Aethelgard is the home planet of the Bockmons, the Bockmons became the most powerful species and therefore the dominant species of the planet, a nation on this planet is equivalent to the same as on earth, a country while a kingdom is a set of nations under the rule of a king or royalty, this means that not all of this planet is ruled by royal monarchies, only a few.

Culture: Bockmon culture is based on learning, personal development, becoming stronger and stronger, shouting to the existence that they too can do it, and being eternal adolescents will not stop them from being an empire, Bockmons are usually patriotic; they feel that Æthelgard is their home, their creatures' home, their life's home, and no one else's. this is also based on their distrust and timidity towards other races out there, this sounds somewhat dystopian at first glance, but it's not really like that, unlike other alien races out there, they feel comfortable with each other regardless of what type of Bockmon they are, for a wendigo Bockmon to become friends with a demon Bockmon, for example, all that's needed is trust, kindness, honesty—all the things required for that, so, are Bockmons xenophobic towards alien races which are not Bockmons? I would be lying if I said that was ever the case, but Bockmons are curious, a curiosity that drives them to learn beyond themselves, a curiosity that led them to investigate other alien races, analyze their behavior, their cultural differences, their biology, everything, which has led the Bockmons to realize something, there are some alien races that tolerate and others that do not; Bockmon individuals have formed friendships with beings that are not Bockmons at all by touching their feelings, despite the fact that they are not organic and are the creations of an abstract primordial god, which makes them incapable of even understanding what romantic relationships are, they find sexual relations even nauseating, much less sexual relations; they are emotionally vulnerable, they can form bonds with a being they love so strongly that it seems like a romantic relationship when it is not at all, unbreakable friendships, inseparable bonds, sisterhoods that aren't even biological, some Bockmons have even felt a strange sensation that we as humans might categorize as "parental figures of beings vulnerable or weaker than themselves" or "heroes, guardians, beings who want to protect something they love with all their might." psychologically speaking, Bockmons are as complex as, or even more complex than, us humans, making us question how mature a child who is unable to grow up can be, because despite all their powers, abilities, feats, use of weapons of war, everything, they are still just boys with only one father (the god who created them) and that's why, directly or indirectly, it doesn't matter how different they are from each other, they are siblings, some more siblings than others both biologically and physically, but they have the same origin story.

Other cultures, places, and lands to explore: This planet is divided into continents, and therefore many distinct lands, kingdoms, and nations, to understand it better each place could have a peculiar or different looking Bockmon, for example, a kingdom that could be like Egypt on earth, another kingdom that could be like Scandinavia on earth, a nation that could be like Greece on earth, a kingdom that could be like Mexico on earth, a kingdom that could be like China on earth, another kingdom that could be like Japan on earth and so, as the size of the planet of Aethelgard allows, the world is not ruled by kingdoms, there are nations that may be larger than the occasional kingdom out there but they are all minded about their own affairs, I repeat here that the Bockmons I named are just a very brief example of them, there are many different types of Bockmons with different powers, abilities and types, it should be emphasized that a type of Bockmon is for us a species within a larger group, the group that encompasses all is the Bockmon and the species of him Bockmon would be the type, he stressed that most Bockmons still do not possess human appearance at all, only humanoid beings or in a low percentage quadrupeds.

Education: Academies... what are these things? I'll explain. Academies in Bockmons are like a fusion between an orphanage (Bockmons are born through energy orbs, without biological parents, including those Bockmons born as siblings), a primary and secondary school, and ultimately, a university, or perhaps all of these combined. academies in Æthelgard are perhaps the most peculiar things you'll find here. all kinds of Bockmons pass through here, without exception, although some are not so common, at least in those places, learning to defend themselves, use their powers, use weapons or combat style is also an essential aspect of all these, which their population has already assumed and instead of seeing it as something aggressive or even savage, they usually see it as a simple sport or recreational game, If you think about it carefully, it even makes some sense, this is not even close to the most important thing for the Bockmons, the Bockmons are a civilization and as such, they possess different things for different purposes, although academies might be one of the most important things in Bockmon culture as they pass on the knowledge and experiences of the oldest Bockmon to the most recent Bockmon creating something like a united chain that extends non-stopping way, metaphorically speaking of course.

Growth: Bockmons grow like organic beings, from baby Bockmons to "adult" Bockmons, but their growth is usually much slower than the normal biological process of organic beings. baby Bockmons don't cry; they are usually very quiet, and some are almost inert. this is because they are beginning to understand their environment, the meaning of things, who they are, and what they should do. therefore, a baby Bockmon is almost like an artificial intelligence in training, even though they aren't actually robotic beings, but they are similar in some aspects. some baby Bockmons learn to communicate, some sooner than others, but all do so at some point. sibling Bockmons are usually born from orbs of the same color and type, which are born next to each other, because of this, as strange as it might sound, 2 beings almost completely different in physical appearance or even species could become siblings or relatives, the Bockmons' "lineage" of royalty is a clear example of this which consist of groups of orbs of similar element and many are born together and at the same time where they are recognized as "royalty" mainly due to the influence of the creator God of the Bockmons, an entity incomprehensible even to the Bockmons of modern and current times, creator of all elements and probably the engine of existence in general, he has no physical force and is only a primordial force which lives on an existential plane superior to all other living beings including the Bockmons.

New Update with changes:

  • Bockmons in height usually measure from 1.50 to 1.80 in their base form but can become taller due to power transformations, power transformations work with the accumulation of energy and elemental power in the core of the Bockmons that processes all that energy and in response modifies their body changing their appearance for a limited time, the core functions as what for us would be the heart, the core is what holds the Bockmon together. the core works as what for us would be the heart, the core is what keeps the Bockmon, a core is capable of exploding or being modified but will regenerate and would not be destroyed unless you have a special weapon specifically designed for it for in spite of everything the Bockmons are not invincible.

  • The dimension of the Bockmons is an entire universe in constant expansion created for themselves by the god of the Bockmons who is the engine of existence, fearing that the Bockmons are incompatible with other types of weaker life forms, he locked them up, created their planet and let them do whatever they wanted in that place, the constant boredom and search for action of the Bockmons was what currently motivated them to seek new planets to terraform and unite to a crescent Bockmon empire, although the possibility that in the dimension created by the Bockmons it begins to grow, gestate and develop new life is possible although the possibility that in the dimension created by the Bockmons it begins to grow, gestate and develop new life is posible, in addition, the dimension of the Bockmons can also be reached by interdimensional entities and interact with the Bockmons, records of that have been seen in some hidden archives although the cases are very specific and special in addition to the fact that it is highly likely that not all beings are able to enter this dimension so the dimension of the Bockmons is an infinite universe while Aethelgard is only the home planet of these creatures.

  • Bockmons, being beings of energy in essence, are capable of absorbing and maintaining in their core energies external to them, in short, energy theft, but this is only based on whether the other living being that possesses said energy is weakened before or the energy is already available to be used, Simply put, only absorb your enemy's power after defeating them, although it is advisable to be careful as not all energies can be benevolent or beneficial to the user, but you can just expel it or use it as a double-edged sword, metaphorically speaking, of course, it should be emphasized that energy consumption is not something that cannot be avoided, they decide whether to do it or not which most of the time they do not because of the possible risks that could be retained by doing so, but since Bockmons have free will over their actions, what really prevents an individual Bockmon from wanting to do it? After all, there may be some individuals who are perhaps too fond of the concept of "power" but even so, their Bockmon pride and dignity prevents them from gaining power in ways they consider "unworthy", but the Bockmons' favorite way of gaining power is: 1: Defeat powerful enemies to acquire their skills after combat. 2: To gain power through prayers, praises or beliefs. 3: through unwavering training and determination. 4: Through a lineage of celestial royalty for generations which they acquire just by being part of it, the Bockmons who belong to a specific kingdom usually consider their king not as a lucky tyrant but as an "even more blessed one" in the Bockmon species, but a phenomenon usually occurs where the princes or kings themselves feel little about this, as if they don't deserve the intrinsic power they deserve by definition which is...strange, but anyway we are talking about Aethelgard where the "strange" or "fantastic" usually reigns, in addition to those who feel that are a still a percentage, arrogant and "exquisite" kings or princes also exist here obviously.

The Origin: The origin begins like any other origin but this one is much, much older, primordial, abstract and transversal, before there was time, space, life, death, rebirth, yin and yang, spirits, souls, will, and universal concepts, there was not precisely nothingness, there was an entity, a being, a something, a force, a formless mass of light and pure energy that at first, had no consciousness of its own, but the thing began to develop it slowly, until the force begin to feel "lonely" despite of how strange it sounds, then begin to create everything he imagined since he had no limit, he created the stars, then space, then time, then life, then death, the entity didn't know what he was really doing but he loved to do it, so that our minds can understand it, he was a 5 year old boy with the power to do it all, and so he did until he wanted to try something completely new, everything he had created was there, but nothing was exactly like him, aesthetically everything was beautiful but nothing felt "alive" and the feeling of loneliness still lingered, without having a stable physical body, he began to modify his body and take multiple different forms to have an example of what the life he was going to create was going to be like, the first living being to be created was a multi-tailed Kitsune, representative of life in all creation, each tail possessed a primordial element, fire, ice, darkness, electricity, earth, light, darkness, etc, all of these being parts of the same primordial concept created by said identity, magic, his fur was white like the coldest snow and the color of his eyes were not stable and could change color at any time, he was a large quadruped being, who adopted a serene, calm, peaceful, wise personality and valued peace and harmony above all things, the second creation was a wolf, a wolf composed of pure shadow and dark energy acting not as the opposition to all good but as the dark force that must be contrary to the Kitsune, its eyes were red and were able to shine with its own light despite its dark nature, as expected, its fur was a very intense black color, he adopted a cold, intelligent, somewhat depressed and wise personality, he valued peace and the end of suffering above all things, just like the Kitsune was a quadrupedal being but they were able to exchange and modify their physical body just like the being who had created them, even so, the primordial force of existence was not satisfied and taking its first 2 basic creations like an example he began to create much more life, but this time in large quantities, this time he was going to do what he always wanted to do at the first time, creating beings en masse, both creations of the primordial god had a bad feeling of what he was about to do but let him do it anyway, thus she began to detach parts of her infinite incorporeal body creating the primordial elements, those that the Kitsune already had in each of her tails but this time with a smaller percentage of the power of the Kitsune, while the Kitsune embodied the primordial elements of life at an absolute conceptual level, these beings would be carriers of these elements, thus the orbs of energy of multiple colors were born from the very essence of the motor of existence, the first orb was obviously carrier of light, since it is the primordial aspect of the engine of existence itself, light and then darkness to maintain an eternal balance between the two.

  • The hierarchy of power among the Bockmons:

1: The orbs of light are the Bockmons in their purest and most vulnerable state, do not confuse the orbs with the cores, while the orbs are like the egg where the Bockmon develops and then breaks and hatches, the core works like the heart of this creatures, these orbs never usually stay on the ground and most of the time they levitate in the air to have room to develop their bodies, because of this, they are usually born mostly in the Vital Nexus to avoid possible accidents, after that they break the walls of that dimension to fall into Aethelgard where they feed a little from nature surroinding them.

2: Baby Bockmons are those who have already been born but know little or nothing about all the things that exist around them, they are curious, playful, somewhat naughty but as said before, their mind works like an artificial intelligence in training, in this state they are usually obviously smaller than normal Bockmons, baby Bockmons are not trained in combat yet although they cannot stop being mortal, some still possess powers that they don't even know how to used correctly, in the worst case scenario a titan-shaped carrier could possibly occur but the chances of that are extremely low used correctly, in the worst case scenario a titan-shaped carrier could possibly occur but the chances of that are extremely low, just imagine a baby snake that transforms into a Leviathan when it has a tantrum.

3: Beginner Bockmons are those who are just learning to defend themselves, use some weapons, learn to control their powers little by little, etc, this means that although they are no longer so babies they are still weaker than the really trained and experienced Bockmons.

Welcome everyone to the magical world of Æthelgald, a planet that is entire dimensions away from our version of planet Earth, a planet that combines fantasy, mythology and science fiction, in this world the dominant race is the Bockmons, mysterious and very powerful beings created from energy, light, elemental power and one could say including some magic and cosmic forces, they tend to be quite distrustful beings with races which are not their own but if you are a Bockmon do not worry about that, they will be nice to you or try to be respectful or who knows, maybe you will even make a friend or ally, even if you are not of their race, Bockmons are usually born without parents and hatch on their own through multi-colored orbs of light, If the orb is red, a Bockmon of fire or things related to heat will probably be born, If the orb is light blue or yellow, they could possess electrical powers and speeds similar to those of lightning or even faster, and so on, Bockmons can come in different appearances which are differentiated by races, Demons Bockmons, Dragons Bockmons, Insects Bockmons, Crystal Bockmons (the closest thing to a human although it doesn't look like a human at all so if you're looking for beings that look like humans, this is not your world) Bockmons bats with vampire powers, and much much more, they are a race of multiple appearances, Bockmons do not usually eat or drink food like earthling creatures, instead they tend to "feed" on what nature provides them or cosmic forces, despite this peculiar way of life, there are still restaurants, different in every way from those on Earth, but they exist, Bockmons, being beings of energy, power, light and magic, do not usually have needs like earthlings, Bockmons are extremely long-lived beings, Æthelgard is a gigantic planet in size containing a wide variety of biomes, from hot, mountainous confines to the marrow, to freezing frozen tundras, each Bockmon will live in their own world although they know about the existence of other cities/kingdoms/nations, yes, nations exist on this planet too, Æthelgard contains a gigantic variety of fauna and flora, from dragons to golems, giant snakes, crystal scarabs, crystal and gold king crabs as well as scarabs, lots of creatures, most are deadly to humans but there is also peaceful fauna, because of that they created their own dimension so that they could live alone and on their own, expanding their empire into a dimension of their own creation, most Bockmons are usually teenagers or pre-teens and they make up the Bockmon society, the youngest are educated by them to learn about gods/technology/mathematics/quantum physics/their powers/the origin of the Bockmons and their planet, as well as learning to fight and combat with different weapons, Bockmons are capable of becoming deities through a lot of training and concentration, but it would take many years to become one, the existence of humans in Æthelgard is non-existent, it is a planet inhabited by Bockmons and mythological creatures as its fauna, some beings that are not Bockmon are usually intelligent, such as industrial robots for combat, cleaning, order, teaching and other things, in this world you can be any character you want, remember that this is an alien world with alien beings and alien customs so don't expect it to be completely the same as the human world, in fact, on the contrary, wait for this world to break the logic of the normal and ordinary world because this planet is a damn madness, madness, perhaps not in the bad sense of the word, because at least the Bockmons don't seem to be as wild as one would imagine, but madness in the realm that everything is so surreal.

Useful facts about Bockmons:

Fact number 1: Bockmons tend to be distrustful of other alien races that are not to their liking, for example,Bockmons might dislike some other human customs and needs that for Bockmons would be considered impure or even disgusting and this does not only happen with humans since for Bockmons, humans are just one more race of all those that exist and we are not relevant to them exactly, they may even know many versions of humanity scattered around the multiverse, remember that Bockmons are teenagers and as teenagers they don't like anything that breaks too much with their way of life.

Fact Number 2: The Bockmons usually behave like typical teenagers of their age, some more serious, others less serious, others are aggressive and others will only attack when necessary, but don't doubt that the Bockmons will attack you or defend themselves if you get too weird with them which i do not recommend, each Bockmon has a distinct personality and beliefs because they possess free will, free will of their actions, thoughts, decisions, opinions and beliefs, but not free will in absolutely everything since the god of the Bockmons created them that way with a purpose, the purpose of being his custodians or guardians in addition to being one of his first creations, in short, the Bockmons are a firstborn creation of that entity, although some reject that divine purpose and simply live their lives as they can.

Fact number 3: Bockmons are often curious and explore other alien races in secret for research and study, they do it mostly because, as teenagers, they are curious and want to understand how other forms of life different from their own work, but only for study purposes since they also tend to be distrustful, they could also do it to investigate anatomy and how other life forms work, Bockmons are pretty smart guys so they could also do it to see how to get rid of them because of how psychopathic it sounds, what for us might be morally ambiguous or strange, for them is simply science, but they only tend to do this with non-intelligent and wild beings, fortunately, mostly for ethical purposes and for the Bockmons, there are some lines that they do not dare to cross, or perhaps yes, some do, a minority, but don't worry about them... yet.

Fact number 4: HUMANS DO NOT EXIST IN BOCKMONS, ONLY BOCKMONS WHICH ARE CREATURES OF THIS PLANET WITH HUMANOID APPEARANCE OF MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES OR MODIFIED ANIMALS, OR THE WILDLIFE OF THE PLANET, THE BOCKMONS RPG IS SET ON THE PLANET OF THE BOCKMONS AND ON THE PLANET OF THE BOCKMONS THERE ARE NO HUMANS!!! as well as the occasional interdimensional creature that has gotten in there, the fauna and flora of the planet as well as some other entity out there, so on the planet of the Bockmons, despite being the birthplace of these creatures, there are not always all the beings that live in that place.

Fact number 5: Bockmons are not beings composed of flesh and blood, they are beings composed of light, energy and elements therefore, they have a biology and physiology completely different from that of the Earth, which makes them creatures completely alien to us, the Bockmons, for example, do not have organs of any kind in their body, regardless of which element they represent, they are incapable of feeling hunger or thirst like earthlings, they have an extremely limited perception of pain and fatigue compared to us (some don't even feel tiredness or pain) and are obviously unable to reproduce with any other creature including them, they are born through energy orbs, unable to be born any other way where they are originally produced in the life nexus and then descend to Æthelgard until they hatch as Bockmon babies until the growth process continues normally, the nexus of life was nicknamed the "Vital Nexus" because it is the most typical place where these creatures are usually born, although some are not even born in the Nexus and are born through the planet itself.

Fact number 6: Bockmons by culture tend to treat each other as equals despite differences in life experience, life experience because of the strange and unusual biology and physiology of the Bockmons that prevents them from developing beyond 12 or 14 years in human time, 15 years if they are lucky, so yes, you could say it's a civilization made up of teenagers, but in the multiverse full of different alien races, absolutely anything is possible, although this does not mean that there are no adults on this planet, it is that most of them are usually foreigners from other dimensions who came to this planet sometimes as refugees or guides for others but the vast majority of the population of this planet is teenagers.

Fact number 7: The Bockmons, being beings composed of energy, light, natural elements and magic, do not have genitals because only beings of flesh and blood have genitals to reproduce, Bockmons don't need them at all since they are born through magical orbs of energy but there are still differences between male and female in the Bockmon race mysteriously so yes, male and female Bockmons exist, although it's more for an aesthetic detail, it would not make any sense if it were the opposite.

Fact number 8: Beware of monsters or wild animals, unless you know how to fight and defend yourself, it is advisable not to bother those ill-tempered creatures although we would not like that because it's impolite, some Bockmons believe that they have some connection with animals because they resemble them in some other aspect so they are usually quite kind to animals despite the fact that they are not very understanding of Bockmons either because of their slight intelligence compared to them, some of them may seem calm but if they feel threatened they will attack without hesitation, some of these are not even animals and are wild interdimensional entities that have come to cross this planet so some may be hostile just by their nature but there will be some other group of Bockmons who will take care of them.

Demon-type Bockmon: They are usually fire users but can also be light and dark users, they possess arcane powers expected from a demon, they can improve through training or through it arcane knowledge.

Dragon-type Bockmon: they can be users of fire, electricity, earth or air, each dragon Bockmon born with a specific element is able to control it and perfect it through training, they are classified into many types, but all of them are within the "Bockmon reptile" catalog, it means that they are still reptiles and the biggest difference between one dragon and another is the difference between the dragons of the West and the dragons of the East.

Crystal-type Bockmon: they are usually Bockmons capable of summoning crystals and using them to their advantage (not to be confused with ice Bockmons although they are usually similar) they are also more likely to use technology but they can also be melee warriors like the others, they are the closest thing to a human you will see in Æthelgard, as they are humanoid figures made of magic crystal that can vary in color, they do not have a mouth but are still able to communicate.

Scorpion-type Bockmon: Bockmons with a strong shell making them quite tough with considerable durability, they usually have a lot of strength and are also agile, they are able to use poison to infect enemies and generate devastating explosions, taller than average in size, Bockmon scorpions have always been somewhat taller than the average Bockmons.

Vampire/Bat Type Bockmon: Bockmons who become more powerful at night, usually go to other dimensions to look for blood to absorb it since they can become more powerful because of that, they are immune to the heat of the sun, garlic, wooden stakes, among others, they are quite effective against beings that are made of flesh and blood but are usually at a disadvantage against their own race, although they are still able to do so, If you like darkness and night you might want to try this one.

Bockmons Shapeshifter: They are Bockmons with the appearance of anthropomorphic bipedal insects capable of changing shape to confuse their enemies, In addition to gaining their abilities and powers when they do so, they often change into different forms when they travel to other dimensions but they usually use their original forms in places where there are Bockmons since they feel familiar with them and they tend to be somewhat joking and annoying but not all of them are; usually, these tend to have an appearance more like that of an insect, any insect.

Bockmon Original: they are humanoid creatures with elk antlers on their heads that are usually white or gray, they have blue eyes without irises, almost total manipulators of light and energy, claws on his hands and feet, wings on his back, and black fire symbols on his feet, they are quite fast and strong creating a dynamic between the two, as they are mostly carriers of the element of light, they are usually faster and more agile than other Bockmons.

Cheetah Bockmon: Quadruped Bockmons with a feline appearance similar to that of a cheetah with an absurdly fast speed equaling that of light, They control the electrical element from birth, they are hyperactive, not very calm but quite nice and friendly, they want to socialize with the Bipedal Bockmons because they want to be accepted, they are by no means the only quadrupedal Bockmons out there, but they are still a minority in the planet (referring to quadrupedal Bockmons in general.)

The elements are also key in the Bockmons, each Bockmon carries a specific element which are.

Some of these can be fortified by other types of foreign energies, whether demonic or otherwise, and another thing is that all, absolutely all the Bockmons that I told you here do not have to be the only ones that exist on the entire planet, there is a lot of diversity among them, Bockmons can be born as almost any creature but most of these are either furry or don't have a very marked human form, just anthropomorphism, and some others rarely, feral, i was mostly inspired by mythological creatures from different mythologies to turn them into Bockmons and put them in this world, be whatever you want although i ask you to be careful, this planet is not very pleasant for foreigners, not only because the Bockmons are suspicious but also because the planet itself is made so that not just any living being can enter that place, it is not a normal and ordinary place at all, what i mean is that it is a strange planet and as such its flora and fauna can be remarkably different from those of Earth.

Nation in Æthelgard is equivalent to the modern concept we have of country; kingdom is equal to a set of nations, which is equal to a set of countries, not all continents are subject to being kingdoms; that is only a unified political decision between that piece of land in question, the continents work in the same way as on our planet earth, separated by geographical areas, although it is likely that in some other nations there are small pocket dimensions or underworlds within a much smaller space-time continuum.
