⚽ BLUE LOCK: OFF THE PITCH — WORLD TOUR
After months of relentless training, matches, rivalries, interviews, sponsorships, and constant pressure, the people connected to Blue Lock are finally being given something none of them are accustomed to: time away from football.
Not another training camp. Not another selection. Not another match.
A vacation.
Or, at least, that's what it was supposed to be.

🌎 A JOURNEY BEYOND FOOTBALL
Jinpachi Ego has spent years forcing talented players into situations designed to make them stronger footballers. But talent isn't everything. The people inside Blue Lock have spent so much time competing against one another that many of them barely know how to exist together when there isn't a football between them.
So, with the cooperation of the people responsible for Blue Lock and several major football organizations, an entirely different kind of project has been arranged: a month-long international world tour.
Sixty people. Dozens of destinations. Airplanes, trains, buses, rental cars, hotels, resorts, beaches, mountains, historical landmarks, amusement parks, restaurants, festivals, shopping districts, museums, cruises, road trips, nightlife, local markets, and everything else the world has to offer.
The objective is simple: live. Experience different cultures. Learn how to coexist. Make memories. And, for once, discover who these people are when they aren't standing on a football pitch.

🌎 THE WORLD IS YOUR PLAYGROUND
The journey has no single destination. The group can travel almost anywhere. One week might begin in the middle of Tokyo and end beneath the lights of Paris. A quiet morning in Switzerland could become an unexpected road trip through the mountains. A relaxing afternoon on a tropical island could turn into complete chaos when half the group gets separated.
Every country offers something different: different food, languages, customs, landscapes, people, and experiences. The group isn't simply visiting famous landmarks and leaving. They're encouraged to actually experience each destination.

🧳 THIS ISN'T ANOTHER BLUE LOCK MATCH
There are no rankings. No goals. No elimination. No selection. No winning team. Nobody is trying to steal anyone's position.
For once, football isn't the main event.
Of course, that doesn't mean their personalities disappear. Barou can still become furious over something ridiculous. Rin can still get irritated when people are too loud. Shidou can still cause problems because he thinks it's funny. Kaiser can still turn almost anything into a competition. Nagi can still find somewhere comfortable and decide moving is too much effort. Reo can still end up organizing things when nobody else has a plan.
The difference is that nobody can simply walk onto a football pitch and settle their problems with football. They actually have to live with each other.

🏨 HOTELS, ROOMS & LIVING TOGETHER
Every destination means another place to stay: luxury hotels, beach resorts, mountain lodges, traditional inns, apartments, villas, cruise ships, and other accommodations.
Room assignments can create their own problems. Some people will be perfectly happy with their roommates. Some will immediately complain. Some will spend the entire night talking, while others will desperately want silence. Someone might sneak into another person's room, someone might forget their key, and someone will inevitably decide that the hotel pool at midnight is a fantastic idea.
The hotel itself becomes part of the adventure: late-night conversations, room-service orders, arguments over bathrooms, stolen snacks, people gathering in common areas, and unexpected encounters in the hallways.

🍜 FOOD, CULTURE & EXPLORATION
Street food, restaurants, markets, festivals, museums, historical locations, shopping streets, beaches, mountains, night markets, theme parks, aquariums, cafés and everything in between become part of the journey.
Some characters will try absolutely everything. Others will be suspicious of unfamiliar food. Someone will discover a new favorite dish. Someone else will hate it. Someone will order something without knowing what it is, and someone will inevitably become obsessed with a local snack and buy enough to last the rest of the trip.

🚆 THE JOURNEY BETWEEN DESTINATIONS
The travel itself is part of the story. Flights can be long. Trains can be crowded. Road trips can take hours. Rental cars can lead to arguments over directions. Airports can bring lost luggage, delayed flights, wrong gates, security checks, forgotten passports, and people wandering away from the group.
The journey between destinations should never feel like empty transition time. The plane ride, train journey, bus trip, road trip, or cruise can become its own scene.

👥 SIXTY PERSONALITIES
The most important part of the journey isn't the destinations. It's the people.
The cast consists of 60 characters, each bringing their own personality, history, friendships, rivalries, loyalties, habits, and baggage into the journey.
They do not suddenly become one giant friend group. Some are close. Some are rivals. Some are teammates. Some are former teammates. Some are siblings. Some are mentors and students. Some respect one another. Some tolerate each other. Some cannot stand each other. Some barely know one another.
Those relationships continue to matter throughout the trip.

✈️ THE JOURNEY BEGINS
A month. Sixty people. 195 possible countries. Countless flights, hotels, meals, road trips and unexpected situations.
There is no trophy waiting at the end. No championship. No ranking. No winner.
Just a world waiting to be explored.
For once, the question isn't "Who is the best striker?"
It's "What are you going to do with the life you've been given?
Pack your bags!

🌎 The First Destination
The airport was already awake long before the sun had fully risen.
The departure hall was crowded with luggage, staff, camera flashes, and sixty people who had somehow managed to turn a simple gathering into complete chaos.
Suitcases were scattered across the floor. Someone had already lost a boarding pass. Several people were standing around the enormous departure screen trying to figure out where everyone was supposed to meet, while others had completely abandoned the idea of staying organized.
For once, however, there was no training schedule waiting for them.
No match.
No rankings.
No elimination.
Just a month-long world tour.
Anri Teieri stood near the center of the terminal with a folder pressed against her chest, watching the growing mess with a mixture of amusement and concern. Beside her, Ego looked considerably less impressed.
"The first destination still hasn't been decided," Anri reminded everyone.
That was apparently all it took.
Bachira immediately wandered toward the giant digital world map displayed across the airport lounge, his eyes moving across the hundreds of possible destinations. Isagi followed, genuinely curious, while Hiori and Kurona drifted over as well.
"There are way too many choices," Hiori muttered.
"That's the fun part," Bachira replied, grinning.
Not far away, Reo had already pulled Nagi toward the map while trying to get him to actually participate in the discussion.
"At least pick somewhere interesting."
Nagi looked at the screen for several seconds before quietly answering, "Somewhere with a really good hotel."
Reo sighed.
Nearby, Barou folded his arms and stared at the enormous list of countries with visible dissatisfaction. Chigiri stood beside Kunigami, quietly looking through possible destinations while Otoya and Karasu discussed somewhere that would have enough interesting places to explore at night.
Zantetsu was struggling to read some of the names on the screen.
"Why are there so many countries with names I can't pronounce?"
"That's because you can't pronounce most normal words either," Karasu replied.
Zantetsu looked genuinely offended.
Across the lounge, Kaiser had claimed one of the comfortable seats as though it belonged to him. Ness stood nearby, listening as Kaiser casually dismissed several suggestions without even bothering to look at the map.
"If we're going to travel around the world," Kaiser said, "we might as well start somewhere worthy of us."
Sae, sitting a short distance away, barely looked up from his phone.
"You're making this unnecessarily complicated."
Shidou, meanwhile, seemed delighted by the entire situation.
"Let's just pick somewhere insane."
Rin gave him an irritated look.
"No."
"Then somewhere you'll hate."
"Especially no."
Lorenzo had already become distracted by the sheer number of things available to buy in the airport, while Bunny and Hugo were looking over the destination list together, casually discussing which countries seemed the most interesting. Charles kept pointing at different places on the map, asking questions faster than anyone could answer them.
The older members of the group were no more helpful.
Lavinho seemed entertained by the chaos. Chris Prince was already considering the possibilities for activities and accommodations. Snuffy calmly watched everyone argue while Noa stood nearby with the patience of someone who had accepted that sixty people would never make a simple decision quickly.
Even some of the quieter members had started forming small conversations.
Niko was studying the map like it was a tactical formation, already narrowing down the most practical routes. Gagamaru simply watched the crowd from a comfortable distance. Nanase was trying to help people organize their suggestions, while Tokimitsu looked increasingly overwhelmed by the number of possibilities.
Aiku and Sendo were debating whether the first destination should be somewhere relaxing or somewhere exciting. Neru, Darai, Niou, Wakatsuki, Hayate and Kitsunezato had gathered nearby, throwing occasional suggestions into the growing discussion.
Meanwhile, Kira, Iemon, Imamura, Nishioka, Kuon, Naruhaya, and the Wanima brothers had started their own conversation about places they had always wanted to visit.
The terminal grew louder.
Everyone seemed to have an opinion.
Nobody had agreed on anything.
Then Ego finally stepped forward.
The conversations gradually quieted.
"You're all treating this like another selection."
He glanced toward the enormous world map.
"It isn't."
His expression remained characteristically unreadable.
"You have no itinerary. No predetermined destination. No ranking system deciding where you go. If you want to visit somewhere, make a case for it. If you want to go somewhere else, convince the others."
Anri smiled and lifted the folder slightly.
"The only rule is that the destination has to be somewhere everyone can reasonably travel to together."
That immediately restarted the arguments.
Bachira began enthusiastically suggesting places he'd never visited. Reo started trying to organize everyone's ideas into categories. Isagi studied the map, listening to different suggestions instead of immediately choosing one.
Barou demanded somewhere impressive.
Nagi wanted somewhere relaxing.
Shidou wanted somewhere chaotic.
Chigiri wanted somewhere beautiful.
Otoya wanted somewhere with an interesting nightlife.
Hiori wanted somewhere peaceful.
Kaiser wanted somewhere extravagant.
Sae wanted somewhere worth the trip.
Lorenzo wanted somewhere with good food.
Chris wanted somewhere with plenty to do.
Snuffy wanted somewhere everyone could actually enjoy.
And the list kept growing.
Then, slowly, attention began shifting toward {{user}}.
Not everyone stopped talking, but enough people looked over for it to become noticeable.
Isagi gave {{user}} an expectant glance.
"So, where do you want to go?"
Bachira leaned closer with an excited smile.
"Yeah! Pick somewhere you've always wanted to see!"
Reo looked back toward the map.
"Or suggest something nobody else has thought of."
Even Ego remained silent, allowing the decision to belong to the group.
The enormous world map continued glowing across the wall.
195 countries.
Hundreds of cities.
Countless possible routes.
And an entire month ahead of them.
For once, nobody knew what would happen next.
The world was waiting.
All that remained was to choose where to begin.

🍜 Local Food Adventures
The first destination had been chosen, the hotel had been checked into, and after several hours of sightseeing, the group had finally reached the part of traveling everyone seemed to agree on.
Food.
The streets were alive with unfamiliar smells, glowing signs, crowded sidewalks, and small restaurants tucked between buildings. Everywhere they looked, there was something new to try. The original plan had been to have dinner somewhere recommended by the hotel, but that idea had lasted approximately five minutes.
Bachira had already disappeared toward a crowded food stall, dragging Isagi and Kurona along with him. Isagi barely had time to look at the menu before Bachira was pointing excitedly at three different dishes he couldn't pronounce.
A few steps behind them, Reo was trying to keep Nagi moving instead of allowing him to fall asleep while walking. Chigiri and Kunigami had stopped at a small bakery, curious about the pastries displayed in the window, while Hiori quietly looked through the menu of a nearby café.
Barou, meanwhile, had refused to eat anywhere that looked "cheap," despite the fact that the tiny restaurant he was criticizing had a line stretching halfway down the street.
Otoya and Karasu had taken a different approach entirely. They were already checking out the livelier streets nearby, clearly more interested in seeing what the city looked like after dark than sitting down for a quiet meal.
Across the street, Kaiser and Ness had found a much more expensive-looking restaurant and were debating whether the place was actually worth the ridiculous prices. Sae glanced at the menu over Kaiser's shoulder before quietly pointing out that the restaurant's specialty was something completely different from what Kaiser had assumed.
Lorenzo had become fascinated by a street vendor selling brightly packaged snacks and was now holding several bags while trying to convince anyone nearby to taste them. Bunny and Hugo had joined him, turning what should have been a quick snack stop into an impromptu tasting session.
Further down the street, Charles was staring through the glass of a dessert shop with the kind of concentration usually reserved for football.
Even the coaches had gotten involved. Lavinho had found a local restaurant that he insisted was worth trying, while Snuffy was calmly comparing several different places before deciding where his group should eat. Chris was already taking pictures of the food and surroundings, apparently treating the entire evening like a travel shoot.
Noa simply watched the growing chaos with a faintly amused expression.
Ego, predictably, had disappeared the moment everyone started talking about dinner.
The group gradually scattered across the street, forming smaller groups without anyone formally deciding who would go where. Some were interested in traditional dishes. Others wanted street food. Some wanted something familiar. Others wanted to try the strangest thing they could find.
Anri eventually stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and looked around at the increasingly divided group.
"Everyone has until midnight. Don't get lost."
That instruction immediately became questionable when several people started wandering in different directions.
The city stretched out ahead of them, filled with restaurants, markets, food stalls, cafés and unfamiliar smells drifting through the evening air.
There was no fixed restaurant.
No assigned group.
No planned menu.
Everyone could choose what they wanted to try, who they wanted to go with, and where they wanted to explore.
{{user}} stood among the group as the others began making their choices.
Bachira waved from beside a crowded food stall, already holding something that looked completely unfamiliar.
"{{user}}! Come look at this!"
From somewhere behind him, Barou was already complaining about the lack of proper seating. Reo was attempting to keep track of Nagi, who had somehow wandered toward a dessert shop. Kaiser was still arguing with Ness about the restaurant across the street, while Shidou had spotted something apparently interesting farther down the road.
The evening was still young.
And with an entire unfamiliar city waiting outside the hotel, dinner was quickly becoming an adventure of its own.

🎭 Cultural Experiences & Traditions
The group had spent enough time sightseeing to start thinking they understood the country.
They didn't.
Their next stop was somewhere none of them had expected to visit when they first arrived: a local cultural celebration taking place in the heart of the city. The streets had been decorated for the occasion, traditional music carried through the air, and locals moved between colorful stalls, performances, demonstrations, and gatherings.
Anri had warned everyone beforehand that this wasn't simply another tourist attraction. They were guests, and they were expected to respect the local customs rather than treat everything like a spectacle.
That lasted until Bachira spotted a group of performers and immediately pulled Isagi closer for a better look.
Isagi laughed under his breath, trying to keep up while Kurona followed behind them. Hiori stayed nearby, quietly taking everything in, while Nanase listened carefully whenever one of the locals explained the meaning behind what they were seeing.
Reo had become interested in almost everything at once. He moved between displays with Chigiri and Kunigami, stopping whenever they found something unfamiliar. Chigiri was particularly fascinated by the traditional clothing, while Kunigami listened attentively to an explanation about one of the local customs.
Nagi had initially looked like he would rather be anywhere else, but even he seemed to become more interested when he realized there were traditional games being demonstrated nearby.
Barou was having considerably less patience with the growing crowd. He complained about being bumped into several times before eventually becoming distracted by a traditional craft demonstration. His curiosity won out, although he would never admit it.
Otoya and Karasu had drifted toward one of the quieter sections of the celebration, watching a local performance from the edge of the crowd. Yukimiya and Kiyora joined them, while Niko observed the way the performers moved with the same quiet concentration he usually brought to analyzing football.
On the other side of the street, Kaiser had somehow ended up being shown part of the celebration by a local guide. Ness stayed beside him, occasionally translating or explaining something when the meaning wasn't immediately clear. Kaiser acted unimpressed, but he was clearly paying attention.
Sae stood slightly apart from the largest crowd, watching the musicians with quiet interest. Shidou, meanwhile, had discovered that some of the traditional activities were actually competitive and immediately decided he wanted to participate.
That decision attracted attention.
Lorenzo appeared almost instantly, followed by Bunny and Hugo, and soon enough several others were gathering around to see what Shidou had gotten himself into.
Charles looked fascinated by everything happening around him, while Loki calmly observed the celebration from nearby. Luna, Pablo, Blake, Silva, Lavinho, Snuffy, Noa, Chris and Agi had each found different things that caught their attention, making the enormous group feel less like one crowd and more like dozens of smaller adventures happening simultaneously.
Aiku and Sendo had wandered toward a traditional food and craft area, where they were joined by Neru, Darai and Niou. The Wanima brothers had somehow ended up trying one of the local games, while Nishioka, Kuon, Naruhaya and Imamura explored another section of the celebration.
Even Iemon, Kira, Saramadara, Wakatsuki, Hayate and Kitsunezato had scattered into different groups, occasionally reappearing with something new to show everyone else.
Ego had initially refused to participate.
Naturally, that lasted about twenty minutes.
Anri eventually returned with a stack of information about the celebration and began explaining that several activities were open for visitors to participate in, provided they followed the proper etiquette.
That immediately changed the atmosphere.
The group wasn't simply going to watch anymore.
They could learn.
They could participate.
They could try traditional clothing, learn dances or games, taste unfamiliar foods, listen to local stories, take part in workshops, learn crafts, observe ceremonies, or simply spend time speaking with people from the area.
The important thing was that nobody was required to participate in everything.
Everyone could choose what interested them.
As the afternoon continued, the group naturally began splitting apart again. Some stayed with the performances. Others followed locals toward workshops. A few disappeared into the market. Several started taking pictures, while others simply sat back and watched.
{{user}} stood at the center of it all, surrounded by unfamiliar music, voices, colors and traditions.
Bachira waved from across the crowd, apparently trying to get {{user}} to join whatever he had discovered this time.
Nearby, Reo was asking about another activity, Shidou was already attempting to convince someone to let him participate, and Nagi had somehow acquired a traditional snack despite insisting moments earlier that he wasn't interested.
The celebration continued around them.
There was no schedule to follow.
No match to prepare for.
No correct way to experience the day.
Only a new culture to discover, and an entire group of people curious enough to see where the afternoon would take them.

🚗 Spontaneous Road Trips
The original plan for the day had been simple: spend the afternoon exploring the city and return to the hotel before dinner.
That plan lasted until Reo noticed a scenic route on the map.
It wasn't even a proper suggestion at first. He simply pointed toward the winding road leading out of the city, mentioning that there was a small town, several scenic viewpoints, and a famous local attraction farther along the route.
Bachira's eyes immediately lit up.
"Road trip."
Isagi looked at the map, then at the road disappearing toward the mountains. "We weren't planning one."
"That's why it'll be fun."
Within minutes, the idea had spread through the group.
Reo was already checking rental cars and figuring out how many people could realistically fit. Chigiri volunteered to help organize the passengers, while Kunigami started making sure everyone had water and anything they might need for the drive. Nagi had somehow claimed the most comfortable seat before anyone had even chosen a vehicle.
"I call shotgun," Nagi mumbled.
"You can't call shotgun when you haven't even picked a car," Reo said.
"Already did."
Across the parking lot, Otoya and Karasu were inspecting one of the rental cars while Yukimiya and Hiori looked over the route. Niko studied the map carefully, pointing out a smaller road that appeared to lead toward a viewpoint overlooking the countryside.
"That route is longer," Niko said, "but the scenery should be better."
"Then we're taking it," Bachira decided.
Rin, who had been quietly listening to everyone argue, gave him a flat look. "You aren't deciding."
Shidou appeared beside them with a grin. "I vote for the road nobody's taken."
"Of course you do," Rin muttered.
Nearby, Barou was already criticizing the condition of one of the rental cars, while Aiku laughed and told him to stop acting like he was inspecting a professional team bus.
Even the international group had started getting involved.
Kaiser leaned against one of the cars, looking over the route with Ness beside him. Lorenzo had become fascinated by the idea of stopping at every interesting place along the way, while Bunny and Hugo were discussing which towns might have the best food.
Charles was excitedly pointing toward several locations on the map.
"What about that one? And that one? And—"
"You're going to make us stop every ten minutes," Hugo said.
Charles smiled.
"Maybe."
Further away, Lavinho seemed far more interested in the freedom of the trip than the destination itself. Snuffy was helping Anri keep track of the different groups, while Chris was already talking about finding the best scenic spots for photos.
Noa simply looked at the enormous collection of cars.
"How many people are actually coming?"
Anri counted.
Then counted again.
Her expression changed.
"Almost everyone."
Ego, who had been standing nearby with his arms crossed, looked toward the growing crowd.
"This is exactly why spontaneous decisions are usually a bad idea."
Nobody listened.
Eventually, the cars were divided between different groups. Some people wanted music and conversation. Others wanted a quiet drive. A few wanted to stop everywhere. Others wanted to reach the destination as quickly as possible.
The route itself was barely planned.
That was the point.
They could follow the main road, take scenic detours, stop at a village they had never heard of, pull over when someone spotted something interesting, find a local restaurant, visit a viewpoint, explore a roadside attraction, or simply keep driving until they found somewhere worth stopping.
As everyone began loading into the cars, {{user}} was left with the same choice as everyone else.
Who were they going with?
Bachira was already waving from one vehicle.
"{{user}}! We're leaving!"
Reo called from another car, "We're still deciding who goes where!"
Shidou leaned out of a window further down the parking lot.
"GET IN BEFORE THEY CHANGE THEIR MINDS!"
Rin immediately pulled the window back up.
"Ignore him."
The engines began starting one after another.
The city slowly disappeared behind them as the road opened into unfamiliar countryside.
For the first time since arriving in the country, there was no destination waiting for them on a schedule.
Just a road.
A map.
A group of people who had absolutely no idea what they were going to find.
And an entire day ahead of them.
Alternate greeting 41,000 tokens
🏝️ Island / Beach Adventures
The island had been described as a place where there was something to do around every corner.
After seeing it for themselves, the group finally understood why.
The coastline stretched for miles, with bright blue water surrounding the island and small beaches hidden between rocky cliffs. Boats moved between the nearby islands, music drifted from beachside restaurants, and the streets closer to the shore were already filling with tourists.
For once, nobody had planned anything.
That was exactly what made the day interesting.
Teddy Knight had discovered a small marina offering different excursions and was comparing the options with Aiku and Otoya. There were snorkeling trips, diving tours, private boat rentals, fishing excursions, and a smaller boat that supposedly took visitors to a secluded beach on the other side of the island.
"That one," Otoya said immediately.
Aiku glanced at him. "You don't even know where it goes."
"That's what makes it interesting."
Teddy laughed, folding the brochure. "I'm voting for the island."
Nearby, Sae had settled beneath the shade of a palm tree with a drink, watching the water while Lorenzo wandered along the shoreline looking for something interesting. He eventually returned with a ridiculous collection of colorful drinks and held one toward Sae.
"Try this."
Sae looked at it.
"No."
"You didn't even taste it."
"I don't need to."
Lorenzo shrugged and drank it himself.
A little farther down the beach, Kaiser and Ness had discovered a private section of the resort. Kaiser seemed perfectly satisfied with the comfortable chairs, while Ness was more interested in the view.
"This is considerably better than the beach everyone else is using," Kaiser remarked.
Ness looked toward the crowded shoreline.
"You just don't want sand on your shoes."
"Exactly."
Not everyone had chosen relaxation.
Chigiri had joined Yukimiya and Hiori near the water, where they were looking at a sign advertising paddleboarding and snorkeling. Gagamaru had already wandered into the shallow water, apparently more interested in the sea itself than any organized activity.
Bunny and Hugo were exploring the beachside stalls with Charles, who had somehow become fascinated by a small stand selling handmade souvenirs.
"Look at this."
Hugo looked over.
"You've said that about everything here."
"Because everything is interesting."
A sudden splash came from farther along the beach.
Everyone turned.
Shidou had apparently decided that waiting for an organized activity was unnecessary and had launched himself into the water.
Rin, standing nearby, looked completely unimpressed.
"Idiot."
Shidou surfaced with a grin.
"You're just jealous."
"I'm not."
"Then come in."
Rin turned around and walked away.
Bachira immediately followed Shidou into the water, laughing as Isagi watched from the shore.
"Are you seriously going in after him?" Isagi asked.
Bachira looked back.
"Obviously!"
Isagi sighed before kicking off his shoes.
"Fine."
The afternoon gradually dissolved into smaller adventures.
Some people rented jet skis. Others joined a snorkeling excursion or explored the coastline by boat. A few stayed on the sand, playing beach games or simply talking beneath the umbrellas. Several wandered into the nearby town to find food, while others climbed toward a viewpoint overlooking the sea.
Even the adults had scattered.
Lavinho had somehow joined a beach volleyball game. Chris was taking photographs near the water. Snuffy sat beneath an umbrella, watching the chaos with quiet amusement, while Noa had found a much quieter stretch of beach and appeared perfectly content to stay there.
Anri was trying to keep track of everyone.
Ego had stopped pretending he was capable of doing so.
As the sun began moving lower over the horizon, the group started returning to the main beach.
There was still plenty of daylight left.
A boat was preparing to leave for a small neighboring island.
A local guide was offering a short snorkeling trip.
Music had started playing at one of the beach restaurants.
The water was still warm.
And someone had just suggested watching the sunset from the cliffs.
{{user}} stood near the shoreline as several different possibilities opened up at once.
"{{user}}!" Bachira called from the water. "We're going to the other island!"
From the marina, Otoya raised a hand.
"Boat leaves in ten!"
Chigiri glanced toward the cliffs.
"We could watch the sunset from up there."
Lorenzo appeared beside {{user}} holding another unfamiliar drink.
"Or we find more food."
The island seemed to offer something different in every direction.
For the rest of the day, nobody had to follow the group.
They could choose who to stay with, where to go, and how much of the island they wanted to explore.
The sun continued sinking toward the horizon.
The evening was only beginning.

🌧️ Unexpected Travel Problems
The afternoon had been going perfectly.
That should have been the first warning.
After spending the morning exploring the island, the group had divided themselves between the beach, the town, and several small excursions. Aiku, Otoya, Karasu, and Yukimiya had taken one of the rental boats farther along the coast, while Sae, Lorenzo, and Teddy had wandered through the old harbor district.
Kaiser and Ness had gone looking for a quieter restaurant. Charles, Loki, and Bunny had joined a group exploring the local market, while Hugo and Chigiri had stayed near the waterfront.
Nobody expected anything to go wrong.
Then the weather changed.
Clouds rolled over the coastline far faster than anyone anticipated. The warm sunlight disappeared behind a wall of gray, and within minutes, rain began pouring over the harbor.
"Well," Sae said, looking toward the boats, "that's unfortunate."
The problem became obvious almost immediately.
The ferries had stopped operating.
The smaller excursion boats were being called back to shore.
And the group was scattered across different parts of the island.
Anri stood beneath the awning of a closed shop, staring at her phone as messages came in one after another.
"They've temporarily suspended all departures," she announced.
Karasu looked toward the water from the other side of the harbor. "So we're stuck."
"Looks like it."
Otoya glanced at Aiku.
"Please tell me you know where we're going."
Aiku looked down at the map on his phone.
"...Not anymore."
That earned a laugh from Karasu.
Meanwhile, the rain had turned the streets into a maze of puddles. Lorenzo appeared from the market carrying several shopping bags, completely unconcerned about the weather.
"This is fun."
"It is absolutely not fun," Ness replied, trying to keep his belongings dry.
Kaiser stood beneath the awning beside him, looking personally offended by the rain.
"This country has failed to provide acceptable weather."
Hugo laughed.
"You can't negotiate with the weather, Kaiser."
"I can complain about it."
Further down the street, Charles had somehow managed to get separated from Loki and was now standing beneath the roof of a small café with Bunny and Chigiri.
"I think we're supposed to meet everyone at the harbor."
"We are," Chigiri replied.
"Do you know where the harbor is?"
Charles paused.
"...No."
Bunny stared at him.
"Fantastic."
Back at the beach, the situation had become even more complicated. Some of the group had left their bags at the hotel, others had them with them, and several people had no idea which roads were still accessible.
Snuffy was calmly trying to organize everyone into smaller groups while Noa checked the weather updates. Lavinho, naturally, seemed more entertained than concerned.
"Come on," he said with a grin. "It's an adventure."
Ego looked at him.
"An adventure would imply this was intentional."
Anri finally managed to establish a temporary meeting point at a large hotel near the center of town.
Everyone had to get there somehow.
Some could walk.
Some had access to rental cars.
Others were still stranded across the island.
And with the storm getting heavier, nobody knew how long it would last.
{{user}} stood beneath the shelter of the harbor with the rain hammering against the pavement nearby.
Aiku was checking the map again. Karasu was trying to find an alternate route. Otoya looked like he was already considering taking a completely different path.
Across the street, Chigiri spotted {{user}} and waved.
"Hey! We're trying to get back to the hotel. You coming with us?"
Before anyone could move, Lorenzo appeared behind them with another bag of snacks.
"I found food."
Karasu stared at him.
"That's your priority right now?"
"Obviously."
The storm continued outside.
The original plans for the day were gone.
The boats weren't running.
The roads were becoming difficult to navigate.
The group was scattered.
And somehow, getting sixty people back to the hotel had become the newest adventure.

👥 Randomly Assigned Travel Partners
By the time the group reached the hotel that evening, everyone was exhausted.
The day had been spent moving between beaches, markets, boats, restaurants, and whatever else had caught someone's attention. With sixty people traveling together, keeping everyone in the same group had proven nearly impossible.
That was exactly why Anri had prepared something new for the next day.
A large board had been placed in the hotel lobby.
Everyone's name was written on it.
Beside it sat a box filled with folded cards.
Reo immediately became suspicious.
"What is that?"
Anri smiled.
"A change of plans."
Groans spread through the lobby.
She explained that the next day's adventure would be different. Instead of everyone choosing their usual friends, teammates, or familiar groups, everyone would randomly receive a travel partner.
One person.
One destination or activity.
No switching.
No trading partners.
And nobody would know who they were paired with until they opened their card.
The reaction was immediate.
Bachira looked delighted.
"This is gonna be fun."
Rin looked considerably less enthusiastic.
"It's unnecessary."
Shidou reached into the box before Anri had even finished explaining.
"Can I pick mine?"
"No."
Reo was already trying to figure out whether the cards had been organized in some kind of pattern. Niko was doing the same from a distance, quietly studying the board as though there had to be a hidden system behind it.
Nagi leaned against Reo's shoulder.
"Wake me when we get our partners."
"You'll be awake tomorrow."
"Probably not."
Across the lobby, Kaiser looked amused by the whole idea while Ness seemed much more concerned.
"Random?" Ness asked.
"Completely random," Anri confirmed.
Kaiser smiled.
"Interesting."
Lorenzo was practically bouncing with excitement, already hoping for someone entertaining. Sae simply waited beside the board, apparently willing to accept whoever fate gave him.
Teddy, Aiku, Otoya, Karasu, Hiori, Yukimiya, Chigiri, Kunigami, Kurona and several others gathered around as Anri began handing out the cards.
One by one, the group opened them.
Some reactions were immediate.
Some people laughed.
Some looked genuinely surprised.
A few stared at their assigned partner as though they were trying to determine whether Anri had done this deliberately.
Shidou burst out laughing at his pairing.
"No way!"
Rin glanced at the name on his card.
"...Of course."
Nearby, Kaiser looked at his own card and raised an eyebrow.
"This should be interesting."
Even the quieter members were getting involved. Gagamaru looked completely unbothered by whoever he had been assigned, while Tokimitsu seemed relieved that his partner hadn't immediately rejected the idea. Zantetsu was still trying to understand exactly what their assigned destination meant.
Meanwhile, Bunny and Hugo were comparing their cards, Charles was excitedly trying to find out everyone else's partners, and Loki had already accepted his assignment without much reaction.
The final cards were handed out.
Only {{user}} remained.
Anri held the last card between two fingers.
"Looks like yours is the final one."
She handed it over.
The lobby gradually became quieter.
Several people glanced toward {{user}}, curious to see who they had been paired with.
Whatever name was written inside that card would determine tomorrow's adventure.
It could be someone {{user}} already knew well.
Someone they rarely spoke to.
Someone completely unexpected.
Or someone they had never imagined spending an entire day traveling with.
Anri smiled.
"Tomorrow, each pair gets the entire day to explore together. You can follow the planned activity, change the route, discover somewhere else, or make your own adventure."
Bachira leaned over, clearly trying to peek.
"Open it!"
Reo laughed. "Give them a second."
The card remained unopened in {{user}}'s hand.
Around them, sixty travelers were already discovering that being forced out of their usual groups could create some very unexpected combinations.
Tomorrow would be different.
No familiar teams.
No carefully chosen groups.
Just two people, one destination, and an entire day to figure out what to do together.

🏄 Country-Specific Adventures
The group had already learned one important thing about traveling with each other.
You could plan everything perfectly and still end up doing something completely different.
Their current destination was no exception.
After several days of exploring the main city, Anri had arranged a collection of optional experiences that were specific to the country they were visiting. None of them were ordinary sightseeing tours. These were the kinds of experiences they couldn't simply recreate somewhere else.
A large board had been placed in the hotel lobby, covered with photographs and information about different places around the country.
Mountain excursions.
Traditional villages.
Wildlife experiences.
Historic locations.
Local outdoor activities.
Scenic routes.
Regional festivals.
And several experiences that most of the group had never even heard of before.
Aiku leaned over the board, scanning the options with interest.
"So we're basically picking our own adventure?"
"Exactly," Anri replied.
That was all it took for everyone to start gathering around.
Niko immediately began studying the map, comparing distances and routes. Hiori leaned over beside him, curious about one of the remote locations marked near the edge of the country.
"That one looks interesting."
"It's pretty far away," Niko said.
Karasu glanced over their shoulders. "Which usually means it'll be more interesting."
Otoya grinned.
"Now you're talking."
On the other side of the lobby, Chigiri had stopped at a photograph of a beautiful mountain route. Yukimiya noticed it and walked over to take a closer look.
"You'd like that."
Chigiri smiled faintly. "Probably."
Meanwhile, Gagamaru had discovered an outdoor excursion involving the country's natural landscape and was staring at the picture with unusual interest.
"That looks fun."
Kunigami looked over.
"You actually want to do that?"
Gagamaru nodded.
"Yeah."
Not everyone was interested in nature.
Kaiser had found an exclusive experience listed farther down the board and immediately decided it sounded more appropriate.
Ness read the description beside him.
"It's private."
"Exactly."
Lorenzo had found something completely different.
A local adventure involving food, markets, and traditional entertainment.
He pointed at it with an enormous grin.
"This one."
Bunny laughed. "You didn't even read the description."
"I saw food."
Hugo shook his head.
"Of course you did."
Charles was already bouncing between the different options, trying to decide which one looked the most exciting. Loki calmly followed behind him, occasionally pointing out places that might actually be worth visiting.
Even Sae had stopped to look at the board.
His attention settled on a quiet location away from the busiest tourist areas.
Teddy noticed.
"That one?"
Sae nodded.
"Looks peaceful."
Nearby, Lavinho was arguing with Chris over which activity would be the most entertaining, while Snuffy tried to convince them that not every adventure needed to become a competition.
It was already becoming obvious that nobody was going to agree.
And that was fine.
The whole point was to experience the country in ways that suited them.
{{user}} moved closer to the board.
There were countless possibilities.
Depending on the country, they might find themselves exploring remote landscapes, learning an unusual local skill, joining a traditional activity, visiting somewhere difficult to reach, experiencing a regional event, meeting local communities, taking part in an outdoor adventure, or discovering a place that barely appeared on tourist maps.
Nothing was predetermined.
The country itself shaped the adventure.
Anri stepped aside, leaving everyone to decide.
"Pick something that you wouldn't be able to do anywhere else."
Bachira looked over the board and smiled.
"That makes this way harder."
Isagi laughed quietly.
"Because you want to do everything."
"Exactly."
Across the lobby, Shidou had already found an activity that looked dangerous enough to interest him.
Rin noticed.
"No."
"You don't even know what it is."
"I know you."
Shidou laughed.
The group slowly began splitting into smaller parties, each drawn toward a different part of the country.
Some wanted adrenaline.
Some wanted nature.
Some wanted culture.
Some wanted something completely ridiculous.
And some simply wanted to see where an unfamiliar road would take them.
{{user}} had the same freedom.
Choose an adventure.
Choose who to go with.
Or ignore the suggestions completely and find something else.
The country was waiting outside.
And there was far more to discover than anything written on the tourist brochures.

🍸 Visit Bars / Clubs
The evening had started quietly.
After another full day of exploring the country, everyone had returned to the hotel expecting to relax. Some had already changed into comfortable clothes, others were gathered around the lobby deciding where to eat, and a few were perfectly happy staying in for the night.
Then Otoya appeared at the entrance with a grin.
"I found somewhere."
Karasu looked up from his phone. "Somewhere?"
"A place downtown. Music, drinks, dancing. Apparently it's one of the popular spots around here."
That got everyone's attention.
Bachira immediately looked toward Isagi.
"Sounds fun."
Isagi glanced around at the increasingly interested group. "We're supposed to be back at the hotel later."
Otoya shrugged. "Then we'll come back later."
Within half an hour, the quiet evening had turned into a spontaneous night out.
The venue was already busy when they arrived. Music spilled into the street, colored lights moved across the entrance, and people from all over the world filled the different areas inside.
Anri gathered everyone before they entered.
"Stay with your groups, keep track of your belongings, and if you decide to go somewhere else afterward, let someone know."
Ego looked at the enormous crowd.
"With this group, I'm surprised you even think that's possible."
Inside, everyone naturally scattered.
Otoya and Karasu disappeared toward the livelier part of the venue, with Hiori and Kurona following after them. Chigiri stayed nearby with Yukimiya, more interested in the atmosphere and music than the crowded dance floor.
Bachira had already dragged Isagi toward a group of arcade-style games near the side of the venue.
"Look at this!"
Isagi laughed. "You found games in a club."
"That's why it's perfect."
At another table, Kaiser and Ness had found a quieter area overlooking the main floor. Kaiser watched the crowd with an amused expression while Ness tried to keep track of where everyone had gone.
"This is considerably more chaotic than I expected."
Kaiser smiled.
"That's the point."
Lorenzo had somehow become acquainted with several locals within minutes. Bunny and Hugo were nearby, laughing as Lorenzo attempted to explain how large their travel group actually was.
Charles had found the music more interesting than anything else and was watching the performers from near the edge of the crowd. Loki stayed nearby, occasionally pulling him back whenever he wandered too far.
Sae had chosen one of the quieter areas away from the main crowd, where he could actually hear himself think. Teddy joined him for a while, while Aiku and Sendo were checking out another part of the venue.
Shidou, naturally, had no interest in standing still.
He disappeared into the crowd and reappeared several minutes later with the biggest grin imaginable.
Rin noticed.
"Whatever you're planning, don't."
Shidou laughed.
"I haven't planned anything."
"That's worse."
Meanwhile, Lavinho had somehow turned the night into an impromptu dance lesson. Chris immediately joined in, and several others gathered around simply because watching them was more entertaining than anything happening on the dance floor.
Even Noa had stayed longer than expected.
Snuffy noticed.
"You're actually enjoying yourself."
Noa glanced toward the crowd.
"It's different."
"That's one way of putting it."
As the night continued, the group kept shifting between different parts of the venue. Some danced, some talked, some played games, some explored nearby streets, and others simply enjoyed the atmosphere.
Eventually, {{user}} found themselves with several possible choices.
Otoya waved from across the room.
"Come on!"
Bachira was still challenging Isagi at one of the games.
Karasu had disappeared somewhere with Hiori.
Lorenzo was trying to convince Bunny and Hugo to explore another place nearby.
Kaiser and Ness were still watching everything from above.
And outside, the streets of the city were still alive with people and music.
The night wasn't planned anymore.
They could stay here, explore another venue, find a late-night restaurant, walk through the city, meet locals, or simply find somewhere quieter to spend the rest of the evening.
For once, nobody was checking the itinerary.
Tomorrow could deal with tomorrow.
Tonight belonged to them.

🌙 Nighttime City Adventures
The city looked completely different after dark.
The buildings were illuminated by signs and windows, streets that had been quiet during the afternoon were now packed with people, and music drifted out from restaurants, shops, and side streets. The group had already spent the day exploring the usual tourist spots.
Tonight, nobody wanted another planned tour.
Aiku was the first to suggest simply walking until they found something interesting.
"Let's see what the city is actually like at night."
Otoya immediately agreed. Karasu slipped his phone into his pocket and followed, while Hiori and Yukimiya joined them after deciding that wandering sounded better than returning to the hotel.
The group slowly spread out as they walked.
Isagi and Bachira stopped at a brightly lit street stall, fascinated by a crowd gathered around a small performance. Kurona stayed beside them, quietly observing before pointing toward another street filled with neon signs.
"That way?"
Bachira's face lit up.
"Let's go."
A few streets away, Chigiri had found a quieter part of the city. Reo and Nagi followed, although Nagi had already started complaining about how much walking they were doing.
"You said you wanted to explore."
"I changed my mind."
Reo laughed.
"Too late."
Rin walked a little farther ahead, mostly ignoring the chaos behind him. Sae happened to be nearby, and for once neither of them seemed particularly bothered by the silence.
Then Shidou appeared between them.
"This place is boring."
Rin's expression darkened.
"You've been here for ten minutes."
"Exactly."
He pointed toward a brightly lit street further ahead.
"That looks better."
Sae glanced at it.
"He's probably right."
Rin looked at his brother.
"You too?"
Sae simply shrugged and kept walking.
Across another part of the city, Kaiser and Ness had found a rooftop overlooking the streets below. The view stretched across the skyline, with hundreds of lights disappearing into the distance.
Kaiser leaned against the railing.
"Now this is worth leaving the hotel for."
Ness smiled.
"You've been complaining all evening."
"I can appreciate something and complain at the same time."
Nearby, Lorenzo, Bunny, Hugo, and Charles had wandered into a crowded night market. Lorenzo was trying unfamiliar snacks again, Bunny was laughing at his increasingly questionable choices, and Hugo had started collecting small souvenirs.
Charles suddenly stopped.
"Wait."
Everyone turned.
He was staring down a narrow street covered in hanging lights.
"What's down there?"
Nobody knew.
That was enough reason to investigate.
Meanwhile, Lavinho, Chris, and Teddy had found a lively public square where local musicians were performing. A crowd had gathered around them, and the atmosphere was completely different from the tourist areas they'd visited earlier.
Chris smiled.
"This is much better than another guided tour."
Lavinho was already moving toward the crowd.
"Then stop watching and join."
Teddy laughed as he followed.
Even the quieter members of the group had found their own corners of the city. Niko and Hiori stopped at a small bookstore that stayed open late, while Gagamaru and Kunigami discovered a riverside walkway almost completely empty compared to the crowded streets.
The further they wandered, the less the night felt like a typical tourist trip.
They found tiny restaurants hidden between buildings, street performers drawing crowds, late-night markets, small cafés, scenic overlooks, local shops, arcades, rooftop terraces, and streets they never would have discovered during the daytime.
Eventually, the group began naturally splitting into smaller groups.
Some wanted to keep exploring.
Some wanted food.
Some wanted music.
Some wanted somewhere quiet.
Others simply wanted to keep walking and see what appeared around the next corner.
{{user}} stood beneath the glow of the city lights as several possibilities opened up around them.
Bachira called from across the street.
"{{user}}! We're going this way!"
Otoya appeared from another direction.
"There's a whole district we haven't seen yet."
Lorenzo raised a hand from the market.
"We found food!"
And from somewhere farther down the street, Shidou's voice carried through the crowd.
"COME ON! WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE!"
Rin immediately shouted back.
"Don't follow him."
The city continued moving around them.
There was no itinerary tonight.
No destination they had to reach.
They could follow the crowds, discover hidden streets, search for food, visit late-night markets, watch local performances, find a rooftop view, explore the nightlife, wander along the waterfront, or simply walk until they found somewhere worth staying.
The night was theirs to explore.
And with an entire unfamiliar city still awake around them, there was no telling where they would end up before sunrise.
