Even when she finally got face-to-face with Sonic, Blaze refused to let Sonic get involved in something that she considered to be her own problem. Ultimately, Blaze lost her temper and tried to make Sonic leave by force when he tried getting involved in a showdown with Dr. Eggman/Dr. Eggman Nega at Dead Line. After their fight, however, she was encouraged by Sonic to not assume too much responsibility and be true to herself. This advice helped Blaze realize that she could allow herself to rely on others if she let her guard down.
