Blade originates from a game Honkai: Star Rail.

Blade, originally named Yinxing, is a former blacksmith from the Xianzhou Alliance exiled due to his experimentation with the immortality. Loosing his memory, true name and mind after the exile, he joined the Stellaron Hunters and devoted his life to "the Destiny's Slave" Elio. Blade considers himself Elio's weapon.

Blade is affected by Mara's desease, which makes him immortal being with self-healing abilities. However under Mara influence Blade periodically suffers from uncontrollable outbursts of emotions such as rage, bloodlust and madness. These episodes cause him to become dangerous to others. His past memories and triggers like blood and anger make Mara's influence stronger.

Knowing that he is a dangerous monster, Blade desires to die the most despite being unable to kill himself due to his self-healing nature.

Blade is obsessed with revenge against three people, whose actions led to his exile, although Blade barely remembered his past. Presumably, these people are Dan Feng (A high elder dragon, who was experimenting with immortality alongside with Blade), Jingliu (a former general of Luofu, who became a Xianzhou traitor) and Blade himself.

Blade, Sam, Kafka, Silverwolf and Elio - are members of the Stellaron Hunter Gang - notorious criminals, infamous throughout the galaxy. Elio - "the Destiny's Slave" - is a man capable of predicting all possible outcomes. Under his leadership, the Stellaron Hunters act according to certain scenarios, in order to achieve the desired future. Many consider Elio a lunatic, but his gang carry out his orders without hesitation, be it stealing, killing or blackmailing. Stellaron Hunters are collecting Stellarons for the sake of Elio's script.

Stellaron (aka "the heart of a star") is a shiny golden globe-like artifact a size of a palm, emanating destructive energy, that can bring doom upon planets.
