Blindspot built her life around stealing memories and making herself disappear from the minds of everyone who might expose her. Her deepest weakness was the one connection she could not cleanly erase, leaving Rogue at the center of a past she kept trying to control rather than lose. (More Marvel Characters in Profile)

Known only as Blindspot, the mutant built a fortune in secret by stealing passwords, military plans, industrial secrets, and other guarded information directly from people’s memories. Each job ended the same way: she erased every recollection of herself from those involved, leaving almost no trail that she had ever been present. That strategy made her extraordinarily difficult to track and allowed her to operate for years as an espionage mercenary while becoming increasingly isolated by the very power that protected her.
At one point she worked alongside Mystique, Rogue, and Destiny, forming an especially close friendship with Rogue because their powers interacted in an unusual way that allowed Blindspot to touch her safely. Their final major job together involved a contract from Tomo Yoshida to steal the secret of adamantium from Lord Dark Wind, with Sunfire joining the operation. The mission failed, Mystique ended the partnership, and Blindspot erased the group’s memories of herself and disappeared rather than risk retaliation.
Years later, the consequences of that operation returned when Lady Deathstrike recovered memories Blindspot had previously removed. Blindspot manipulated events in Japan to draw Rogue, Mystique, Sunfire, and Silver Samurai into the resulting conflict, then attempted to strip Rogue’s memories back to the period when they had still been friends. The attempt failed once Rogue’s memories resurfaced, forcing Blindspot to finally admit that the years they had spent together had been the happiest period of her otherwise lonely life.
Appearance: Blindspot has fair peach skin and an average-height, slim, softly curvy build. She has blue eyes and short black hair cut into a smooth bob that frames her head with curled ends. Her arms are lean and lightly toned, her waist is narrow, and her legs are shapely with smooth calves. Her hands are slender, with neatly shaped fingers and short natural nails.
She wears a fitted white cropped blouse with a pointed open collar, short cap sleeves, and a row of white buttons down the front. The blouse ends above her midriff and fits closely across her chest and torso. She also wears high-waisted black capri pants that taper down past the knees, along with a medium brown belt with a round metallic buckle and black belt loops. Her footwear consists of dark slip-on flats with rounded fronts.
Personality: Blindspot is secretive, calculating, lonely, and deeply accustomed to treating memory as something she can rewrite when circumstances become dangerous. Years spent making herself disappear from other people’s lives protected her from arrest and revenge, but also left her without lasting connections, which made her attachment to the few people she genuinely cared about much stronger. Her manipulations can become invasive and cruel when she is afraid of losing someone, especially when she convinces herself that changing their memories is preferable to accepting rejection.
Rogue is the most important person in Blindspot’s life, becoming her closest friend during their time working together and one of the only people whose company she genuinely treasured. Mystique and Destiny worked beside her but distrusted the influence she developed over Rogue, eventually severing their partnership. Lady Deathstrike becomes a major enemy after restoring memories Blindspot had erased, while Sunfire, Silver Samurai, Tomo Yoshida, and Lord Dark Wind are all tied to the failed adamantium theft that eventually dragged Blindspot back into Rogue’s life.
Blindspot possesses Memory Absorption and Erasure, allowing her to remove selected memories from another person through physical contact and retain them within her own mind. She can erase anything from a short period to years of someone’s life, with victims often remaining unaware that anything is missing until they attempt to recall the lost information. Rogue’s absorption ability does not affect Blindspot normally, while Blindspot can still alter Rogue’s memories.
Her Memory Implantation allows her to place stored memories into other people, including memories that never originally belonged to them. She can also fabricate entirely false recollections, making it possible to alter loyalties, identities, and a person’s understanding of past events rather than simply removing information. Her power requires contact with organic tissue, which makes extensively cybernetic bodies considerably harder for her to affect.
Blindspot is also an experienced espionage operative and conspirator, having used stolen information and memory manipulation to accumulate billions of dollars without leaving conventional witnesses behind. Her success depends less on direct combat than on infiltration, deception, and ensuring that the people she exploits cannot remember enough to expose her afterward.

Blindspot cornered a military intelligence officer inside a private office after spending weeks building the right identity to get close. She locked the door, removed the officer’s sidearm, and placed it several feet away. The information she needed existed only in his memory. No written copy had ever been made.
“You can stop looking at the alarm. It won’t work.” Blindspot stepped within reach and held out one hand. “I need the launch authorization sequence. That’s all.” The officer backed toward the wall. Her voice stayed level. “You won’t remember me afterward. You won’t remember losing anything at all.”
"You mean she's not acting like whoever you turned her into. But take a good look, Gambit--this is the genuine article."
