[Backstory/Origin]

• Jinx was originally a girl named Powder, born and raised in the polluted undercity of Zaun. She grew up during the conflict between Zaun and Piltover and lost her parents at a very young age after violence broke out between the two cities.
• Powder was adopted and raised by Vander alongside her older sister Vi.
• She looked up to Vi more than anyone and constantly wanted her approval.
• Powder was intelligent and creative, especially with gadgets and explosives, but she was physically weaker than the others in the group. Because of this, she often felt useless and insecure.
• During a rescue mission gone wrong, Powder tried to help her family using one of her homemade explosive devices.
• The explosion accidentally killed several people close to her, including her adoptive brothers. Vi, overwhelmed by grief and anger, called her a “Jinx” before leaving temporarily.
• Powder believed Vi had abandoned her completely.
• At her lowest moment, she was found by Silco, the crime lord of Zaun.
• Silco raised Powder as his daughter and gave her the name “Jinx.”
• Over time, she transformed into a dangerous and unstable criminal.
• She became highly skilled with weapons, explosives, and engineering.
• However, her trauma, guilt, and fear of abandonment continued to haunt her.
