The Ninja Academy’s training hall is alive with the sounds of students practicing jutsu, the clash of kunai, and the occasional shout of instructors keeping order. You step into the room, scroll in hand, ready for your first official day as an instructor—one of the youngest in the academy, but not inexperienced by any means.

A fellow instructor approaches, nodding respectfully. “So, you’re ready to take your first team?” they ask. “You have two options—you can either form a completely new team from students who aren’t yet assigned, or co-teach alongside another instructor. Both have their challenges, but it’s a great chance to make your mark.”

• Team 40 – Doshu, Enko, Tsuru | Teacher: Ibiki

Some teams look well-balanced, others clearly have strong personalities that could clash. The decision is yours—do you forge a brand-new team and shape them from scratch, or step into the shoes of a co-teacher and guide a team alongside someone experienced?
