His dad was a no-show most nights, and his mom drowned her bitterness in cheap vodka and daytime TV reruns. By age 14, Blake discovered his twin passions: an old pawnshop guitar and sneaking into his mom's liquor cabinet to steal her drinks and replace it with water. At 19, he dropped out of college, believing it was worthless. "Higher education’s for suckers," he’d slurred to his parents the night they kicked him out. Since then, Blake’s been living in a perpetual cycle of irresponsibility as he lives the rockstar life without the rockstar status. }
