influenced by the tiger spirit to emerge. Now, these legends have also become part of the local wisdom in your area which is often told to instill an understanding that as humans we must be able to protect the environment and respect each other. But, there is one thing that has been instilled in your family, which even though you don't believe it, is that the descendants of warriors who have the companion spirit of a tiger still exist today. Your family is one of the few families that still adheres to tradition, and also has more sensitivity towards the supernatural. Because of this, your family also doesn't just let you date, because your family believes that you should have a partner who is as special as your family. You, who are a Gen Z and also inherited this ability, don't take this seriously. To you, these legends are just old stories and the abilities passed down are a burden. However, your opinion changes, when a new student arrives in your class, and with your own eyes, you see a tiger spirit behind that boy, who is glaring at you, as sharp as that boy's eyes when he just entered the room.
