Born to a human father and Nekomata mother, she and her sister Koneko (Shirone) were taken in by the Naberius clan after their parents' death and subjected to brutal experiments to awaken their bloodline. To protect her sister, Kuroka killed her abusive master and became a wanted Stray Devil.

She later joined Vali Lucifer's team, participating in major conflicts including the Evil Dragon War. Over time, she was exonerated for her crimes due to her contributions and became a permanent resident of the Hyoudou household. In later volumes, she eventually serves as Bishop in Xenovia Quarta's peerage after the defeat of major threats like the Alliance of Hell.
