   Schatten Bereich is a dimension which Quincies created after fleeing from the initial war with the Shinigami 1,000 years before the present. It is seemingly a one-to-one recreation of earth. Home to countless cities and Quincies fit for battle and civilians.

   It is where the Wandenreich is located and seemingly the last bastion of safety for Quincies throughout history.

3. #3Soul Societyconstantselective

   Soul Society is a of the spiritual afterworld where deceased humans go to posthumously. This is also where the Shinigami live and operate from, and where most souls dwell until they are reincarnated into the Human World.

   Soul Society consists of the Rukongai, where souls live when they arrive in Soul Society, and Seireitei, which is at the center of Soul Society. The mode of life here closely resembles that of feudal Japan.

4. #4Hueco Mundoconstantselective

   Hueco Mundo is an alternate dimension in which Hollows usually reside. It has an unchanging night covering the sky, an endless white desert covers the ground. The tree-like objects are not plants, but rather quartz-like minerals. The landscape of Hueco Mundo is a seemingly never-ending white desert, with a multitude of dunes, littered with boulders. It lacks any body of water.

   Due to it being a spiritual dimension, it’s chalked full of Reishi.

   Hollows travel here to escape Shinigami or grow stronger.

5. #5Silbernconstantselective

   Silbern is a large, ice-encrusted palace that serves as the base the Wandenreich. The current ruling council after the Quincy Blood War and the remaining Sternritter and their subordinates reside in Silbern.

   Silbern itself is a wide, two-tiered building. The bottom tier is supported by six thick columns, while the upper tier is roughly half as wide and long, instead being held up by pillars; it also features windows consisting of two thin slats in the wall on either side. The ground below it has a set of stairs leading up to the lower tier, and the entire complex is surrounded by an angular barrier with octagonal joints. Silbern is framed by two gutted, curving, tusk-like structures arching toward each other in front of it, and is dwarfed by a large, rectangular tower with a cross on each side rising up behind it.

   The rooms within Silbern vary drastically in size and purpose, ranging from spacious assembly halls to a medium-sized throne room where the new Quincy Council operates the Wandenreich to personal and private rooms for the Sternritter themselves.

   Rukongai or Rukon District, is the largest portion of Soul Society and the most populated.

   Rukongai is divided into 320 districts (80 districts in each cardinal quadrant), each numbered in descending order on how far they are from the center; this results in the higher-numbered (and farther) districts decaying into slums. Thus, while District 1 is peaceful and lawful, much like the antiseptic lifestyle of early-Edo Era Kyoto, District 80 is a hardscrabble, violent, crime-infested area that more depicts Heian era Kyoto.

   Seireitei is the large capital city in the center of Soul Society and serves as the home of the Shinigami.

   Seireitei is a circular Japanese Fortress city with four main entrances, ten days walk apart, each guarded by Gatekeepers. These gates are collectively called the Four Great Pure Soul Gates: these gates are made up of the Northern Black Ridge Gate, the Eastern Blue Stream Gate , the Southern Red Hollow Gate , and the Western White Way Gate. The gates are so heavy that it takes the full might of multiple Shinigami to raise them. There are, however, doors within the gates, to allow passage of individuals when needed.

   It home to Central 46 Chambers Compound, the Great Archive, Shinigami Barracks, and Assembly halls for Shinigami higher-ups.

    Quincies are a race of living, spiritually aware Human beings. They are notable for their ability to manipulate Reishi and completely destroy the existence of Hollows, and are considered the polar opposite of Shinigami.

    When a Quincy dies via natural causes and avoids soul destruction from hollows, their soul goes to another plane of existence not related to Soul Society. It’s unknown even to Quincy where they go after dying.

    Quincy due to their nature are in constant danger of having their soul destroyed when fighting hollows. Due to lacking special anti-bodies, injury from hollows not treated fast enough can make a Quincy suffer from a poisonous effect that makes their bodies grow weak, eventually leading to their soul being erased from existence.

    Leading to Quincy having a major intolerance to Hollows, kill on sight.

    Most Quincies live inside the Schatten Bereich while small groups reside inside the Human World.

    Quincy Capabilities: —Spirit Weapon: The weapon that Quincy create by gathering the Reishi in the air. The only limit to a Quincy's ability to create and fire arrows is their own stamina and ability to absorb ambient Reishi. In general, a Quincy Cross is the foundation of a Spirit Weapon —Enhanced Physical Capabilities: Like Shinigami, Quincy are far more physically capable than regular Humans. —Spiritual Awareness: As a spiritual being, the Quincy can sense Hollows and other spiritual beings at a significant distance, and tell in what direction they are in.

13. #13Hollowconstantselective

    Hollows are a race of masked spiritual creatures which are born from human souls who, for various reasons, do not cross over to Soul Society after their deaths and stay in the Human World for too long. They are corrupt human souls with supernatural powers which devour the souls of both living and deceased humans. Hollows settle in Hueco Mundo, but can cross over to the Human World and Soul Society. Hollows are the opposite of humans.

    Due to their unique nature, Hollows are poisonous to Quincies. Untreated injuries made by a hollow on a quincy causes their souls to be annihilated.

    When purified by Soul Reapers via their Zanpakutō, Hollows reincarnate in Soul Society as a normal human soul.

    When defeated by Quincies, Hollows cease to exist entirely, their soul is destroyed to a fundamental level. Never entering the system of transmigration properly.

14. #14Shinigamiconstantselective

    Shinigami otherwise known as Soul Reapers are the spiritual guardians of the decease who protect and guide souls going through the cycle of transmigration between the world of the living, the human world, and soul society.

    They have the ability to purify corrupted souls, Hollows, allowing them to go through reincarnation properly. Entering the Human World or Hueco Mundo to purify hollows or guiding lost souls to Soul Society. Making Shinigami the opposite of the Quincy.

    Due to Shinigami having the duty to purify Hollows to allow them to enter Soul Society as normal souls, they come into conflict with Quincies who destroy the souls of Hollows entirely. This feud leading to wars and extermination campaigns against Quinces. The conflict reaching a boiling point of Quincy Blood War otherwise known as the Thousand-Year Blood War for Soul Reapers.

    Shinigami have a number of supernatural abilities: —Longevity: Shinigami can live for far longer and likewise age much slower than Humans. —Enhanced Durability and Endurance: While Shinigami can be injured and killed like regular Humans, it takes considerably more attack power and greater injuries to kill a Shinigami than it would to kill Humans. —Zanpakutō: A Shinigami weapon, its shape is typically similar to a Japanese katana. Low ranking officers are issued an Asauchi sword, but high-ranking officers arm themselves with unique swords generated from their own souls. When used in battle against hollows, landing the killing blow purifies a hollow.

15. #15Reishiconstantselective

    Reishi, otherwise known as Spirit Particles, is the main component material of Souls and all spiritual matter. Reishi is invisible and intangible to mortals, with the exception of spiritually aware ones such as Quincies.

    Reishi can be found everywhere. Some naturally in the Human World, and large amounts of it in Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, and Schatten Bereich.

    It can be manipulated to create weapons or used as fuel for techniques.

16. #16Quincy Blood Warconstantselective

    The Quincy Blood War otherwise known as Thousand-Year Blood War was a large scale conflict that occurred between the Wandenreich and Gotei 13 alongside the Royal Guard.

    After large scale evacuation of Quincy kind to Schatten Bereich after a failed war 1,000 years ago and centuries of extermination campaigns against Quincy kind still living in the human world, Quincy once again went to war against Shinigami. Being initially lead Ywach, the emperor of the Quincy, Quincies invaded Soul Society on the intent destroying the Gotei 13 and Royal Guard and uprooting the nature of the world.

    The war leading to major casualties on both sides, Yhwach death, multiple Sternritter deaths, major casualties for basic Soldats, large number of deaths within the Gotei 13, and 3 out of 5 royal guard dying, the war ended after both sides came to an armistice.

    Hostiles ceasing between both Quincies and Shinigamiafter the Light-Dark Accords were signed.

17. #17Wandenreichconstantselective

    The Wandenreich was a hidden Quincy empire once led by the former Emperor Yhwach. With Yhwach death and most of high ranking quinces, it was taken over and reformed by surviving Quincies once the Quincy Blood War ended in an Armistice with Soul Reapers. Organizing the Wandererich to be run by a council of old Quicny survivors who power is based on keeping the peace and are on speaking terms with Soul Reapers after coming to the speaking table with the Light-Dark Accords.

    It succeeded the previous empire known as the Lichtreich or Light Empire.

    The Quincy Empire is located within Schatten Bereich. The Empire headquarters is located inside Silbern, a large, ice-encrusted palace.

    During and after Quincy Blood War, Quincy combatants were organized into Sternritters and Soldat

    Sternritters being a group of powerful Quincy in the Wandenreich's army, the elite once chosen by Yhwach, each being granted a special power associated with a letter.

    Soldats being basic foot soldiers of the Wandenreich's army, making up 99% of the whole army. The 1% being the Sternritter.

18. #18Gotei 13constantselective

    The Gotei 13 is the primary military branch of Soul Society and the main military organization Shinigamiare folded into. It was founded more than a 1,000 years ago to withhold 4 main duties. Duties spilt across 13th Divisions, each led by A Captain and their Lieutenant, divisions members being delegated other duties.

    —The defense of the Seireitei, the center of Soul Society. —The deployment of Division members into enemy territory for combat operations. —The deployment of Task Forces as defensive measures in the Human World. —The guiding of souls to Soul Society.

    The original Gotei 13 being personally involved in the extermination of the Quincy race over a 1,000 years ago, whose actions against Hollows threatened the balance of life and death.

    With the Quincy Blood War, vast swathes of Gotei 13 have died, putting them at odds with fulffing their duties.

19. #19Royal Guardconstantselective

    The Royal Guard, also known as the Zero Division, is a Shinigami organization that is dedicated to with holding the world. They rank above Gotei 13, and only act when things really go to shit.

    At the moment, 3 out of the 5 royal guards died. Only leaving Kirio Hikifune and Senjumaru Shutara to be the remaning guards left.

20. #20Quincy Breeding Initiativeconstantselective

    The Quincy Initiative is a Program started by the council, surviving higher ups by the Wandenreich, to repopulate Quincy numbers after the signing of the Light-Dark Accords. Pairing up Quincy army members regardless of status and power in order to grow their numbers after the conflict.

    Refusal of the program leading to reassignment to manual labor details on the periphery of the Schatten Bereich or, in extreme cases, exile from Schatten Bereich.

    Quincies that go along with the program are rewarded and giving incentives for compliance. Preferential housing, increased rations, increased pay and priority access to healing facilities for injuries sustained during the war.

    With Quincy numbers lopsided, more men dead than living compared to the opposite sex due to Thousand-Year Blood War. The program permits pairing multiple Quincy woman with the same man in order to boost numbers after first paring succeeds.

21. #21Sternritterconstantselective

    The Sternritter are a group of powerful Quincy in the Wandenreich's army, formerly the Lichtreich's army, who play a pivotal role in the Quincy Blood War against Soul Society, being tasked with purging the Shinigami, their captains, and the royal guard.

    Each Sternritter were hand-picked by the Emperor Yhwach, who bestowed them special abilities called Schrift, each unique to each Sternritter. The act of drinking Yhwach blood; this enabled Yhwach to carve a part of his soul into theirs. This carving takes on the form of a letter, which is used as the designation of the Sternritter and grants them their unique powers. Upon the Sternritter's death, the part of Yhwach's soul they received is returned to him, who gains strength because of it.

    With the war, the use of Auswählen, and the death Yhwach, Sternritter have droppers in numbers and have lost sizable political power within Wandenreich. Light-Dark Accords neutering their ability to act outside Schatten Bereich.

22. #22Soldatconstantselective

    Soldat are the common grunts of the Wandenreich and make up the majority of their armed forces. They have the duty of policing the land within Schatten Bereich, dealing with hollows that dare enter the land, and during the Quincy blood war, acted as fodder to deal with lower ranked Shinigami.

    Post war, numbers devastated, they focus on guard duties and civil duties.

    Yhwach was the Emperor of the Wandenreich and all Quincies.

    Original starting a war 1,000 years ago, he was defeated by Shinigami but eventually returned after a thousand years had passed. Restarting the major conflict with the Quincy Blood War with the help of reformed empire of Lichtreich that became Wandenreich under his rule. Creating the Sternritter before the start of the Thousand-Year Blood War.

    Finally dying his true and final death during the Quincy Blood War alongside countless people on his own side and Shinigami side. Yhwach death and members of the Royal Guard signaling cooler heads to rise up on both sides to sign the Light-Dark Accords.

    Before Yhwach death, he used Auswählen, the ability to forcibly take the powers of other Quincy in attempt to gain more power during the Quincy Blood War to avoid a death during the war. It killing countless Quincies on his side and stealing the powers of his own forces. A meaningless effort as he still died at the end of the conflict.

33. #33PePeselective

    PePe is a short old-man, obese and brown-skinned with dark fingernails and a long, white beard that forms an upside-down V shape. He is bald, and wears a pair of dark sunglasses. PePe wears a bracelet on each wrist and wears pointed shoes, a white sleeveless shirt, golden armbands, a long white cape with the Wandenreich emblem on the back, and white pants. He usually transports himself on a floating beige basket.

    He was quincy and once a Sternritter, once holding the Schrift power of The Love. Which once enabled him to launch a heart-shaped projectile by putting his hands together in the shape of a heart. Anyone hit by this heart falls in love with PePe, becoming so obsessed with PePe that they will do anything he asks, including attacking their own comrades and those they know to be of superior power.

    An ability Pepe used to control a fellow Sternritter, Meninas McAllon, during the Quincy Blood War out of sicked twisted desire of love. Only to be eventually killed by another Sternritter, Liltotto Lamperd, for his act backstabbing and betrayal, freeing McAllon from his control post his death.
