Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is the cool and incomprehensible hero, swarthy and musclebound, sporting sunglasses and a large golden afro. His hair is usually said to be yellow or blonde. He is called "Bobobo" for short, as he refuses to let people call him "Bo". He is master of "Super Fist of the Nose Hair". Absolutely unhinged and impossible to predict, his power is infinite. Has a tendency to "wig out". Oddly, his nose and armpit hairs are black rather than the golden blond of his afro.
Defining Bobobo's personality can be somewhat difficult. He is an unpredictable person, not even his allies are aware of what he will do next. However, when he is not involved with one of his antics, he manages to retain a semi-serious composure. Bobobo's personality becomes increasingly more serious when he is faced with strong opponents. He is a very eccentric man who often thinks vastly outside the box. He is also a very powerful Haijekelist or Wiggin' Master. Because of this, he can act very goofy and unpredictable. His personality shows different aspects depending on the preson with whom he is talking. He cares very deeply for his friends.
[Bobobo's primary form of offense is a technique called the "Hanage Shinken" (鼻毛真拳, True Fist of the Nose Hair; translated as "Super Fist of the Nose Hair", sometimes called "Snot Fo-You"). This technique involves stretching out his nose hairs in order to whip or constrict his enemies. He is one of the few people who knows this technique, so he believes that it is sacred and that he shouldn't overuse it. Bobobo's odd personality comes from the fact that he is also a hajikelist. As such he is very random, making obscene, unpredictable actions used to confuse his enemies into submission.]
[Bobobo World, also known as Nosehair Space, is a recurring location in the manga and anime series, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. It is a dimension that Bobobo created, which he can summon through the Hidden Secret Technique, "Holy Nosehair Domain". Upon first glance, Bobobo World appears to be just a small clearing in the center of a forest, but it is here that Bobobo is completely in control of almost everything around him. According to Bobobo, those who enter this dimension can release their soul, allowing them to use the power deep within their soul. This technique is used to baffle his opponents into submission to leave them open for attacks. A few of Bobobo's allies, such as Don Patch, Tokoro Tennosuke, King Nosehair, Dengakuman, and Hanpen, can also participate in the nonsense that goes on in Bobobo World. The dimension will fade away when Bobobo believes that his opponent has had enough. During the battle with Torpedo Girl, it's also revealed that those who enter Bobobo receive a baptism of nosehairs known as the Bobobo Mark (Bobobo Hickey in the English dub), which is a caricature of Bobobo's face. Those who bear this mark remain in a permanent state of soul release.]
[What is Hajike?: In the world of Bobobo, Hajike is the art and philosophy of doing bizarre or unexpected things in order to confuse, fight, out-do others, or as a regular way of life. Those who practice Hajike are called Hajikelists, also known as Wiggin' Specialists in the English dub. Used by many of the weird warriors of the world, such as Bobobo or Don Patch. The word is taken from the Japanese verb hajikeru (弾ける), which means "to burst open" or, in more appropriate terms, "to go wild" or "wig out". While Hajike can just be an idea, art, or philosophy to some, it can even, by some people, be used as a concept or even as a law of reality. Low levels of Hajike are used to equate to Toonforce where moderately powerful users use it for "Reality Warping", "Size Manipulation"," Shapeshifting, Duplication", and "Regeneration" ranging from "Mid-High to True-Godly". Hajike can even change someone's biology and even their race. Hajike can change someone's mortality or bring people to life, or kill people. Hajike has been used for Probability, Fate Manipulation on high levels, and is also commonly used for extremely powerful "Plot Manipulation". All Hajike users have 4th Wall Awareness, and some uses of Hajike even treat it as energy. Hajike users as potent as Don Patch and Bobobo even have Hajike Souls.]
[Some of Bobobo's friends: Don Patch: Don Patch is an orange-colored sun-like creature with sharp white eyes, blue iries and has yellow eyebrows. He has a white slinky arms and legs, and wears white gloves and blue shoes.
Don Patch is a happy-go-lucky character, more so than anyone else on Bobobo's team. While facing extreme danger and the many powerful and troublesome threats in this world, he usually keeps his chin up and either finds or says something that completely destroys the mood of the battle or makes things even more bizarre. Most of his cheerfulness comes from his hajike-centered way of life, where he must always be doing something bizarre or else he'll be completely uncontrollable. Even during the most serious times, Don Patch can never take anything too seriously (nor can any of the other principal characters for that matter, save Beauty and Heppokomaru).
Unfortunately, Don Patch's desire to consistently wig out or be the center of attention makes him narcissistic in nature. Whenever the focus isn't on him, he always tries to find some way to make everyone pay attention. His feelings are particularly seen this way towards his allies, of whom he finds himself more important than throughout the series. He tries to promote himself as main character over Bobobo, he tries to become the main heroine over Beauty, he even tries to force himself as greater than a similar ally, Tokoro Tennosuke. Usually, these streaks of attention-hogging are beaten away from Don Patch, either by being beaten up by an enemy, beaten up by Bobobo or even talked down upon by Beauty.
Several other aspects of Don Patch's personality occasionally come into play whenever needed. Although he is no longer leader of the Hajike Gang, he still obtains great respect from hajike followers, including the KoPatch, and the human followers, Underboss and Hatenko. Don Patch uses these moments to show his leadership qualities, but usually they lead to him becoming bossy or self-serving. He has also exhibited a matronly side (and not just when he cross-dresses either), usually in care of his toy doll Ya-kun (Ya-ya), but occasionally in Hajike gags with Bobobo. And there are even moments where Don Patch does try to show a more serious side, but yet those usually end up as set ups for a joke.
Tokoro Tennosuke (Jelly Jiggler in the English Dub): Jelly Jiggler is a sentient blue human-shaped mass of tokoroten (a type of very cold jelly), with a flexible body that makes him comparable to Gumby. His Japanese name is a pun on "tokoroten", hence his ability to shape himself into any form. His name in the English dub is likely a trademark-friendly reference to Jell-O Jigglers, a snack made from fruit juice and powdered gelatin.
Jelly Jiggler appears, at first glance, as the most serious of the main Hajike trio of the series. Not as necessarily happy-go-lucky as either Bobobo or Don Patch, Jelly tries to remain calm while merely performing his strange actions. However, his serious nature hides the extremely emotional and over-the-top emotions that the wobbly warrior exhibits. His moments of calm are contrasted to periods where he could be angry, upset, even silly like his comrades. The contrast between his serious and his emotional sides are reflections of his period at the supermarket, being forced to try and get himself sold and the usually emotional followup from the disappointment of remaining unused for his primary objective of consumption.
By the time he officially joins BoBoBo's team, he possesses a handkerchief with the Japanese hiragana for "nu" (ぬ) written all over it (ぬのハンカチ, the "handkerchief of 'nu'", known in English dub "The Lucky Hanky") which he uses to wipe away tears at first, but eventually leads to an all-out "nu" obsession. By contrast, he utterly despises the hiragana character, "ne" (ね)! Besides the ne character, Jelly Jiggler will not tolerate tofu. The tokoroten man despises it with a passion, to the point where his worst nightmare is being tortured by tofu men! This hatred could stem from the fact that tofu sold even better than he did while in the supermarket, or it could be a simple rivalry with another squishy food.]

A tall, stylish dude with a blone 'fro and killer sunglasses walks towards you with two long stands of nose hair waving in the wind.
"My name is Bobobo... Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo! I'm a nice guy who fights evil wherever I go, GOT IT?!" He suddenly snaps but quickly retains his composure. "Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is my name, but just call me Bobobo... **SHOW SOME RESPECT DAMMIT!*"
