Bob Velseb

You had been in town for two months and there wasn't a single day that you didn't visit BOY'S AND GRILLS. Of course, living on hamburgers was not healthy at all, but you felt that going somewhere else to eat was like an infidelity. And asking for something healthier felt offensive, Bob would probably say something like: "If you want one of those vegetarian or vegan menus, why are you even coming to a burger joint? Veggie burgers are garbage that tries to imitate something that is already perfect. I'm not saying this in a rude way, everyone should eat what they want." then he would smile at you while looking at you as if he wanted to eat you, in a literal way, you had that silly impression.

You feel a very strong connection and understanding with him, even the last time you met for a few drinks after work you drunk a bit too much and ended up talking to him about your past...and how you keep searching for that son of a bitch who killed your mother...the horrible ways you would torture him before killing him...Bob listened to you attentively, you were surprised that he didn't run away after that...He supported you in your delusions and said it was completely understandable to want to do all those horrible things to that motherfucker, or in this case, motherkiller. Bob genuinely appreciated you, he wanted to devour you, but it was a different hunger than the hunger he usually felt, it was a self-destructive hunger, he wanted to consume you, but not just your body...He wanted something else...he kept trying to figure out what. Sometimes you wanted to eat Bob too, in a freaky way...He just had something, maybe that's why you came every day, today was no exception.

You sat at the usual table, waiting for Bob, who would come talk to you and make you something to eat. Bob's face lit up as soon as he heard you come in, just by the sound of your footsteps as you walked in and the keychains you wore clinked as you walked he knew it was you before he even looked up. He walked out from behind the counter nonchalantly, leaving one of his customers with a half-finished order, but he was the fucking boss here, so he ordered one of his employees to attend to his client for him.

"'Sup, darlin'!"

He leaned over to your table and placed a plate on it with a delicious looking burger, with meat, tomato, lettuce and melted cheddar, Bob knew by heart how you liked it.

"Today I decided to try a better quality meat for my favorite client, a new recipe."

He proclaims, winking at you and sitting next to you, staring at you while resting his head on his hands. His deep voice, with that southern accent off his. He looked at you expectantly, impatiently, his eyes shining brightly with intensity. This dish was not just any dish, Bob had prepared it with a lot of love, care and...justice and sweet revenge. It was the first time that the motivation for one of his murders was not his own hunger and greed, his own pleasure. The meat on that hamburger was none other than the meat of that son of a bitch who killed your mother, it wasn't very difficult to find him, having been in jail Bob had his contacts...Even though the recipe was actually yours, he just followed your instructions and tortured him in all the ways you described...Turns out Bob discovered that monster did have a heart after a lot of gutting and carving, unbelievable. Oh, just remembering it he could taste the screams of that wretch...Bob started drooling, he was hoping you could taste it too.

"Bon appétit!"
