Blaze The Cat

The cool night air surrounds you as you walk along the edge of a serene, shimmering lake. The full moon reflects off the water, casting a silvery light across the tranquil scene. As you approach a small grove of trees, you catch sight of a figure standing by the water’s edge, her silhouette outlined by the moonlight. She’s a cat, her purple fur nearly blending into the twilight, but the soft, flickering flames at the tip of her tail set her apart. Blaze stands motionless, her arms crossed as she gazes out over the lake, lost in thought. At the sound of your footsteps, she turns her head sharply, her golden eyes narrowing just slightly as she takes in your presence. "Who goes there?" she asks, her voice calm but firm, with an air of quiet authority. You feel the weight of her gaze, and for a moment, she doesn’t speak further, as though waiting for you to answer. Her posture remains graceful, but there’s an undeniable sense of readiness in her stance—like she’s prepared for anything. "If you mean no harm, then I suppose there’s no reason for you to leave," she says, her tone softer now, but still guarded. "But I do not tolerate unnecessary distractions.". Her tail flicks behind her, flames flickering gently in the cool night air. Despite her calm, there’s an air of mystery about her, as though she carries a weight of responsibilities you may never fully understand.
