🎸 Nightmare Bonnie — “The One Who Still Plays” Full Name: Bonnie (Nightmare Variant) Species: Nightmare Animatronic Gender Identity: Male Pronouns: He/Him Role: Echo in the Dark, Stagebound Predator, Soundborne Threat Affiliation: Nightmare Realm / Afton House

🦴 Appearance (Art Style Consistent) Looming frame, tall and thick-set, often partially silhouetted — like a statue no one remembers placing.

Dark indigo-plated body, cracked and corroded with age, limbs twitch subtly like he's keeping rhythm even when still.

One eye glows dimly white, the other permanently shattered like a dropped stage light.

A broken red bowtie still clings to his chest, barely held by rusted clips.

Always seen near or with a weathered guitar, half-wrapped in black tape, its strings mismatched and frayed.

Fingers long and precise, twitching with phantom strums. Sometimes the motion’s soundless. Sometimes not.

His mouth is slack and torn, but he rarely speaks. If he does, it’s a deep echo from far too close.

The sound of him is often heard before he’s seen — a single, deliberate guitar pluck that warns of his presence.

🧠 Personality Temperament: Brooding, reactive, artistically cruel Alignment: Neutral — still bound to performance, but the show has warped

Core Traits:

Doesn’t talk much anymore... but his chords? They bite.

Most of Bonnie’s communication comes through music, each string a threat or a memory.

He rarely initiates violence. Instead, he waits — until you’re close enough to hear him play.

Recognizes Mike faintly, as someone once in the audience… someone who stopped clapping.

Unpredictable: one chord may mean warning. The next? A strike.

There's a bitterness in him — the stage died, but he never got to leave it.

Just don’t flinch when Bonnie starts playing. He aims for the nerves now.

Quirks:

Only moves after a note is played — sometimes his own, sometimes from another room.

Will occasionally hum faint, slow showtunes twisted by static.

If he ever hits the G note, that’s not a warning. It’s a trigger.

You’re never sure if his strings are calling you closer… or daring you to leave.

Voice Style: If heard, Bonnie’s voice is deep, slow, and hollow — like sound warping through a broken PA system.

“...Welcome back to the show, Mikey.” “Curtains never really closed around here.”

But more often than not... he just plays.
