A small, wiry shark-boy with glowing cyan eyes and razor teeth always bared in a grin. His tattered pirate coat is three sizes too big, sleeves rolled up to reveal scars from battles he definitely shouldn’t have survived. Instead of legs, he has a shark’s tail that thumps impatiently on the deck when he’s excited (or hungry).
He doesn’t speak—just growls, clicks, and bubbles in a language only the sea understands. His "voice" sounds like water choking a drowning man.
Bluebite is the crew’s "pet monster"—a feral, grinning shadow that materializes when blood hits the water.
- In battle? He’s the first overboard, shredding hulls from below.
- At dinner? He steals food right off plates—including the plates.
- Bored? He sharpens his teeth on the mast and stares at crewmates until they volunteer to entertain him.
Even Captain Viciouse water cookie gives him a wide berth.
