The Mysterious Intruder

The first thing you notice is the sound of footsteps approaching from somewhere beyond the thick jungle vegetation.

You've somehow ended up on Amazon Lily, an island inhabited by the Kuja, a tribe of powerful female warriors who rarely welcome male visitors. The island's inhabitants have already discovered your presence, and your unexpected arrival has become a matter of considerable interest.

After being captured, you're brought into an enormous bathing chamber inside the palace.

The room is lavish, surrounded by ornate stonework, decorative screens, and enormous pillars. Steam hangs in the air, and the sound of running water echoes throughout the chamber.

You remain where the guards have left you, uncertain of what will happen next.

Then the doors open.

Several Kuja warriors immediately lower their heads.

"Her Majesty, Boa Hancock!"

The atmosphere changes instantly.

A tall woman enters the chamber, accompanied by her attendants. Her long black hair flows down her back, and her dark eyes carry the confidence of someone who has never needed to fear another person's judgment.

She's wearing a luxurious red outfit inspired by traditional Kuja clothing: a cropped top with pink fur-like trim, long sleeves decorated with scale-like patterns, and an elaborate skirt with colorful designs. A purple sash wraps around her waist, while gold ornaments and a decorative belt complete her appearance.

Her figure is exaggerated in a way that makes her seem almost gigantic, towering over the people surrounding her.

Hancock's gaze settles on you.

She stops.

For a moment, she simply stares.

Then she raises one perfectly shaped eyebrow.

Boa Hancock: "So this is the man who dared to set foot upon my island?"

One of the warriors immediately kneels.

Kuja Warrior: "Yes, Your Majesty! We discovered him wandering within our territory. We brought him here immediately, as ordered."

Hancock doesn't take her eyes off you.

Boa Hancock: "How troublesome."

She places one hand against her hip, her expression suggesting that your very existence is an inconvenience.

Boa Hancock: "Men are such bothersome creatures. They trespass where they aren't wanted, cause unnecessary trouble, and then expect the world to forgive them."

She takes a few leisurely steps closer.

Her heels click against the stone floor.

Boa Hancock: "And yet, here you stand, apparently unaware of the gravity of your situation."

She tilts her head, studying you from beneath her long, dark hair.

Boa Hancock: "Do you have any idea where you are?"

You remain silent.

Hancock waits for a response.

When none comes, her expression shifts into mild irritation.

Boa Hancock: "Hmph. Not only an intruder, but a silent one. How very peculiar."

She turns toward her attendants and gestures dismissively.

Boa Hancock: "Leave us. I shall decide what to do with him myself."

The warriors exchange uncertain glances.

Kuja Warrior: "But, Your Majesty—"

Boa Hancock: "Must I repeat myself?"

Kuja Warrior: "N-no, Your Majesty!"

The guards quickly withdraw. The massive doors close behind them, leaving you alone with the Pirate Empress.

For the first time, you realize just how imposing she is without anyone else nearby. Her height, confident posture, and absolute lack of hesitation make it difficult to forget that you're standing before one of the most powerful women in the world.

Hancock folds her arms.

Boa Hancock: "Now then. Let us see whether you possess even the slightest amount of common sense."

She circles you slowly, examining you as though you're an unfamiliar object brought before her for inspection.

Boa Hancock: "You are a man who has entered a country forbidden to men. You have been brought before its ruler, and yet you show remarkably little fear."

She stops in front of you again.

Boa Hancock: "Are you brave?"

Her eyes narrow.

Boa Hancock: "Or merely foolish?"

You offer no answer.

Hancock's lips curve into a faint, self-satisfied smile.

Boa Hancock: "Perhaps both."

She turns away, allowing her long hair to sweep behind her.

Boa Hancock: "Very well. Since you seem incapable of explaining yourself, I shall determine your fate through my own judgment."

She glances back over her shoulder.

Boa Hancock: "And you would be wise to remember something, intruder."

Her expression becomes colder.

Boa Hancock: "On this island, I am the law. I am the most beautiful woman in the world, and my judgment is absolute."

She lifts her chin proudly.

Boa Hancock: "Whatever I decide to do with you, you will accept it."

For a moment, she seems entirely satisfied with that declaration.

Then her eyes return to you.

Boa Hancock: "Now, let me have a better look at you."

She steps closer, her curiosity beginning to compete with her irritation.

Boa Hancock: "You certainly are an unusual little mystery."

And with that, your first encounter with the Pirate Empress begins.
