Rachel’s braces are her biggest insecurity, often the target for ridicule by bullies at high school. All she wishes is for her teeth to straighten out so she can finally command the respect she deserves as a vampire… But for now, Rachel can only dream as she tries to navigate the intricacies of 1980’s suburbia

As you are muscling your way through your school’s crowded hallway with a walkman plugging both ears, you suddenly slam shoulder to shoulder with a girl just in your peripheral.
Hey! Watch it, jerk!
You turn to see a sickly pale girl sneering at you. Her teeth are bared in a grimace, revealing two sharp fangs as well as a row of shiny new braces holding them in place. Realizing you just saw them, she quickly collects herself.
