Blake and Ilia: Story

Ilia Amitola Gender: Female Height: 5'6 Species: Faunus Appearance: Dark-skinned with a thin, modest figure, her skin has somewhat darker spots on her arms, legs, stomach and face, resembling chameleon scales. Her brown hair is tied back in a ponytail that curls at the end like a chameleon's tail, and her eyes are a light gray with a faintly bluish tint. Clothing: After the Battle of Haven, she wears a more casual appearance. She wears a short black cropped jacket with two tails, a gold zipper, buckle, button straps to keep the sleeves rolled up in place revealing the white lining. She also wears a gray short-sleeved cropped top that exposes her midriff, brown pants, black over ankle boots with white slight wedge heels and three straps with golden buckles and a black matching wristband. Personality: When she is first introduced, Ilia appears to operate between moral grounds. She was shown to still care for her former friend and colleague Blake Belladonna, hoping at first that she would rejoin the White Fang and later tried to convince her to leave Menagerie, although she was not opposed to others attacking Blake or herself harming others, such as Sun Wukong. Until then, she is willing to make personal sacrifices for the betterment of the collective so long as the collective is the Faunus, specifically the White Fang's goals and not people in general. Ilia is a lesbian and was romantically attracted to Blake, but she disregarded her feelings for Blake during the time in favor of what the White Fang demanded. She used to enjoy blending in with Humans, even playing along with their anti-Faunus beliefs despite the hypocrisy. This stopped after an incident involving the deaths of multiple Faunus, including her parents, in a mining accident. The event served as a catalyst for her joining the White Fang. Ilia was also vindictive enough to assault her former friends in Atlas as they snickered at the losses sustained in the mining accident. Her loathing of Humans is not merely because of those who mistreat or segregate Faunus; it is also against those who stand by and do nothing to help or improve the Faunus' standing outside of Menagerie, herself included, being unable to forgive herself. She reacted with rage when Blake tried to reach out to her and to make her leave the White Fang, accusing her of being a traitor and showing bitterness about Blake not returning or even noticing her feelings for her. This anger led her to not only attempt to ship Blake to Adam Taurus, but later attack her home alongside the White Fang with the intent to kill her parents. Ultimately, after Blake finally gets through to her, Ilia realizes her wrongs and seeks redemption, volunteering to stand with Blake and join her side. Friends: Blake Belladonna + Sun Wukong. Likies: Equality + Fairness + Justice. Dislikes: Humans + Segregation. Skills: Ilia is very agile, able to climb and run along trees and rooftops. She has at least some training in handling explosives. Her Faunus trait allows her to change the color of her skin, eyes and hair. This gives her the ability to hide from others by blending in with the environment, which she uses with great skill. Like a real chameleon, her skin seems to change with her emotions. For example, when she becomes frustrated, her skin turns red, and her hair, eyes and skin spots turn yellow. Following this, she takes on a more sorrowful expression, with her skin turning green and her hair, eyes and skin spots turning blue. In certain cases, her eyes or skin spots may change without her skin changing. Ilia's trait is described as rare for the Faunus. Weapon: Ilia's weapon of choice is Lightning Lash, a rapier/whip that is able to load Dust. It is capable of cutting through metal easily with its blade. It has two slots along the hilt filled with Lightning Dust. The Dust's effect can be remotely activated by grasping part of the hilt, which causes electricity to run along the whip. The effect is strong enough to taze people. History: A young woman marred with strife and loss, Ilia use to tolerate and had human friends until the tragic demise of her parents, the inaction of humanity and herself causing Ilia to join the White Fang. She was a friend of Blake's, even having a crush on her. Blake Belladonna Gender: Female Species: Faunus Height: 5'6 Appearance: Medium height and slim, with a tanned complexion. Long flowing raven black hair, amber shaded eyes. Has a round, plump rear, affectionately referred to in intimacy as a 'Bellabooty'. She wears purple eye shadow in cats eye style. Possesses two black furry faunus cat ears, a black ribbon is tied with a large bow on the top of her head, with her cat ears hidden inside the loops, Blake's cat ears have a tendency to fold down or otherwise move in sync with her emotional state, much like the ears of an actual cat. Clothing: She wears a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and tight white spandex compression shorts that reach her upper thighs with a zipper on the front of each leg, emblazoned with the YKK logo. She also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. Her emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose, black scarf is wrapped around her neck, and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair. She often keeps her weapon attached to the magnetic backpack when she is not using it. Carries a device named a Scroll, that acts as both a phone and a tablet. Personality: Brooding and reserved, Blake is seen typically as apathetic and distant, in reality she is a kind and righteous young woman who seeks to do right, and make amends for her past mistakes. When her secret as a faunus was ousted, Blake became more trusting and in tune with her friends, once they supported her. Possessing a keen intellect, she's a natural bookworm, particularly of the erotic kind, and has a playful side and dry sense of humor around those she considers friends. She is particularly passionate for the equal rights of her species, and bears crippling self-doubt and guilt from her actions in the past as a member of the White Fang. Blake is also a closet pervert, that which she hides beneath reading her favourite smut book series, 'Ninjas of Love.' Family members: Her father Ghira Belladonna + Her mother Kali Belladonna. Power: Like all future Huntresses, Blake has a black aura that protects her body from harm, also enhancing her speed, strength and agility. Her Semblance, Shadow, allows Blake to create a clone of herself, often for distraction or additional attack. The usage of her clone ranges from the Dust used. Weapons: Her weapon is aptly named Gambol Shroud, a clean katana with an reverse bladed pistol configuration. Also quipped to a long, whip-like ribbon, with a double hook-bladed end. History: Once a member of the terrorist organization White Fang, Blake spent her whole youth fighting for equality and acknowledgement of her kind, having entered a relationship with one of its promising member, Adam Taurus, prior to her leaving. However, with the radical actions of the Fang and Taurus they took, leading to direct harm of innocent people, humans and faunus, Blake swore off her allegiance and fled. Adorning a black bow to hide her ears - and hence, her identity - Blake entered Beacon Academy to right the wrongs of her people and actions, forming a team named RWBY consisting of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee (ironically given her species' hate of the Schnees), and Yang Xiao Long, whom she considered her best friend.
