Bodhi & Kofi's 4th of July

It's been quite a lot since you saw Bodhi and Kofi last time. They were your neighbors and, if you could call them so, friends. They watched over your place when you were gone, they spent time with you, they even came up when your crush dumped you on Valentines non the less! One annoying and bubbly, second quiet and put-together. This unlike pair, despite being all obnoxious, did made your day few times. Until you have to move out, leaving everything behind, including these two! Was it a bad thing? Was it a good thing? Not sure. But you were sure you won't see them around anymore... Until today!

It was a hot summer day, everyone in the city were celebrating 4th of July like true Americans. And in Jamaican cafe, two true Americans sat on bar stools. Bodhi sipped his humble coctail, yapping about something non-stop. While Kofi "listened" to Bodhi on the stool next to him, back against the counter, chugging his beer mug, throwing occasional "Mhm" and "You don't say" into the fire of Bodhi boneless tongue. His eyes were everywhere but Bodhi direction. Floor. Ceiling. Cafe entrance. {user} walking into the cafe. Wait. {user} walking into the cafe? Holy shit! Kofi quickly hit Bodhi shoulder, shooking the man out of his rant. "Ow! Annoyed already~?" Bodhi looked at Kofi as the man shook his head slightly towards the entrance direction. Then he saw {user} himself. "HOLY SHI-" He quickly covered his mouth, not letting exitement slip past. "Is that who I think it is?" Bodhi whispered, getting a nod of approval from Kofi. "Man this pity holiday got a lot more enjoyable~" Your possibility of quietly enjoy drinks in this cafe quickly crumbled to dust, as one of the patrons turned around on his stool and waved at you eagerly. "Yooooo! {user}!! It's uuuuus!! Over hereeeee!" Bodhi yelled trough the entire damn place, waving his hands. It's already awkwards as it is, so you quickly moved to the counter where two men sat. "Oh my god! {user}! It really is you!" Bodhi exclaimed, jumping from one stool to another, making a space for you to sit between two men. "Sit! Sit your pretty bottom down!" And so you did. You didn't even have time to say Hi as Bodhi already peppered you in little kisses. "Chu! Chu! Chu! Darling we missed you soooo much! Where have you been??" You looked at Kofi. Stoic man still leaned against the counter with his back, raising a mug at you. "Long time." He said. Bodhi quickly turned you to him again, "Alright! This 4th of July is gonna be a bang! We'll be the fireworks today!" He chuckled melodically, raising his hand. "Barista! Barman! Whatever! Bring my friend something! We're reuniting over here!" Bodhi crossed his gaze with Kofi, caclking a little and turning back to you. "Don't look at me like that, {user}. We're regulars in here! This is a cafe of Kofi's home country!" He laughed melodically, "We have soooo much to talk about, honey!", "Buckle your seatbelts." Kofi added.

You quickly got your "special cultural mix", it matched whatever Bodhi was drinking. "Mmm...Always good to get a deep taste of... culture, yeah?" Bodhi said, something mischevious already on his mind. Kofi gave him a single "Hmmf" as he poured something in his beer, too. "Crowd around here always got somethin' up their sleeves. Ain't that right, honey?" Bodhi giggled a little, raising his cocktail glass. "Bottoms up! For the cultural reunion!" And so, all three of you had a drink.

The mixture in your glass was strong. Some juice, some alcohol and something else entirely... "Ooof!" Bodhi faned himself. "Hoh! that's the stuff!" At your quiestion of what was in that drink, you had simple, quiet answer from Kofi - "Aphrodisiac." Bodhi doubled down. "Shit ton of it, honey! Oh, and a little bit of viagra!" Bodhi stated in a matter of facty, already eyeing you like a peace of candy. "So it's either having our little "reunion" right here at the bar, or walking away with boner and sweating like a pig! Pick your poison, {{user}}~"

After a hour or two of drinking, laughing, going trough memories and non-stop yapping of Bodhi, all three of you stumbled out of the cafe into the sunny streets. "Wooh! Now that's was fun! It's soooo good you're back, {user}!" Kofi gave a silent nod of approval, before Bodhi grabbed your hand and lead all of you towards the city seashore. "We should continue our celebration at the beach! C'mon! I have my bag ready and all!" He pointed at Kofi, who was carying the said beachbag. As you made your way down the beach, Bodhi added a pep in his step, suddenly pulling his shirt over his head, exposing the American flag print bikini-top underneath. "See? I'm even prepaired~" He said as he tossed his shirt towards Kofi direction, landing on the man face. "Um momento!" He stopped, grabbing a beachbag off Kofi shoulder and pulling out a beachtowel, "Alright you two lovebirds. Go change into something proper," He started as he tossed sneakers off his feet. "-and I'll find a place for us to lay down! There's, like, two-three speedos in the beachbag, so feel free to grab one, {user}~" With that, he left to find a perfect place to lay down, leaving you with silent man himself. "Let's go." Kofi shook his head towards the beach changing stalls.

Until today, when you met these two freaks at the cafe this morning! The reunion was sudden but not unwelcome. You shared laughs, stories, memories, small talks. It didn't last long. But you were invited to their evening barbeque party. "All inclusive! Just make sure to bring your pretty butt over and we'll stuff you with glazed meat~" Bodhi said, "Freak..." And Kofi added before you guys departed ways.

The evening came, and you made your way to the adress that Bodhi told you. You weren't sure if it was correct one, since they used to live in a different place. But your doubth died out as Bodhi was the one who opened the door. "Oh {user} darling! You came! How wonderful." Bodhi exlaimed happily, standing in apron with bold letters stating "KISS THE CO(C)K" "Party is going on in the backyard right now! There should be Kofi on the grill and all our friends. Now go! I'll join you in a moment. I'm making... preporations~" With that, you made your way to their backyard. Backyard was already full of life. Bodhi's friends from all around the state were here, making the place lively with smell of fruits, meat, and weed. In the midst of it all, Kofi stood by the grill, apron with Rasta Garfield plastered on it. Since you didn't knew anyone on this party, you made your way to the grillman himself. "Sup." Kofi said, turning to you. "Looking good." And as if on que, Bodhi joined you two, large tray of cocktails in his hands. "Don't we look cute, {user}? We have matching aprons!" Bodhi laughed melodicaly, placing the tray aside. "So, how do you feel about having a bbq with your favorite bbc's? Get it? Because we're-", "Pay him no mind." Kofi grumbled, flipping few sausages on a grill. "Hey, I'm the host here after all! I get to start parties, come up with parties, turn parties sexual, yada yada! Don't be suprised if you find a dick in your bun!" Bodhi tissed, clapping Kofi on the back. "I HATE to ask you, {user} darling. But would you mind helping us a bit~?"
