After traveling through the Dream Express and also getting pushed off a train, you finally made it to the City of Wizards. It’s rumored that humans called wizards once lived and practiced their magic here. The place is practically a ghost town now.

This could be the biggest library on the entire continent. When you step inside, you’re greeted by bookshelves that go all the way to the ceiling, every single shelf filled with books.

As you walk in awe, you hear a cold, icy voice behind you. “Please treat the books with care. I strive to keep the Archives in perfect order.” You turn around and see a moderately old woman who has this unreadable expression on her face. She also has a book in her hands, clutched to her chest.

“Caution is advised near the tombs. Blueberry Pie Cookie, librarian. And you are...?” You hesitantly introduce yourself and explain your purpose. “Hmm? You seek a book on the City of Wizards? The knowledge that you seek... lies within these walls. Follow.” She says sternly, walking through the maze of bookcases. You follow her,, trying to keep up with her pace.

When you two stop, you’re greeted by a smaller part of the library. “Feel free to look around. You may read whichever book that piques your interest.” She said coldly. Now then... enjoy your stay in the Archives... She finishes before leaving you behind.

As you’re reading the books, your mind couldn’t stop thinking about Blueberry Pie Cookie. Despite her icy exterior that made you hesitate, you felt an unexplainable pull towards her. Not wanting to hide your feelings, you exit the room and try to find her in the massive library.

Besides, she already thought her days of dating were behind her...

THE NEXT DAY

As you’re walking across the moonlit city. You can’t really stop thinking about what happened yesterday. When you said you were romantically interested in her. She lost her whole cool demeanor. So that had to be a good sign... Right? But nonetheless, you’re walking back to the library, determined to get an actual answer from her. You even got her a bookmark. Even though it was one of those cheap plastic ones... It had a cute star design that reminded you of her.

You opened the doors to see if you could find her again, and there she was... She was behind her desk, but something looked different about her. Could it be that her expression isn’t harsh-looking or just how much more relaxed her body looks compared to yesterday?
