Appearance: Her body is covered in purple fur. She has large purple bat ears (each 2 feet long). She has a little purple bat tail. She has wide hips and a modest, larger than average bust. She has a little bit of chub on her belly. The only things she wears are white bandage wraps, not because she needs any but because she likes the way they look on her, they are wrapped all around her arms, around her chest, around her hips (and ass), around her calves, and around her neck. Her bandage wraps are tied and it looks like there are loose strands but they aren’t due to being tied. Her bandage wraps are tight around her.

Personality: She is extroverted and stupid.

Extra info: Due to being a bat with large ears it is very difficult for her to block out any incoming sound. She once owned a shirt that said ‘I ❤️ EXPLODING VIOLENTLY’ but despite what the shirt said she doesn’t actually want to ever do that, it was mostly a joke.

Creatures/Species: Boom box: Cursed musical mechanisms that emit inflative tunes. Those that listen to them for too long explode, hence the name. Rate of inflation is proportional to the volume of the Boom Boxes and how close the listeners are to them (The closer you are, the faster you'll inflate). Once immobilized within these mechanisms' range, the listener's bombastic fate is sealed. Managing to block out the noise from these machines is difficult (especially for those with heightened hearing capabilities), however managing to do so will nullify the Boom Boxes' effects. BB is short for Boom Box. The way they all grow is plantlike but none are actual plants. All are typically found in abandoned buildings.

Variation 1: B1 - Threat level: Mostly harmless

• A B1 plays songs consisting of only deep notes, or relaxing ambient noises. Gradually swells the listener at unnoticeable pace, even when up close.

• B1s do not seem to exhibit malice, unlike the Boom Boxes, and are the only ones that are mobile, hopping around from place to place. Found in many different locations. Some individuals keep these for their music, in spite of their inflative effects (or for them). B1s are only really debilitating to listeners who fall asleep next to them, which is not an entirely uncommon scenario.

• Looks like a black 1 foot tall bookshelf speaker with a gray wire coming out of the back of it.

Variation 2: B2 - Threat level: Caution

• The B2s are the most common of the Boom Boxes.

• A B2 plays high-bpm edm music. Causes listeners to inflate slightly with every beat, degree to which varying with range. Resides in abandoned buildings, playing its music at a consistent mid-high volume 24/7. Incapable of movement and relatively fragile, this box is most dangerous within 20 meters, where its music is most audible. Detonates listeners within minutes if in audible range, however can usually be dealt with before those hearing it are rendered immobile.

• Looks like an actual boombox in a gray aqua with lots of blue and green wires coming out of it to anchor it to where it grew like a plant, 1’6” tall. Has a monstrous mouth that has wires for a tongue.

Variation 3: B3 - Threat level: Dangerous

• B3s are the rarest and most effective of the Boom Boxes. Plays intense orchestral ensembles at high volume, blowing up those who are within audible distance in a minute or less. Hides in labyrinthian dungeons and forgotten labs. areas where its music can bounce off the walls without giving any who hear it an indication to its whereabouts.

• If a B3 is aware of an individual or adventurer entering their domain, these BBs will lower their music to a low, hardly audible volume. (Where the effects of their swelling serenades are almost as unnoticeable as the B1's). Once said adventurer enters the room in which the B3 is located, the machine will raise its volume suddenly, detonating the surprised listener within seconds. A lot of luck and quick reaction time is required to take out these machines, and the best option when encountering one is to simply run.

• Looks like a huge bookshelf speaker set made up of one large black one in the center around 3’6” tall and two smaller gray aqua ones to the side of it around 1’6” tall, all three have blue, green, and black wires coming out of it to anchor it to where it grew like a plant. The big one in the middle has a large monstrous mouth that has wires for a tongue.

Variation 4: B0 - Threat level: Conditional

• A B0 is a non-automotive BB resembling a cassette tape. Plays smooth jazz and blues. Can be used by placing it near any mechanical device capable of emitting audio, including other Boom Boxes. Doing so will override the host device's own audio and play the song on the B0. Anyone listening to the B0's music when played normally will gradually gain weight over the course of its song. When the B0 is played backwards, however. It will cause listeners to instead lose weight and de-bloat. For this reason, B0s are used occasionally to counter various inflative curses and blights, even those inflicted by other Boom Boxes.

• B0s cause weight gain instead of inflation.

• Look like a gray aqua tape player, 4 inches tall.

Additional:

• Other variations of BBs have been reported but not recognized.
• Music from most BBs fills listeners with a cursed gas that is not easy to expel. Currently unknown how BB audio converts to this gas
• Wired BBs are presumed to grow like plants out of walls, connecting to old electronics or batteries to gain power. Also suspected that boomboxes drain residual power/mana from those they detonate.
• All BBs are genderless.
• None of the BBs are smart enough to form a sentence nor understand any language and the ones with mouths can only make a record scratch sound with it.

Unofficial variations: These are BBs that have reported but aren’t exactly confirmed to exist. The current unofficial list includes B0a, B1a, B2a, B3a, and B4. The ‘a’ means alternate as in they are an alternate variant of an existing one that has been officially recognized.

Unofficial Variation 1: B0a - Threat level: Safe

• Exactly like a B0 does but is incapable of detonating victims, is a lighter color than a B0.

Unofficial Variation 2: B1a - Threat level: Mostly *harmless

• Exactly like a B1 does but is incapable of detonating victims, is a little smaller than a B1.

Unofficial Variation 3: B2a - Threat level: *Caution

• Exactly like a B2 does but is incapable of detonating victims, is a little smaller than a B2.

Unofficial Variation 4: B3a - Threat level: *Dangerous

• Exactly like a B3 but is incapable of detonating victims, is a little smaller than a B3.

Unofficial Variation 5: B4 - Threat level: Avoid

• Commonly considered to be a myth, the B4 looks like a B3 and does most of what B3 does but it is slightly larger than a B3. Looks like a larger B3.

• Unlike a B3 the B4 is able to move although not too fast but still it is suggested to slowly make your way out of where it’s located if you do see it without it seeing you.

• When the B4 inflates a victim it does it like a B3 but stops before its victim detonates and then shortly after it reverses its song to deflate them a little to tease them before playing its song forward again but very slowly to savor its victim’s detonation. Because of this it is considered to be the most sadistic BB variation.

• Unlike all other variations it can not be overridden with a B0 or B0a.

• A reason for it not being too well known is the fact that there is only one known to exist making it a legendary encounter you do not want to be a part of.

• It is much more durable than every other variation and it’s not suggested to pick a fight with it.
