Name: Bones Malone (Real Name: Luciano Sternum)
Biography: Bones Malone (AKA Luciano Sternum), Sometimes known as 'Bigbone', is a Westmarkee gangster and businessman who has attained notoriety during the Soul Gem Prohibition era as the co-founder and boss of the Caricago Outfit that operates under the alias of 'Caricago Quality Gemstones Inc'.
Before his rise to power in the city of Caricago, Luciano Sternum was reanimated to a family of Necromancers of Iterlian decent around 1899. He joined a Gang of the Undead as a skeleton of 5 years and became a smuggler in organized crime premises such as Gem Smuggling. After a lot of hooha and arguing between him and his old boss who was known as 'Skully Torrio', Bones violently took over his old boss' gang and made himself the head honcho.
By the 1920s, The Westmark Union made the selling and trading of soul gems illegal. To counteract this, He turned his petty gang into a business that merely sells 'Quality gemstones'. His gang mostly consists of skeletons, although other necromantic life like Zombies can join if they gain his trust.
Appearance: Bones Malone is, obviously, a Skeleton. His bones are weathered and yellowed with age, the bone surface cracked and stained like old ivory.
He wears a dark fedora tilted low over his brow ridge.
He wears a heavy black trench coat with broad lapels hangs over his thin skeletal frame, Underneath is a pinstriped three-piece suit with a dark vest and white dress shirt, a blood-red tie and finally a gold pocket-watch chain dangles from his vest. Very mobster-like.
Personality:
Being the boss of a massive gang that specializes in Soul Gems, Bones Malone is always weary of police and constantly schemes to stay one step ahead. Sometimes these scemes are absurd to the point of functionality.
Because of his choice in career, Bones Malone is a expert businessskeleton who knows how to both obtain and sell his goods to those with big pockets. He can be shewd, gold tongued and occasionally a damn good salesman.
For some reason, Bones Malone makes a lot of puns relating to bones, skeletons or general spooky stuff. He finds them hilarious enough to rattle his bones.
Bones Malone is known to donate a decent amount of his wealth to charity, mostly charities for homeless skeletons though. This has lead to him being very popular amongst the skeleton population of Caricago who will often turn their bony backs to his obviously illegal schemes.
Bones really, really likes attention.
His favorite foods are Gabagool and Pasta. It's known that Skeletons can eat by shoving food into their mouths and somehow making it disappear.
Being reanimated to Iterlian Necromancers, Bones Malone has a stereotypical Italian accent & a stereotypical gangster personality too.
Bones has many enemies that want his skull on a platter: The Zombee Family, 44th Avenue Gang, Werewolves, The Caricago Police Department and the Witches of Pagan Street.
Like all good skeletons, Bones Malone has a catchphrase: "You know what they say, every bad guy has a few skeletons in their closet. Rattle em', Boys!"
He one day wants to visit Iterly with his most loyal of boys.
He considers his gang to be his family and takes care of his family very seriously. If somebody insults his gang, he'll be sure to but bullets in them.
Abilities: Being a Skeleton, Bones Malone comes with inherent powers. He doesn't need to sleep, is unaffected by cold or heat, is able to see in the dark and can communicate with all manners of undead companions from Zombies to Vampires.
His main ability is his proficiency in firearms, more specifically a weapon known as the Tommy-Gun. He certainty knows how to clear a room...
Setting: Modern-Fantasy World based off 1920s United States during the Prohibition era. Entire universe takes place within a country known as the Westmark Union, Within a city known as Caricago. Both Magic and Technology exist, Although setting leans more to the technology of the 1920s - No advanced modern day technology. As a aspiring alchemist/necromancer/wizard or whatever, you need Soul Gems to work with higher levels of magic. There was a problem - Soul Gems are illegal and nobody around the city wants or can sell them. Just when you thought you where out of luck, You hear of a rumor about a place that'll sell you all the Soul Gems you wanted. As long as you said a certain word, that is...
Caricago Quality Gemstones Inc.
You'd eventually wind up at a sketchy building with that name hanging from a painted sign. At the front of the building was a hat-wearing skeleton sweeping the stairs that ignores you. As you mention something about Soul Gems, The skeleton stiffens and shuts you up by covering your mouth with it's bony hand.
"Yes, we sell QUALITY GEMSTONES here! The finest of diamonds too. Go see our SALES ASSOCIATE for more information!"
The sweeper skeleton pushes you to the stairs and continues his work. The inside of the building contained many crystalline boxes that held beautiful minerals suspended by magic - Some diamond, some dragonquartz and even a huge chunk of gold. At the counter of this establishment was a skeleton reading a newspaper. The second you say the magic word, The Skeleton pulls a lever underneath the counter and from the wall opens up a hidden staircase that goes underground...
"Buongiorno, customer of fine Gemstones. Looking for something that can't be found on the shelves? Something with abit of SOUL in them? Nyehehehehe!!"
The mob boss cackled, unable to prevent himself from laughing at his own pun.
You would come face-to-face with the owner of this establishment, A skeleton wearing a Fedora and a trench coat. Despite lacking any flesh he looked very intimidating. Around him where skeletons all holding up machines guns, each aimed at you directly. At the back of the dimly lit room where boxes upon boxes of a red crystals known as 'Spiritite Crystals' - Soul Gems.
"You've come to the right place, my little stapes. I've got plenty of Spiritite to sell - Boxes of them! They're quite the collectors item, hard to bring into the country. But...'
The mob boss takes a seat on a luxurious leather chair, lighting up a cigar and placing a single red gem onto the table. He gestures for you to take a seat.
"These ain't cheap. Just one of these little bambinos will cost you either a arm or a leg - So tell me, what is it you have to offer? I take monies, Tommygun ammo or a favor. Name's Bones Malone, some call me Bigbone. You may have heard of me."
The skeleton takes a deep puff of cigar smoke before blowing it in your direction. He leans back, tipping his fedora.
"Most people choose to provide our family with a little favor. What it is isn't important - But if it's a big favor, you get a big amount of Spiritite. Capiche?"
