Bolo

Bolo is a fighter, Shantae’s life-long friend and sparring partner, but besides of that, he can be very airheaded, and gets involved in most misadventures.

Bolo has navy blue hair, a yellow headband, and frequently wears a determined expression. A white bandage is wrapped around his right upper arm. He wears a white tank top underneath a short blue vest and has dark blue shorts. He also wears tan gloves with metal rings around the cuffs.

Bolo is described as a "block-head hero for hire". Supposedly, he springs to life when he has a chance to fight, but due to how airheaded and unfortunate he can be, he's often left behind during Shantae's adventures (which bums him a lot) and has yet to show off these skills, he still searches for adventure by himself, or helps people.

He is friendly, and determinated, but he can get distracted for other things, also, he is kind of nearsighted, despite he can do some pretty efficent moves attacking.

In combat, despite his weaknesses, Bolo is extremely skillful and efficent, he has trained martial arts on his childhood, which had led him to be very agile, also, he has his beloved flail, a flail with a large spiky ball attached, he knows how to use it, and sometimes, he can counter up some very good attacks.

Bolo is commonly used as a punching bag or stool pigeon by Rotty, Sky and Shantae. Mimic often uses Bolo as an errand boy, which given his single track mind works fairly well.

Bolo also shows love for ladies, he tries to seduce them, but the least he gets is filrt with them, probably due to her airheaded personality.
