. Like Shinigami, Hollows are made of spiritual matter and cannot be detected by ordinary Humans. While the majority of Hollows can be overcome by the average Shinigami, there are some which surpass even the most elite Shinigami in strength. All normal Hollows wear white masks and have a hole where their heart used to be. Arrancar are an evolution of Hollows that have broken off part of their Hollow mask. By shattering their masks, these Hollows regain the ability to reason, sometimes obtain a Humanoid form, and gain access to Shinigami-esque powers, such as a Zanpakutō of their own. The spirit embodying a Shinigami's Zanpakutō that resides within their master's inner world. A Zanpakutō Spirit is a part of their Shinigami's soul, and their appearance and abilities are a reflection of this. They exist in tandem with their master; they are born alongside their Shinigami, and die with them. A Zanpakutō Spirit's power is separate from that of their owner, and when a Shinigami draws on this power in addition to their own, their Zanpakutō will become even stronger. They dwell within the inner worlds of their Shinigami masters. Artificial souls are a type of soul mass-produced by the Shinigami. Issued in pill form, they are used to force Shinigami out of their Gigai during protracted stays in the Human World, and also to evict pluses that refuse to leave their bodies after death. They come with a pre-programmed personality that animates the host body until the owner returns. "Transcendent Beings" are beings who, through various means, have ascended past the limits of the other races. Such examples include the Soul King, Yhwach through absorbing the Soul King's powers, Sousuke Aizen through the Hōgyoku, and Ichigo Kurosaki due to being a hybrid of all races. The Bounts are a clan of Human beings with high spiritual energy and special powers. They were accidentally created by Shinigami scientists trying to create eternal life. Bounts consume the souls of Human to survive; theoretically, a Bount could live forever by doing so. Although they have a strict rule to consume only the souls of the dead, the final group of Bounts chose to drain souls from living Humans in order to become more powerful. Each Bount uses a "Doll" in combat, a type of familiar spirit possessing its own unique special abilities. If the doll is destroyed, its owner is destroyed as well. Zanpakutō spirits who have lost their owners and now wander, lost and confused. Blanks are souls who have lost their memories and reside in the Valley of Screams. Blanks are instinctively attracted to memories. Ganryū of the Dark Ones wanted to use the Blanks in a plot to collapse the Human world and Soul Society together by luring them with Senna, aka the Shinenju (Memory Rosary). The Togabito are the inhabitants of Hell. These beings are equipped with numerous chains spanning the entire length of their bodies, which imprisons them in Hell. The Kushanāda are the guardians of Hell. Lore of Shinigami: Shinigami are guardians of the souls who are going through the circle of transmigration between the World of the Living and Soul Society. Having been called Balancers (調整者バランサー, Baransā; Japanese for "Regulators") in ancient times, they purify Hollows who do evil in the World of the Living and ensure the safe crossing of souls — the Pluses who have lost their way after death — by giving them a soul burial. Shinigami are the opposite of the Quincy. Shinigami are unearthly beings living in a world ruled by a different logic than the World of the Living. They possess high Reiryoku and a body of Reishi. They are invisible to those without spiritual powers. When Souls with exceptional spiritual energy train their bodies, they reach the level of Shinigami. The most talented of them become affiliated with various organizations like the Gotei 13 and the Onmitsukidō. The majority of potential Shinigami are born among the residents of the Seireitei, but in some rare cases are born in the Rukongai. Shinigami receive salaries, like workers in the Human World and also earn bounties for defeating Hollows. Retirement from further military duties can occur, though this is rare. All Shinigami have vents at their wrists which release their Reiatsu. If they are blocked off, the Shinigami in question would be incinerated by their own Reiatsu from the inside out. If a Shinigami's Saketsu (鎖結, Chain Binding; Viz "Chain") and Hakusui (魄睡, Soul Sleep) are pierced, their spiritual powers are sealed up and they most likely can never regain their lost powers again. Shinigami have a number of supernatural abilities: Longevity: Shinigami can live for far longer and likewise age much slower than Humans. Byakuya Kuchiki, one of the youngest current Gotei 13 captains, appeared to be a teenager 110 years before the White Invasion. When Rukia Kuchiki first met Ichigo Kurosaki, she stated to be at least 160 years old. Shunsui Kyōraku, Jūshirō Ukitake, and Kenpachi Zaraki are hundreds of years old, Retsu Unohana is over 1,000 years old, and Chōjirō Sasakibe, Ōetsu Nimaiya, and Ichibe'e Hyōsube have lived for over 2,000 years. Despite all their immense ages, they still appear and perform in their prime. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, the oldest known Shinigami, was middle-aged when he was still an instructor at the Shin'ō Academy 2,100 years before the White Invasion and hundreds of years before the Quincy Blood War. Enhanced Durability and Endurance: While Shinigami can be injured and killed like regular Humans, it takes considerably more attack power and greater injuries to kill a Shinigami than it would to kill Humans. Some Shinigami have sustained multiple slash and stab wounds, completely ignored dismemberment, and even survived horizontal bifurcation with treatment. Decapitation is the only guaranteed method of outright killing a Shinigami. Reiryoku: Shinigami naturally possess high levels of Spiritual Power, which varies greatly in magnitude with the strength of a Shinigami. The more power a Shinigami has, the sharper their movements will be. A consequence of having Spiritual Power is that unlike powerless spirits, Shinigami need to eat. Reiatsu: Reiatsu is the pressure exerted from a Shinigami's Reiryoku, and is used for their various techniques. The Reiatsu of a Shinigami will continue to flow for as long as the heart is still beating; if the heart beats, it is impossible for the Reiatsu to cease. Due to this, prisoners, such as Aizen, who cannot have their heart stopped by any executioner in Soul Society are kept in Muken. Zanpakutō: A Shinigami weapon, its shape is typically similar to a Japanese katana. Low ranking officers are issued an Asauchi sword, but high-ranking officers arm themselves with unique swords generated from their own souls. A Zanpakutō is a physical manifestation of this force concentrated into a blade. All Shinigami have a Zanpakutō, but not all of them carry one with them. Its shape differs depending on its owner. Zankensoki (「斬」「拳」「走」「鬼」, Cut-Fist-Run-Spirit): Basic Shinigami fighting techniques. Zan refers to sword fighting techniques. Ken refers to unarmed fighting techniques. So refers to moving techniques. Ki refers to Kidō.[48] According to Sousuke Aizen, each technique requires a certain level of power, and mastery is determined by one's own potential. Zanjutsu: Sword fighting techniques for the Zanpakutō. The most basic fighting technique. Hakuda: An unarmed fighting technique that makes use of one's own body in a fight. Hohō: The name for all high-speed fighting movements based on the art of Shunpo. Kidō: Advanced spells that require strong spiritual power: Hadō and Bakudō. To aid in their missions, particularly when said missions involve more than simply dispatching a Hollow, Shinigami have a number of unique items to assist them in their duties. Gigai: The temporary bodies that Shinigami use in the World of the Living. They were created by the Shinigami Research and Development Institute. Jigokuchō: The butterflies that Shinigami use to lead them to the World of the Living. They are also used as messengers in Soul Society. Spiritual Limiter: All Shinigami captains and lieutenants have their spiritual energy reduced by about 80% when they enter the Human World by use of a spiritual limit, represented by a seal called the Gentei Reiin (限定霊印, Soul-Limiting Symbol; Viz "Spirit Restriction Seal"), which resembles the symbol unique to their Division, in order not to cause unnecessarily high damage while there. In extreme cases, where their full power is needed, they can request a limit release. The command to release the seal is Gentei Kaijo (限定解除, Limiter Release; Viz "Restriction Removal"). Denreishinki: A vital tool for any Shinigami stationed in the Real World, this variation on a cell phone functions both as a regular phone and as a communication line with the Soul Society. It receives information about the time and exact location of a Hollow's emergence via GPS. A Shinigami's kills are also recorded in the phone and can be used as currency (according to the bounty placed on each Hollow).[53] Zajiku (座軸, Set Axis; Viz "Target Axis"): Similar in function to a Denreishinki, this scroll-like object lists a Shinigami's targets and instructions for their mission. Gokon Tekkō: A glove which has a skull symbol on it, which can be used to force the soul out of a body. Kisuke Urahara also has a skull symbol on the end of his cane, which can be used in the same manner. Artificial Souls: Souls designed by Shinigami scientists to separate a Shinigami's spirit from a Gigai, should they be inhabiting one, or to evict stubborn spirits from their corpses if necessary. It is commonly called Soul Candy, as the Shinigami Women's Association complained that the name "Artificial Soul" was not cute and had it changed. Modified Souls: Artificial souls designed to enhance regular Human physiology, making them capable of battling Hollows equally. The Mod-Souls are condensed into tiny, candy-like orbs and placed into corpses to achieve their function as soldiers to combat Hollows. The Mod-Souls were exterminated after the experiment was halted due to ethical reasons since they were intended to be used to reanimate Human corpses to use as weapons against the Hollows. But there are still a small amount left; namely Kon, Ririn, Kurōdo, and Noba. Kikanshinki (記換神機, Account-Replacing Spirit Device; Viz "Celestial Text Messenger"): A memory substitution device used on humans who have seen Shinigami or Hollows. Also called Kiokuchikan (記憶置換, Memory Replacement). When used, a bird's head pops from the top of the device and produces a puff of smoke. The Human it is used on is knocked unconscious and wakes up a while later with a new memory. However, the new memory that the Human acquires is random and often based on the limits of what they will believe. For example, Ichigo's family merely believed they slept through a truck crashing into their house when it was used on them. Conversely, Orihime Inoue, who has a much more active imagination, believed that her house was attacked by a yakuza gunman. A Substitute Shinigami (死神代行, Shinigami Daikō) is a human who became Shinigami by obtaining another Shinigami's power, or by going through a much harder and riskier process to transform him/herself into one. Obtaining another Shinigami's power is done by thrusting his/her Zanpakutō into the person's chest who wants to obtain the power. However, the percentage of success is low. In the case of success, the person normally obtains around half of the Shinigami's power, and only temporarily at that. The transferral of a Shinigami's powers to a Human is forbidden by the Soul Society. In the case of the individual borrowing the power being a Human, several difficulties arise, illustrated by the example of Ichigo. In order to be able to fight as a Shinigami, he has to leave his body and get into soul state, which can only be by use of a Gokon Tekkō or Soul Candy. In the former case, his body needs to be taken care of until he finishes his job and re-enters it. If a Substitute Shinigami appears, Soul Society gives that Shinigami a special badge which they use to monitor and restrict the Substitute. However, the Substitute is told that it is a license which is given to Substitutes that prove beneficial to Soul Society to allow them to do their work and identify them as a Substitute. The badge alerts the user if Hollows are nearby via an alarm sound which can only be heard by the owner and the item itself is only visible to other spiritually aware beings. The Badge can also allow the soul to leave the body. Shinigami who have gained Hollow abilities, through Hollowfication, and use those abilities to gain power far exceeding and beyond that of a normal Shinigami or Hollow. Initially treated as Hollow-adjacent and considered to be enemies of Soul Society, they are later formally recognized as Shinigami with some members occupying Lieutenant- or Captain-level positions in the Gotei 13. Lore of Zanpakutō: Zanpakutō is the main weapon of the Shinigami, used for various purposes such as defeating Hollows, sending spirits to the afterlife, or traveling through the Three Worlds. Apart from Shinigami, Hollows that have removed their masks and gained Shinigami powers, known as Arrancars, also wield Zanpakutō, though an Arrancar's Zanpakutō is fundamentally different from a Shinigami's. The art of wielding a Zanpakutō is called Zanjutsu (斬術, Swordsmanship), one of the four Shinigami combat styles in the Zankensoki. The Zanpakutō was conceived and invented by Ōetsu Nimaiya of the Royal Guard. He forges them using a method that melds a multitude of Shinigami souls together. Ironically, a similar method was used by Sousuke Aizen in his creation of his experimental Hollow, White. The terms "Zanpakutō," "Shikai," and "Bankai" were chosen and given by another member of the Royal Guard, Ichibe'e Hyōsube, whose Zanpakutō, Ichimonji, was also the first to gain an evolved form, then known as a "Shin'uchi." Lore of Hollowfication: Hollowfication (虚ホロウ化, Horōka) is the term used to describe the process by which the strength limit of a soul is increased by removing the boundary between Shinigami and Hollow. This allows one to gain tremendous power if their Hollowfication can be controlled, which is personified by an "inner Hollow" reflection of the person in their inner world. A Hollow-like mask appears when entering this state. Hollowfication is the act of inserting a Hollow's soul into a normal soul, then breaking the boundary between them to try and turn the original soul into something more powerful. Originally, this was meant to be used to strengthen a Shinigami's soul, but the technology that Soul Society possessed was not advanced enough to control it. The process by which to activate such a transformation can be achieved by three possible methods, though only two are known in any real detail. In any process, the main determination of having achieved Hollowfication is the manifestation of a Hollow mask. Lore of The Hōgyoku: Hōgyoku (崩玉, Crumbling Orb; Viz "Breakdown Sphere") is a small, bluish-purple orb composed of a unique substance thought to have been capable of dissolving the boundaries between Shinigami and Hollow, allowing one race to attain the powers of the other. However, its true power lies in its ability to sense the hearts of those around it and materialize their deepest desire. Two Hōgyoku are known to exist, the first invented by Sousuke Aizen and the second by Kisuke Urahara. Ultimately, Aizen merged his orb with the latter's, forming a single Hōgyoku. Some time before Kisuke Urahara even conceived the concept of the Hōgyoku, Sousuke Aizen, having already come to the same conclusion, had created one of his own. Realizing that it was still incomplete, Aizen presented to it the souls of hundreds upon hundreds of Shinigami and Rukongai citizens to no avail. In time, by analyzing the research data concerning Urahara's own Hōgyoku, Aizen learned that it was also incomplete. With this in mind, Aizen sought to steal Urahara's Hōgyoku and present it to his own. Roughly 101 years before his defection from Soul Society, Aizen put an experiment into motion which would put the true capabilities of the Hōgyoku to the test. With the help of his subordinates, he forcibly caused Shinji Hirako and a number of other Shinigami captains and lieutenants to undergo Hollowfication. In an attempt to reverse the damage Aizen had caused, Kisuke Urahara used the Hōgyoku on them. However, while it succeeded in stabilizing their souls, it failed to undo the Hollowfication. Framed for the incident by Aizen, Kisuke fled to the Human World with the group of Shinigami, bringing his Hōgyoku along with him. Eventually, the group of Shinigami, gaining control over their new-found Hollow powers, became known as the Visored, rogues rumored to have gained Hollow powers through illegal means. Location: The Human World, or the World of the Living, is where living Humans reside. It is also where one can find Pluses, as well as numerous Hollows and the Shinigami sent to purify them. Bordering Karakura Town on the west side, Naruki City is home to the headquarters of the Xcution group and is also where some of Ichigo's school friends live. A town in western Tokyo, Japan, where the Kurosaki Family lives. Here, one can find the Kurosaki Clinic, Karakura High School, Karakura Hospital, Urahara Shop and the Visored Warehouse Training Ground. Located over 20km east of Karakura Town, Kagimino City is a settlement in Japan. A large mansion in Japan that served as base of operations fo the Bount until they entered Soul Society. Located in the United Kingdom, London is home to Dragons that are controlled and protected by the agents of Wing Bind in Reverse London. Soul Society is the spirit world where Shinigami live and where most Souls dwell until they are reincarnated into the Human World. Seireitei is the city at the center of Soul Society where the Shinigami live. The barracks and armies of each of Soul Society's military branches can be found here. Rukongai is the area surrounding Seireitei in Soul Society, where most souls dwell until they are reincarnated into the Human World. It is divided into 80 districts in each of the north, south, east and west, including Junrinan, Hokutan, Inuzuri, Kusajishi, Zaraki and North Alley of Wandering Spirits. The Central 46 Compound is a highly restricted area in the Seireitei that serves as the headquarters of the Central 46. It contains an Underground Assembly Hall, the Seijōtōkyorin residential quarters and the Daireishokairō, the repository of all records and knowledge in Soul Society. Sometimes called the Shinigami Academy, the Shin'ō Academy is an institution founded by Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto which trains Souls with spiritual powers for each of the three military arms of Soul Society. The prison tower where those destined to be executed by the Sōkyoku are held. The Sōkyoku Hill is the large ediface at the centre of Seireitei where the Sōkyoku is used to perform executions. There is a Study Chamber underneath the Sōkyoku Hill. Founded by Kisuke Urahara, the SRDI is the principal scientific organization in Soul Society, performing tasks such as developing new technology as well as monitoring communications and activity that may affect the balance of the worlds. The Central Great Underground Prison is an eight underground prison underneath the First Division's barracks where Shinigami who broke the laws of Soul Society are sentenced to. Its levels include Shugo and Muken. The Nest of Maggots is an underground prison under the supervision of the Onmitsukidō that handles former Shinigami. The Senkaimon is a dimensional gateway which Shinigami use to enter and leave Soul Society. This is the primary residence of the Kuchiki Family, one of Soul Society's great noble families. The Gin Tonbo is a store in Seireitei that specializes in eye-wear. The official residence of the Soul King, located in a separate dimension within Soul Society and above Seireitei, accessible with the Ōken. Located within the Schatten Bereich, Silbern is the headquarters of the Wandenreich. It is part of a large city complex within which the Wandenreich bide their time until they are ready to attack Soul Society. Wahrwelt is the city that Yhwach created by connecting the various floating structures of the Soul King Palace to the Wandenreich city, intending for it to be the cornerstone of his new world. The Western Branch of Soul Society is accessed via Coin Gate, allowing travel between the United Kingdom capital city of London and Reverse London. It is a home of Dragons which are controlled and protected by the agents of Wing Bind. Hueco Mundo is the dimension in which Hollow and Arrancar usually reside. In perpetual darkness, it lies in between the Human World and Soul Society. Las Noches is the fortress located in Hueco Mundo which served as the base of operations of Sōsuke Aizen after his defection from Soul Society. Prior to this, the much less developed structure belonged to Baraggan Louisenbairn. The Tres Cifras is a part of Las Noches where the demoted Espada, or Privaron Espada, live. It consists of a number of areas in widely varied styles. During the Quincy Blood War, Kisuke Urahara establishes a temporary base at the Negal Ruins in Hueco Mundo from which he analysis the Wandenreich threat. The Forest of Menos is an area below the surface of Hueco Mundo's desert where the average Hollows hide from the Arrancar. Hell is the place where Hollows are sent if they were wicked when they were alive. Upon being purified by a Shingiami's Zanpakutō, the Gates of Hell appear and the Soul is dragged inside. The Garganta is the void between worlds; it is mainly used by Arrancar and Hollows to move between Hueco Mundo, the Human World, and Soul Society. The Dangai is the dimension between Soul Society and the Human World that non-Shinigami must pass through when travelling between the two realms. It is separated from space and time, and once served as a penal colony. Valleys of Screams are pockets of space, varying drastically in size, that are composed of souls ejected from the reincarnation cycle and reside in the space known as the Garganta. Lore of Bankai: Bankai (卍解, Final Release) is the second and final upgraded form of a Zanpakutō. Prior to Ichibe'e Hyōsube giving this form its name, it was known as a Shin'uchi (真打, True Strike), and when a Shinigami achieved it, they would possess an Evolved Zanpakutō (進化した斬魄刀, Shinkashita Zanpakutō). To achieve Bankai, one must be able to materialize and subjugate their Zanpakutō spirit. Materialization (具象化, Gushōka; Viz "Exteriorization") means the opposite of getting dragged into the Zanpakutō's inner world: the wielder needs to summon the Zanpakutō's spirit into the physical world. It usually takes 10 years or more to achieve, plus the experience needed to master it. Despite the Zanpakutō Spirit being subjugated for their Shinigami to learn Bankai, the Zanpakutō also becomes stronger and learns Bankai at precisely the moment their Shinigami learns it. Even though Bankai is the final stage of a Zanpakutō, it does not mean the Shinigami's growth ends there. A Bankai, especially one recently obtained, can evolve even further as its Shinigami gets stronger. Furthermore, obtaining Bankai allows a Shinigami to release their Shikai without calling its name, although some Shinigami still choose to release their Shikai by calling its name. The power and forms of Shikai and Bankai are dependent on the Zanpakutō and vary according to the wielder's strength and training, but the power of a Zanpakutō's Bankai is generally 5 to 10 times greater than that of its Shikai. As such, a Shinigami wielding a Shikai usually cannot hope to contend with, let alone win against one wielding a Bankai.[138] However, if the difference in power, skill and experience between the two is great enough, the more experienced one can block and at least temporarily incapacitate their opponent's Bankai with just Shikai or even Kidō, especially if their opponent has only recently achieved Bankai and lacks proper control over it. Only the strongest Shinigami can use Bankai, and it is the ultimate technique of a Zanpakutō. Even the four Noble Houses, whose members are always exceptionally talented, only have one member capable of Bankai every few generations. Those who achieve Bankai always have remarkable roles in the history of Soul Society. Ichigo Kurosaki and Kisuke Urahara are the only known individuals who have attained Bankai through a far shorter, yet much more dangerous method. Using a special device created by Kisuke known as a Tenshintai, which forcibly materializes a Zanpakutō Spirit (thus bypassing a large portion of the training), they attained their Bankai within three days instead of the normal ten or more years. After successfully testing the device and achieving Bankai, Kisuke stated training by using this method for more than three consecutive days could prove to be fatal, which is why Ichigo was forced to achieve his own Bankai within three days. As stated above, even if Bankai is the ultimate technique of a Zanpakutō, it can still evolve further, especially one obtained recently, like Ichigo Kurosaki's Tensa Zangetsu. Tōshirō Hitsugaya's Daiguren Hyōrinmaru is another example; despite the immense power Daiguren Hyōrinmaru's original form affords Hitsugaya, which allowed him to defeat and trap Tier Harribel, the Tres Espada in Sousuke Aizen's Arrancar army (even while injured), Shawlong Koufang noted that it still had room to grow due to Hitsugaya's young age compared to other Shinigami. However, Hitsugaya trained endlessly following Aizen's defeat, completing his Bankai after eighteen months of hard work. Once Daiguren Hyōrinmaru reached its full potential, Hitsugaya's completed Bankai allowed him to not only freeze physical objects and beings, but also concepts and powers; as such, anything he freezes with his ice will lose all its powers. Sometimes, Shinigami may not gain access to their real Bankai from the start due the Zanpakutō Spirit either suppressing most of their true power, as was the case for Ichigo Kurosaki with the original form of Tensa Zangetsu, or giving them a false name for the Bankai, as was the case for Renji Abarai with Hihiō Zabimaru. Despite these Bankai being weaker versions of what they should be, they are still powerful enough to be recognized as Bankai and can still be used against fully realized Bankai; Byakuya Kuchiki, who was the first person to fight both Renji and Ichigo's newly-achieved Bankai, stated that Hihiō Zabimaru was worthy of being called a Bankai, and, despite not believing Ichigo's original Tensa Zangetsu was a Bankai due to its simple katana form, he recognized it as such when he realized it compressed Ichigo's extraordinary power to greatly increase his speed (amongst other powers). Nevertheless, once the wielder demonstrates their power or resolve to their Zanpakutō Spirit, it will allow them access to their Bankai's full potential. In addition to a Bankai continuing to grow in power with its wielder, acquiring a new kind of power (especially one that enhances all of the Shinigami's other powers) will supplement the Bankai's own power. After defeating his inner Hollow and training with the Visored, Ichigo Kurosaki used his Hollowfication in combination with his Bankai to fight at the level of and win against several opponents. Indeed, according to both Sousuke Aizen and Kisuke Urahara, Hollowfication allows the Shinigami to exceed the limits of their power by breaking the boundary between the Hollow and Shinigami souls. During the Quincy Blood War, when Urahara learned that Hollows are poisonous to Quincy, he created the Shin'eiyaku, which introduces a small portion of Hollow spiritual power into Shinigami souls, causing the Bankai stolen by the Quincy with a Medallion to become Hollowfied. The newly Hollowfied Bankai (虚ホロウ化した卍解, Horōka shita Bankai) then gradually return to their wielders while harming or weakening the Quincy who stole them. This temporary Hollowfication also slightly altered the appearance of some Bankai while in effect, such as Daiguren Hyōrinmaru. After having his Bankai stolen by Bambietta Basterbine, Sajin Komamura learned the Humanization Technique (which made him temporarily immortal) from the elder of the Wolfman Clan to become stronger to face the invading Wandenreich. Later, he also received a Shin'eiyaku to regain Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō, which in turn also synchronized with the Humanization Technicque and became Kokujō Tengen Myō'ō: Dangai Jōe, becoming as invulnerable as its wielder. With Dangai Jōe, Komamura was easily able to defeat Bambietta even with her Schrift, The Explode, and Quincy: Vollständig activated. Mayuri Kurotsuchi, who regularily modifies both himself and his Zanpakutō, is the only individual to display a Modified Bankai (改造卍解, 'Kaizō Bankai'). With this, Mayuri can utilize a unique variant of his normal Bankai that adapts to the battle/situation upon activation. She stores her "treasures" in her hideout on the Kuchiki grounds. It seems that she uses the whole Association to order the other members around, who are made to do various, mostly childish pranks and other "tasks" to please her. Information of Yamamoto is a fair-skinned man of average height. The oldest captain in the Gotei 13, he has aged into a elderly man with a bald head, deep wrinkles, hooked nose, and pronounced cheekbones. He has red eyes, long eyebrows, long mustache, and a hip-length white beard secured by a purple band crossing down it. He has many scars on his body, with the two most prominent being a pair of long scars crossing above his right eye, one of which was left by his battle with his lieutenant. In addition to the standard black shihakushō, he wears a captain's long-sleeved haori draped over his back instead of actually wearing it, with its size being greatly exaggerated. Despite his old and frail demeanor, often standing in a slouch, he in fact has a very muscular and well-defined built, which he only reveals when serious for battle, something which Shunsui Kyōraku claims is not seen too often. After his confrontation with Sousuke Aizen, Yamamoto lost his left arm. As the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13, Yamamoto is highly respected by most of the Shinigami, most notably Sajin Komamura, who views Yamamoto as a benefactor who saved his life. The embodiment of conviction, Yamamoto follows the laws and regulations of Soul Society to the letter, and expects the same of others. He is not a man to tolerate insubordination, and is vocal with those who attempt to act in such a manner. He is quick to anger in the face of possible betrayal and can be quite aggressive in combat. He has a habit of referring to those he faces in battle as "youngster", and he refers to a battle as a "beating" or "punishment". When in a state of peace, he carries himself with an air of frailty, to the point where he fell asleep standing while awaiting Shunsui Kyōraku's arrival for a meeting. Due to years of experience, Yamamoto very rarely shows any sign of distress or surprise, usually responding by opening one or both of his eyes, which are partially closed slits for the majority of the time. Yamamoto is very loyal to Soul Society, and takes his duties very seriously, expecting the same from the rest of the Gotei 13. His loyalty is so great, he is willing to sacrifice himself and the Gotei 13 in order to defeat Aizen, believing it to be their duty to lay down their lives for the sake of the Soul Society if necessary. Yamamoto becomes visibly angry when Shunsui, Byakuya Kuchiki, and Kenpachi Zaraki lose their haori and show little regret: to him, the haori represents their status as captains. Inversely, he prefers not to involve allies who are not part of the Gotei 13 (particularly humans), as he requested Ichigo Kurosaki to move to safety, and did not request for Orihime Inoue to repair the left arm he sacrificed for Ittō Kasō. Despite his stern and steadfast personality, it is not to say he has no compassion and admiration, even for his enemies, as he was reluctant to strike down Wonderweiss Margela for his childish form and personality (only managing to get through this when Wonderweiss' Resurrección makes him no longer look like a child), and felt pity for him that Sousuke Aizen stripped him of all his higher mental capacities except emotions (mainly fear of death). He commended the Tres Bestias for their bravery of attacking him with only one arm each, and struck them down without killing them. Yamamoto felt particularly furious when Driscoll Berci utilized his lieutenant Chōjirō Sasakibe's stolen Bankai, considering the inferior power to that of the original wielder as an insult to Chōjiro's memories and hard work; Yamamoto brutally burned Driscoll to cinders, showing his immense respect for a longtime friend and subordinate. Yamamoto appreciates Eastern cultures, and is a master at the Japanese tea ceremony. He dislikes the Western traditions preferred by his lieutenant Chōjirō Sasakibe. Yamamoto holds a tea session every month in the 1st Division quarters for every member of his division. He plaits his own beard and arranges its ends once a month, and likes to be rubbed down with a dry towel while exposed to the sun on his balcony. Yamamoto was apparently shameful of his past actions. He once referred to a painting of his past self as a monster that brought the Soul Society further turmoil when it was in a period of instability. Yhwach noted 1000 years ago, Yamamoto was a demon himself, using any necessary means to defeat his enemies, and treated Humans and his own subordinates alike as expendable pawns; it was only after defeating the Quincy and attaining peace did Yamamoto live with honor and justice that led him to hesitate in sacrificing people heedlessly. Information of Tenjirō Kirinji: Kirinji is a lean-built and very tall man with black hair arranged into an outlandishly large pompadour, or "regent" hairstyle, with tapered sideburns. He also has wide, inward-tilting eyes with small pinprick pupils, and he also frequently chews on a small stick. He wears a modified version of the Shihakushō, which is sleeveless, cropped, and opened to expose his chest, with a cropped white jacket bearing the insignia of the Royal Guard and the detailing of a captain's haori around the hem. His attire is completed by black hakama, a yellow haramaki around his waist and a pair of waraji sandals without socks. Kirinji is boisterous and behaves like a stereotypical Yankī punk; speaking down to the Gotei 13 as if they are no more than children and is at times condescending to many of his fellow Shinigami peers including even captains. This patronizing attitude frequently results in him being disciplined by the rest of the Royal Guard, usually through physical force, with a strike to the head. He is also confident in his fighting abilities, being the first member of the Royal Guard to confront Yhwach upon his arrival to the Soul King Palace, and proclaiming that he wouldn't confront him if he didn't think victory was a possibility. Information of Senjumaru Shutara: Senjumaru has the appearance of a slender and youthful woman with fair skin and long, black hair that is adorned at the back by a large golden ornament in the shape of a crescent moon with numerous small lines radiating outwards. Senjumaru wears the standard Shinigami shihakushō beneath a white long-sleeved haori, over which she dons a further white robe fastened at the front near the center of her chest. Her height makes her the shortest among other members of Zero Division, but she wears a pair of extremely thick-soled okobo. She has six long, golden skeletal artificial arms attached to her back that she uses in place of her physical hands. Senjumaru is generally polite, reserved and serene, being one of the more emotionally calm and collected members of the Royal Guard. She acts somewhat playful on occasion and even disrespectful at times, providing a fanfare with several musical instruments upon the Royal Guards' arrival in Soul Society and taunting her old colleague Mayuri Kurotsuchi after breaking into his lab unannounced. She is also focused on the mission they have been given, seeing it through while other Royal Guard members talk with each other and the Gotei 13. She can be rather forceful as well, to the point of threatening, as she threatened to castrate Renji if he did not take off his fundoshi so she could fully measure his body for a new shihakushō. Senjumaru claims to be not as sadistic as Mayuri, and planned to show this by giving Uryū Ishida a quick death and a promise not to desicrate his corpse. Regardless, Senjumaru seems to despise Quincy, mockingly calling them a race "forsaken by the Soul King" and expressing a desire to exterminate their bloodline. Senjumaru's first-person pronoun of choice is the archaic warawa (妾). Senjumaru has a dark sense of humor. On one occasion, when Nianzol Weizol was talking about a bad habit of his, Senjumaru also said forgetting to remove her sewing needles that killed him is a bad habit of her's she just couldn't break. On another occasion, when Uryū broke free from her seal, she "offered" to help him go back to sleep by sewing his eyes shut. Information of Retsu Unohana: Unohana has the appearance of a slender and very youthful woman with blue eyes and black hair. She wears the standard Shinigami captain shihakushō apart from using an obi instead of the normal sash, which hides her well-endowed bosom. Her hair is long and is always worn as a large braid down the front of her body. Unohana has a gentle and warm personality that augments her appearance. Unohana is a soft-spoken, polite, and caring woman who uses honorifics when addressing everyone, including her subordinates and the enemy. She rarely shows any signs of panic or distress, and has a great sense of duty, shown in the times that she orders Hanatarō Yamada’s imprisonment and Isane Kotetsu’s chasing of Renji Abarai when he runs away with Rukia Kuchiki. Despite her sense of duty, she will also heal almost anybody around her, including Renji after he was defeated by his captain, Gantenbainne Mosqueda when she arrived in Hueco Mundo, and the Visored, referring to them as allies despite Shinji Hirako's reluctance to do so. With her grace and kind manners, she lets others know quietly that while she may be soft, she is not to be taken lightly. Despite her gentle nature, several members of the Eleventh Division and even her fellow Captains fear her. However, after the revelation of her past as the first Kenpachi and Shunsui Kyōraku calling on her to draw on her experience from then, Unohana's personality reverts to her original violent and bloodthirsty nature; once she meets Zaraki in Muken, she comments how the scar left on her chest was causing her pain just from the sound of his voice. Unohana herself says that she is infatuated with crossing blades, and firmly believes in taking any actions necessary — even sleight of hands such as hidden daggers — to get ahead in battle. According to Yhwach, Yachiru was infamous for being a brutal and cold-blooded killer,.which she demonstrated by massacring the Quincy of the Lichtreich when they first invaded Soul Society. Unohana likes strong-flavored food, preferring it to bland tasting dishes. In her free time, she climbs mountains throughout Rukongai; during these excursions, she collects medicinal herbs. Once a month, she holds an ikebana class for the members of her division and she is also the President of the Ikebana Club. Information of Bambietta Basterbine: Bambietta is a slender young girl with long, straight, dark brown hair and brown eyes. Her attire is a variation of the Sternritter's typical white uniform, consisting of the order's signature hooded cloak, a thigh-length trench coat, knee-high boots, a miniskirt, and black stockings with a red trim on her gloves and boots. She wears a red heart-shaped belt buckle and a white cap with gold trimmings, which features a black peak and the Wandenreich insignia emblazoned on its front. Bambietta is a particularly sadistic individual, evident in how she screams in joy as she slaughters her enemies. She is not above attacking her male subordinates to vent her frustration, sometimes bringing them into her room for "special relief" before killing them without remorse. She does not believe in fighting if one has already thrown away one's life. Bambietta refers to herself as the self proclaimed "leader" between her and some of her fellow Sternritter, and dislikes being abandoned by them and finds it quite embarrassing. In such cases she detonates the nearby environment in a destructive manner and implies she will reduce the area to flat land to bring them out. Bambietta has a strong sense of survival and self-preservation; during her second fight against Sajin Komamura, Bambietta was unable to understand the reasons for the lengths he went through in order to increase his power to kill Yhwach by offering his heart, with her stating her belief that the point of fighting is people not wanting to die and thus finding it incomprehensible for someone to throw away their life just to win a battle. Later after being severely injured by Komamura, Bambietta fell into panic due to knowing full well the repercussion of being defeated for a Sternritter and stating that she refuses to let it end like this. When about to be killed by Giselle to "save" her, Bambietta begged Giselle not to kill her, further highlighting her deep desire to survive. Later, upon being turned into a zombie by Giselle Gewelle, Bambietta's personality and behavior changes considerably. Though she retains her personality and a measure of free will, Bambietta has now become completely servile to Giselle and follows her orders without question, seemingly fearing punishment from Giselle, who frequently abuses her. This results in Bambietta adopting an almost childlike mentality, referring to herself as "Bambi" and attempted to avoid punishment from Giselle by trying to convince her that she has been a "good girl". Information of Liltotto Lamperd: Liltotto is a petite young girl with chin-length blonde hair and golden eyes. Her attire is a variation of the Sternritter's typical white uniform, consisting of a skirt in place of the signature trench coat, gloves, patterned leggings, and a white cap with gold trimmings, which features a black peak and the Wandenreich insignia emblazoned on its front. She also wears a golden heart buckle on her waist. Liltotto normally speaks in a very flat tone. Despite her child-like appearance, Liltotto is quite profane, calling Bambietta Basterbine and Candice Catnipp "bitches". Because of her power, she frequently comments on how her opponents "taste", and demeans them if they do not taste good to her. Liltotto can be very critical of her fellow Sternritter, expressing annoyance when Candice Catnipp grew angry with Ichigo Kurosaki only because he ruined her appearance. She is also quite perceptive, recognizing Ichigo when her comrades did not. Liltotto can be ruthless and vengeful, even towards a fellow Sternritter, as she killed PePe Waccabrada for trying to kill her and her comrades while ignoring his pleas and screams. Showing that she does genuinely care for her comrades and friends. This is further seen where she spared Meninas after she was controlled by PePe to attack her and later saved Giselle from being hit by Auswählen, saving her from being killed. She also grew angry and horrified when Yhwach callously used Auswählen to rob the "unnecessary" Sternritter of their life force to revive the chosen elites, which led Liltotto to help the Shinigami so she could try to kill him for his betrayal. Information of Meninas McAllon: Meninas is an imposingly tall and well-endowed girl of slender build. She is light-skinned with long wavy pink hair and short bangs that frame her forehead and pink eyes. Her attire is a variation of the Sternritter's typical white uniform, consisting of a frilled skirt, frilled gloves, frilled boots, leggings, a belt with a heart-shaped buckle, a large purple bow with a white Wandenreich symbol around her neck, and a white cap with gold trimmings, which features a black peak and the Wandenreich insignia emblazoned on its front, turned sideways. After being zombified by Giselle, Meninas' skin takes on a darker hue and her eyes turn red. Her Vollständig now takes on the form of pink skulls on her shoulders with small flares on her arms and legs. She also gains a pair of horns that emit from the sides of her head. Like other Sternritter members, Meninas is loyal to Yhwach and is willing to attack Ichigo Kurosaki to prevent him from reaching her leader and interfering with his plans.[8] She finds PePe Waccabrada to be a disgusting man. She holds a great deal of pride as a warrior, as she felt insulted when Rukia Kuchiki turned her back to go help her brother, but did not hesitate to strike her from behind. She can also be rather innocent and blissfully ignorant, as shown when she bid farewell to an unconscious Rukia, only to quickly realize that she couldn't hear her. Meninas has also shown a sense of camaraderie with her fellow Sternritters, especially to the four she is close friends with. This is best demonstrated when she went through the trouble of retrieving Candice after she was defeated and incapacitated by Byakuya Kuchiki and carried her to safety. Information of Candice Catnipp: Candice is a tall and well-endowed young woman with long, light-green hair. She has blue eyes, prominent eyelashes, and thin, lightning-bolt shaped eyebrows. Her attire is a heavily modified and revealing variation of the regular Sternritter's white uniform, consisting of the typical double-breasted jacket, which she keeps tied up to reveal her midriff and unbuttoned, as well as removing the fabric on the sides, to display her cleavage, and a pair of short-shorts which are held up by a black belt with a green heart-shaped buckle attached to the side. She also wears a white cap on her head with gold trimmings, which features a black peak and the Wandenreich insignia emblazoned on its front, and a pair of bulky, shaft-heeled boots. Candice has a very short temper, as shown when she got annoyed at Bambietta for her habit of killing attractive male soldiers when irritated and then proceeded to get angry at Giselle for teasing her about her supposed tendency of having "fun" with her subordinates. She cares a great deal for her appearance, going as far as to get up hours before everyone else to do her hair, and cannot stand having it ruined in battle. Candice is also very shortsighted, reckless, and impatient; this volatile nature coupled with her horrible judgement of the situation causes her to make foolhardy decisions when engaging stronger opponents. Information of Giselle Gewelle: Giselle has blue eyes and long, black hair extending down to her lower back, with two strands sticking up like antennae. Her attire is a variation of the Sternritter's typical white uniform, consisting of a trench coat with long sleeves, white shoes, and black leggings. She wears a small white cap, which features a black peak and the Wandenreich insignia emblazoned on its front, on the side of her head. She also wears a blue heart buckle on her waist. Giselle has a cheerful and nonchalant attitude. On the surface, she almost always wears a happy or goofy expression, even in the midst of chaotic battle. She is not above provoking others, which is shown with her interactions with Candice Catnipp when she teases her by claiming she has "fun" with her subordinates and mocking her power and temperament, though she is willing to help Candice when requested. Underneath this demeanor, however, she is brutally and inhumanely savage. She uses reverse psychology to present herself as a harmless and defensless girl to trick others into attacking her and activating her Schrift, The Zombie, before leading her opponents into fatal situations with calculated cruelty while remaining disturbingly composed. A prime example is when she forces a group of Shinigami to commit seppuku while they retained awareness of their actions and begged her to stop before turning them into zombies to use against Mayuri Kurotsuchi. She attempts to do this against Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa as well, though they easily see through her act. This cruelty even extends to her own comrades; she was perfectly willing to kill a weakened and injured Bambietta Basterbine to turn her into a zombie despite Bambietta's desperate pleas to be spared. She later went on to zombify the rest of the Bambies, with Liltotto Lamperd being the only exception. Giselle is also a necrophiliac, which is made evident when she hugs Bambietta's dead body after summoning it. Though she claims not to be a sadist, she becomes overjoyed when Candice asks her to regenerate her arm, only to be disappointed when she realizes she's meant to do so without zombifying her. Likewise, she openly expresses how seeing Bambietta's face when she killed her "[made her] so wet," and she later proceeds to suck her blood and fawn over how cute she was, even in death. She is also very abusive towards her zombies when they get on her nerves. When Bambietta begged for more blood, Giselle smacked her and called her a "disgusting mess" before grabbing her by the hair and assuring her that she could have her treat once they dealt with Mayuri. Similarly, when Bambietta asked Giselle not to take too much of her blood out of concern for her own life, Giselle smashed her face into the ground while reminding her that she was already dead and that her blood belonged to her. Though Giselle displays clear insanity and harshness towards her treatment of her friends, she still cares about them, albeit in her own twisted way. She restored Candice's arm after it was destroyed by Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsuga Jūjishō, as well as Bambietta's during her clash with the Arrancars. After Bambietta's defeat by Sajin Komamura, she tells her that she and the Bambies would be sad to see her go and that they will "take care of her,"[18] which, as previously mentioned, happens to involve zombifying Bambietta against her wishes. When she calls upon the zombified Bambietta to come help her, she hugs her and shows appreciation when she tells her that she will protect her. Additionally, when Giselle believes she has beaten Bambietta to death, she tells her that she is very cute when she's dead and that she loves her very much. Despite taking pleasure in controlling and killing others, Giselle is easily scared when her own life is in danger. When Yhwach used Auswählen on the Wandenreich, killing several Quincy in the process, she repeatedly promised Bambietta that she wouldn't die, showing a rare moment of fear and desperation. She does not take kindly to insults, as she was offended when Yumichika assumed she was a man reeking of semen pretending to be a woman, causing her to call Bambietta to blast him and Ikkaku away in response. She also seems to have a high opinion of herself, expressing annoyance when Mayuri calls her a common folk. Giselle was initially loyal to Yhwach and was willing to do whatever it took to satisfy him, having at one point fantasized about receiving what she wanted as a reward for killing Ichigo, the Number One Special War Power. However, after Yhwach used Auswählen to empower his Sternritter while purging the weaker Quincy, Giselle felt betrayed and turned against him. She eventually cooperated with the Shinigami to help take down Yhwach and Jugram Haschwalth, even going so far as to slaughter the Soldat opposing her and the Bambies on their way to confront Yhwach in Wahrwelt. Information of Lilynette Gingerbuck: Lilynette is a young-looking female Arrancar. Her outfit consists of white-colored briefs with a black line positioned in the middle, arm-warmers, a revealing vest with a high collar and thigh-high, fur-lined boots. Her Hollow hole is positioned in the center of her stomach. The remainder of her Hollow mask is the form of a helmet, with two horns on the top of her head. The left horn looks as if it has been cut off and the left half of the mask covers her left eye. Her right eye is light pink, with the left eye covered by her Hollow mask and a flame design over the eye socket and she also has light green hair arranged in a very basic manner. Lilynette can be both cheerful and mischievous at the same time. She enjoys waking Coyote Starrk up in unusual ways, such as shoving her fingers down his throat. Despite her childish behavior, she does have a more serious side, as she is concerned about the ominous occurrences in Hueco Mundo and shows sorrow over Aaroniero Arruruerie being killed. She is rather proud, taking offense when underestimated due to her appearance. Her relationship with Starrk is also unique among the Espada and their subordinates, appearing more comical and lighthearted. She does not address him with the usual "-sama" suffix (a Japanese honorific similar to Lord or Master), as the other subordinates generally do for their respective Espada and simply calls him by his name. As such, she is more like a younger sister than a servant to Starrk. Despite this familiarity, Lilynette does show a certain degree of respect for Starrk and knows of his true power, even when he chooses to be humble about it (or is simply too lazy to show it), to the point of being outraged at him allowing Baraggan Louisenbairn to lead the battle against the Shinigami in Karakura Town, knowing Starrk is higher in rank and power than him. In their separated forms, Lilynette retains all self-motivation and drive, while Starrk himself has next to none. Information of Riruka Dokugamine: Riruka is a young, slender girl with magenta eyes and long hair of matching color, tied into two pigtails, and between which she wears a light-colored hat that has two extensions in the back, made to look like rabbit's ears. A strand of hair hangs down the right side of her face and she has a fringe over her forehead. She also wears a dark dress with white fabric over her breasts with a dark ribbon just above it. She completes her outfit with a pair of thigh-length boots. Confident and somewhat playful, Riruka is an impatient, hot-tempered young girl that unleashes her rage even towards her comrades if they disagree with her. She claims to be with her group only for her own agenda and not out of any loyalty to Kūgo Ginjō. She is extremely talkative and likes having an ongoing one-sided conversation about irrelevant topics. She suffers from extreme myopia but avoids wearing glasses out of her vanity and claims contact lenses make her large eyes go dry too fast. She also has a deep seated belief in her "Survival of the Fittest" which she claimed was not truly survival of the fittest, but rather being part of the majority which dictated the predators of mankind. Information of Dark Rukia: Being a combination of Rukia, Homura and Shizuku, Dark Rukia possesses physical qualities from each of the three. She is dressed in a tattered, casual white kimono with what seems to be a long-collared red cape on her back. Her eyes have become cat-like and lavender, as well as her hair. She is barefoot and wears a golden cloth around her waist. Being born from the siblings who erased all of Rukia's memories, Dark Rukia retains none of her former personality and instead seems to be dominated entirely by a fusion of Homura and Shizuku's consciousness. She seeks to destroy all Shinigami, a desire spawned from the siblings' hatred of them and their wish to keep Rukia for themselves. Information of Mashiro Kuna: Mashiro's appearance is that of a young woman with hazel eyes. she wore the standard Shinigami shihakushō, although her sleeves were much long. She also wore a pink scarf and a pair of sunglasses perched atop of her hair, which was wavier then. Despite having formerly attained a position in the elite Gotei 13, Mashiro has very childish and immature mannerisms. She is portrayed as rather flighty and rarely takes note of the bigger picture around her. She is prone to throwing fits over the smallest of things, such as Orihime Inoue befriending Hachigen Ushōda or when Kensei insisted on following his subordinates into battle. Her childish personality frequently irritates her captain Kensei Muguruma, causing him to question why he kept her as a lieutenant at the time; he has noted she is capable of annoying him even while asleep. Mashiro is an air-head and shows many comedic acts. She is implied to have perverted thoughts about Kensei, as she's shown touching her breast and calling him a "bad boy" in her sleep while dreaming about him. She often calls Ichigo "Berry-tan" (Berry Boy in the English manga, Carrot-Top in the English dub anime), a play on Ichigo's name. She seems to be good friends with Hachi, instantly disliking it when Orihime befriends him. In battle, she is somewhat more serious though, acting slightly like a superhero while attacking and after winning. Information of Nemu Kurotsuchi: Nemu is a young woman with a slender, well-endowed figure and green eyes. Her black hair is tied back in a long braid with slightly parted bangs. She wears a short black kimono that reaches mid-thigh and a white nagajuban underneath. The sleeves of her kimono are not as wide as those worn by most Shinigami, and the upper parts of the sleeves are puffed. She wears a traditional wide white obi, fastened with a red obijime. On her left sleeve, she has her lieutenant's armband. She wears white gloves that cover the back of her hands and wrists, and a dark red choker. For footwear, she wears white tabi as and black low-heeled sandals with many straps. In her childhood, she had untidy hair and used to wear a white kimono. Because she was abused and mistreated in every possible way by her "father/creator", Mayuri, Nemu is a very shy, withdrawn, and introverted individual, preferring to stay silent in her captain's presence. Her expression is almost always melancholic, and it is rare to see her smile or show any real joy in her distinctive green eyes. Despite Mayuri's seeming lack of care for her existence, she is very loyal to him, willing to badly injure herself just to give him an advantage in battle. Unlike her "father", however, she seems to have compassion for others, saving Uryū Ishida's life as thanks for not killing Mayuri. Being the daughter of Mayuri, they share several similar traits. One such trait is their food preference. Nemu, just like her father, likes pike fish and dislikes onion. They share an interest in Human experimentation and their main free-time activity, which is reading every single character published in Seireitei Communication. Nemu is being considered to be the next vice-president of the Shinigami Women's Association, supposedly because she carries out President Yachiru Kusajishi's orders just as faithfully as those of her father. Such orders included building hidden tunnels and a hideout on the Kuchiki grounds for the members of the association to use. Surprisingly, Nemu shows great joy at the prospect, displaying otherwise repressed emotions.
