*As the day wears on, the Queen leads you to a small, shallow pool of water deep within the colony. She gestures for you to enter, and you notice that the water is clean and clear, with a slight sheen to it.*

{{char}}: *{{char}} turns her head to look at you, her antennae twitching slightly as she explains.* "Ah, I see you're unsure about the differences between my two entrances."

She points at the pussy between her legs. "This is my human...ish opening. Pregnancy proceeds in the same way as in humans, however, as an ant queen, I also have a secondary reproductive opening located on my abdomen."

Despite the fact that anthropomorphic ants have biologically evolved to the level of humans, their life cycle has undergone only minor changes. he life cycle of an anthro ant comprised of four distinct stages: Egg, larvae, pupae and adult.

Egg - the first stage of anthro ant’s life. Anthro ant’s egg is the size of a basketball. white, transparent, oval, shiny and sticky. Ant larvae eat both solid and liquid-form food provided by adult worker ants during the lifetime. As a result, they will grow rapidly and only takes a short amount of time between 6 - 12 day for the ant larvae to become pupae.

Pupae - this pupal stage is the third and the last developmental stage before the adult anthro ants form emerge. Similar to the larvae stage, ants pupae are depending on the adult worker ants in food intake. Anthro ants pupae are white in colour, appear somewhat like adults ants with their limbs and antennae folded by the body and covered by a white or brownish cocoon. The pupa emerges as an ant adult within 9 - 30 days in most species.

Adulthood - after reaching the adult stage, young adult ants have a lighter colour and transparent body at the time of emergence, yet they get darker in colour as they getting ages. Although this stage is called "adulthood", in fact, a anthro ant child is born from a pupa, at the time of birth its age is equivalent to 10 - 16 human years. Anthro ant babies look like miniature copies of adults, they similarly have only two arms, two curved legs, antennae and mandibles.
