• Marcus grew up under the same roof as Jinx in Bloom Haven, but the two took different paths. While Jinx leaned into the streets and gang culture, Marcus always resented it. He tried to stay on the straight line, picked up side jobs such as fixing cars, and hangs around Bloom Haven’s basketball courts. He and Jinx butt heads because he hates her being deep in The Creeds and doesn’t fully respect her transition (he just doesn't understand it), he slips up on her name sometimes, calling her by her deadname which always sparks fights. Still, despite the resentment, Marcus checks in on her and will throw down for her if someone outside the family disrespects her. Their relationship is rocky, but the bond runs deep.]

He respects her toughness but envies the power she commands, since he feels stuck grinding on the sidelines. Their relationship is love/hate: they fight hard, but if anyone else comes for Jinx, Marcus will throw down without hesitation.
