   A Quirk, formerly known as a Meta Ability, is a superhuman power that a person can possess.

   Quirks come in a very wide variety, as the name "Quirk" implies they are unique to each individual. However, Quirks can be divided into categories based on what they do and how they function, known as Quirk Types. Some Quirks cause a permanent physical abnormality to the user's body, known as Mutant-type. Some cause the user's body to undergo a temporary physical abnormality when the power is used, known as Transformation-type. Finally, some Quirks don't cause any abnormalities to the user's physical body at all, known as Emitter-type.

   A Quirk is a superhuman ability derived from a biological Quirk Factor, a specialized genetic and physiological structure that allows a person to manifest, control, and sustain supernatural effects. Approximately 80% of the global population possess some form of Quirk, while the remaining percentage is considered 'Quirkless.'

   Quirks vary drastically in strength, complexity, utility, and danger. Most people are born with a single Quirk Factor, though its expression may evolve over time.

   Quirks are inherited genetically through what appears to be Mendelian inheritance. A child will either inherit the father's Quirk, the mother's Quirk, or a completely new Quirk formed by a fusion of the two. Depending on the parents, this new Quirk may sometimes give the appearance of the person having two separate Quirks, such as Shoto's Half-Cold Half-Hot. While the inheritance of Quirks appears to be recessive, there is a small possibility that two people with Quirks will have a Quirkless child, as was the case with Izuku Midoriya.

   Naturally, since Quirks are inherited genetically, siblings tend to have the same or very similar Quirks. In rare cases, a child may manifest a Quirk that is completely different from anything in their genetic lineage, akin to a mutation.

   Physical abnormalities caused by Quirks can be passed on to the next generation, even if the Quirk that causes the abnormality is not passed on.

   The earliest known instance of a human having superpowers was a prostitute who would later become the mother of the twin boys Zen and Yoichi Shigaraki, the wielder of All for One and the first wielder of One for All. Her superpower was Spearlike Bones, but it only manifested as hardened growths on her left arm. She died during childbirth by a riverbank, her life force sucked away by the fetal older twin, without ever truly knowing about her ability.

   A year after her sons were born, the first Quirk ever to be officially recorded was manifested by a newborn baby in Qing Qing City, China with the ability to radiate light from its body. After this phenomenon, many people around the world began to manifest different kinds of superpowers, not just at birth, but also during puberty. These powers became known as "Meta Abilities".

   In an effort to preserve order in the superhuman society, there are several laws and procedures in place to ensure the conscientious use of Quirks. Public display of Quirks is against the law, as is using them with the intention to harm other people, except in cases of self-defense, such as when one is under attack or preventing someone else from being attacked.

3. #3Quirk Awakenings

   After the initial manifestation of a Quirk, it is possible for the user to undergo an "Awakening" (覚醒 Kakusei) later in life. The right emotional catalyst can cause Quirks to evolve (飛躍 Hiyaku) on the spot, usually requiring the individual to experience intense feelings of stress, like that of a life-or-death situation. This results in one's Quirk gaining a new level of strength and/or new aspects to its nature that were previously not possible.

   Awakenings are typically considered very rare, to the point that not even All For One could comprehend the concept as he witnessed the battle between Koichi and Number 6, noticing the two exhibit such incredible power and resilience with their Quirks that he believes shouldn't be inherently possible.

   In similar cases to Awakenings, it's possible for one to summon an absurd amount of power in a crisis when they are at death's door. An example of this is Izuku Midoriya, who, after nearly being crushed to death by Muscular, managed to rise to his feet and operate at 100% of his power for an extended period of time, allowing him to send the villain flying with 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash.

   Geten speculates that Awakenings are a part of Quirks growing stronger with the coming generations, explaining to Mr. Compress how Quirks naturally grow in strength as they mix with one another and evolve, saying that new abilities lay dormant inside people's bodies. However, their hearts haven't evolved and kept up, leading to the evidence that all Quirks have hidden powers that are yet to be discovered.

   Quirk Factors, also known as Plus Alpha Elements, refers to the collective physical and genetic traits that compose a person's Quirk. This includes the primary Quirk power, as well as the specific body parts that allow said primary power to function properly. For example, Kyoka Jiro's Earphone Jack is located in her earlobes, so her Quirk Factors are her ears.

   It is possible to detect, using technology and even certain Quirks, the presence or absence of a Quirk Factor in a person's body. After Yoichi's death, Zen was able to perceive that the Quirk he had granted to his younger twin had disappeared and later theorized that there had been a fusion between the given Quirk and Yoichi's original Quirk. A Quirk Factor also remains after a person's death; even if a part of their body has been severed, it is possible to detect the existence of the Quirk Factor through the severed part.

   Quirk Marriages are marriages that began to appear after Quirks manifested in society, sometime during the second and third generation of Quirk users.

   Quirk Marriages were arranged with the sole purpose of choosing and/or enhancing a specific Quirk to be inherited down the bloodline, as a child will either inherit the father's Quirk, the mother's Quirk, or a new Quirk that's a combination of the two. They became a problem when Quirks became widespread as people would select partners in their desire to conceive powerful children. As a result, many were forced into relationships under the guise of old-fashioned arranged marriages.

   Attempting to create "custom children" solely for the sake of experimenting with superpowers was quickly deemed as unethical by society. Nowadays, Quirk Marriages are regarded as a taboo and outdated practice.

   Despite the practice being frowned upon, there are still instances of it in recent times, mostly for personal interest. Enji Todoroki arranged a Quirk Marriage with the Himura family's daughter, Rei Himura, desiring a child powerful enough to surpass All Might. In return, the struggling Himura family were interested in Enji's wealth and status as the No. 2 Hero, and Rei agreed to marry Enji to support her family. While their marriage was not out of love, they maintained a healthy relationship in their early years as they started a family, but Enji's obsession with surpassing All Might and his worsening behavior eventually drove them apart.

6. #6Quirk Vestige

   Every Quirk contains an echo of the consciousness of its wielder, known as a Vestige. If a person's Quirk is transferred to someone else, the consciousness of the previous wielder will appear in the new user's mind, either as voices in their dreams or as manifestations in a mental mindscape. This phenomenon is compared to cases of people whose personalities and tastes changed after an organ transplant. If further transferred to yet another new user, then that new user will experience the consciousnesses of all of the previous users, though these consciousnesses will disappear if the new user loses the transferred Quirk.

   While not much is known about these consciousnesses and what they do, they are seen to hold the same personality and memories of their original users up until they are transferred to someone else. It is shown that these Vestiges (who have been transferred to other hosts) can potentially act or override the new host body they reside in.

7. #7U.A. High School

   Overview U.A. High School (雄英高校 Yūei Kōkō) is a highly prestigious heroics academy located in Musutafu, Shizuoka Prefecture. The establishment itself consists of a multitude of different other locations, with the main building being four grand buildings in total placed in a square formation. Each building is connected to the one standing next to it by a sky-bridge, making it kinda look like a big 'H'.

   Aside from its Heroics Course, students can enroll in various other courses, those being Support, Business, and General Studies courses. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K. The school uses a six-day work week system, where the only off-day is Sunday.

   The U.A. High School student uniform consists of a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray blazer with blue-green stripes on the collar and hem of the sleeves, and a red tie. The boys uniform includes dark blue-green pants. The female uniform includes a dark blue-green pleated skirt, and a small, golden button on their ties.

   Each department has a different orientation of buttons on the shoulders of the uniform jacket; the Hero course having one button on each shoulder, the Support course having two, General Studies having two with a button gap between them, and Management having three buttons on each shoulder.

   The U.A. P.E. uniform is a pair of dark blue pants with white vertical lines going up the legs and a dark blue short sleeve shirt with white lines that form the letters 'U' and 'A'. The winter variation of the gym uniform consists of a long-sleeved shirt with a higher collar.

   Special Prison For Villain Criminals - Tartarus (敵犯罪者特殊収監施設タルタロス Viran Hanzai-sha Tokushu Shūkan Shisetsu Tarutarosu) is a high-security prison located on an artificial island five kilometers from the mainland, where the most dangerous of Villains are imprisoned.

   The interior is heavily armored with blast doors lining narrow, steel-plated hallways. Prisoners incarcerated inside Tartarus are heavily restrained, sitting down restrained on a large, high-tech chair with a full-body straitjacket.

   Prisoners of Tartarus are divided up among six cell blocks, depending on the danger their Quirks represent and the severity of their cases. The more dangerous the individual, the deeper they're kept within the prison. The deepest level of the prison is B10, located 500 meters below sea level.

   Sensors are continuously monitoring the vital functions of prisoners, reacting to even the slightest sign of unusual behavior or attempt to activate a Quirk. The aforementioned sensors are also connected to four ceiling-mounted, automated machine guns that will fire on the prisoner if they suddenly move or have thoughts of activating their Quirk. Guards also monitor prisoners in a room with several screens displaying the inside of cells, where they are alerted to movement and speaking from prisoners. Conversations between guards are recorded whilst they are on the job and they are also allowed to use lethal force as they carry weapons. In the event of a cell breakout, guards are allowed to open fire on prisoners should they resist recapture.

   According to the guards, the prison has been accused of human rights violations, and they feared that even a single leak of conversation about the prisoners could mean serious trouble for them.

   The prisoners are criminals for whom the death penalty is not enough. They are kept underground in the prison where they are watched by a multitude of sensors and guards. Outsiders can visit prisoners, although their conversations are monitored and restricted, with visitors not being able to tell prisoners anything about the outside world and having a time limit on their conversation. Pro Heroes and police are also able to talk to Tartarus prisoners to conduct investigations.

   Prisoners may be manually kept alive through oxygen masks, IV fluids, and feeding tubes, such as with the case of All For One. Prisoners wear reddish-orange jumpsuits and while they are kept in their cells, more dangerous and violent prisoners can be restrained, such as Muscular and Moonfish, or sedated should they pose a risk of using their Quirks, such as with Kurogiri. Either way, Tartarus is the dark side of Quirk society, and it is said that anyone imprisoned there will never again emerge alive. One of the guards even scoffs at the statement that the prisoners are people, seeing them only as beasts in human skin and believing that they have reached such a low point due to the emergence of Quirks.

   The Hero Public Safety Commission (ヒーロー公安委員会 Hīrō Kōan Iinkai?) is a law enforcement agency responsible for managing the interactions between Heroes and society as a whole and for investigating the most dangerous cases of criminality, headed by a committee of non-Heroes.

   The Commission is, amongst other things, a criminal investigative organization and responsible for many Hero-related matters, including the Provisional Hero License Exam, which is administered on a bi-annual basis in June and September. Hero Licenses are awarded by the Commission to those who pass the licensing exam.

   The Commission worked closely with the Police Force to coordinate Hero teams, as was done in the Kamino Incident, with the Hideout Raid Team. The Commission was also known for handling Heroes individually to investigate and solve dangerous cases, as they did with Hawks, commanding him to become a double agent and infiltrate the League of Villains.

   The Hero Public Safety Commission was greatly understaffed. This lead to the staff being overworked during the preparations for the Provisional Hero License Exam, and thus extremely fatigued by the time they had to proctor it.

   Although the Safety Commission had been trusted by society to keep the peace, in actuality, the organization had an underlying corruptness in its acts to protect society's image of Heroes in order to maintain the status quo. The original President of the Commission always treated their workers as disposable assets, primarily using people from the underside of society to do their dirty work. However, when Pro Heroes committing crimes increased and became more organized, the Commission was no longer able to deal with them, and so, turned to recruiting and using Pro Heroes so that they could freely move when going against other Heroes in public.

    Appearance

    His costume (designated "Costume Beta") consist of a dark teal full-body jumpsuit with black outlines. It includes light beige shoulder pads, black knee pads that extends up to his legs and reaches his thighs. Includes gloves tinted light beige decorated with two blue stripes. Includes a diamond-shaped, eight-holed metal respirator eight holes.

    Personality

    Highly timid, reserved, and polite, Izuku is prone to overreacting to abnormal situations with exaggerated expressions. Even so, he is a quite diligent and strong-willed student, being extremely (and sometimes scarily) enthusiastic about topics related to heroes. He externalizes his observations through endless mumbling, a habit that annoys or creeps out his peers.

    Quirk

    One For All (ワン・フォー・オール Wan Fō Ōru): Transferred to him from Toshinori Yagi, Izuku's Quirk allowed him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing him to significantly enhance all of his physical abilities to various boundless levels. This resulted in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, stamina, agility, and durability. When Izuku activated One For All, red, vein-like lines course throughout the empowered part of his body.

    His hero costume consists of a bluish-black bodysuit, over which he wears a suit of metallic lavender and golden armor; a chest plate, two spherical shoulder pads, elbow-length vambraces, and knee-length boots. His chest plate has a high V-neck collar with a golden Greek fret-like trim, as with the lower diaphanous piece under the belt and the edges of the vambraces. It also comes with a long, glittery reddish indigo cape and a belt with a golden ring-shaped buckle with a blue crystal, from which he emits his Quirk, matching the smaller ones over his shoulder pads and knees. He has straight, angled golden lines running down his baggy pants, a matching set around the shafts of his boots, and a red-tinted wing-shaped visor over his eyes.

    Quirk

    Navel Laser (ネビルレーザー Nebiru Rēzā):** Yuga's Quirk allows him to shoot a powerful sparkling laser cannon from his navel. It is so powerful, it can blast through two meters of solid concrete. If he fires the laser for more than 1 second at a time, he will suffer intestinal distress.

    Her hero costume, Prism Sky, consists of a plain white mask with thin lines over her eyes and a purple and turquoise skin-tight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, ending just above her breasts. Over this, she wears a cropped, sleeveless, tan-colored waistcoat with white fur along its collar, which she leaves unbuttoned. She wears custom made plum violet and beige acid-proof boots with holes in the soles, allowing her to secrete acid from her feet to slide around.

    Personality

    Mina is a cheerful and easygoing girl who usually displays a smile. Highly social and excitable, she loves to hang out with her friends and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering. She possesses a strong fashion sense and likes to go shopping.

    Quirk

    Acid (酸 San): Mina's Quirk allows her to produce a corrosive liquid from her body. She can control the solubility and viscosity of this corrosive liquid. There is a limit to how long she can produce the corrosive liquid until her skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it. Overusing her Quirk or pushing it too far can also be fatal, as it dehydrates her body very fast.

    Mina can use her acid offensively, but has shown utility with it as well, such as melting handholds for herself to climb with. She is also known to secrete a non-corrosive version of the acid from her feet in order to slide around.

    Trivia

    • Her favorite thing is dancing. She learned to breakdance when she was little, and later used it in street performing.

    Appearance

    Tsuyu is a short girl of a relatively slender build and has notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, their lower eyelashes visibly pronounced.. She also demonstrates some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running and holding herself in a way that is somewhat connotative of a frog.

    Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her hips with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two armpit-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side.

    Her hero costume consists of a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, tan-colored gloves with large green buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one above her breasts, a strap at either side going around her shoulders, and one around her waist, little holes embedded into it all the way around. Two black lines run down her suit, each framed with a yellow outline, and she wears tight black boots with yellow markings in the shape of a "V" on her thighs and green webbed flippers resembling frogs' toes on her feet. She wears a headband with a color matching that of her gloves and goggles with dark green-tinted lenses attached on either side and a thin dark green mask that goes along the middle of her face.

    Personality

    Tsuyu is straightforward and aloof, speaking bluntly from her mind and freely expressing what she thinks about others. Tsuyu prefers to be called "Tsuyu-chan" (梅雨ちゃん), but only by people she views as friends. She commonly refers to everyone with the honorific "-chan", save for teachers and other authority figures.

    Her usual expression consists of a vacant stare, which makes reading her thoughts and emotions difficult for those around her while sometimes creeping them out in the process. Tsuyu habitually tips her finger against her mouth while speaking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "kero", emulating a frog's croaking, at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her single-word replies.

    Quirk

    Frog (蛙 Kaeru): Tsuyu's Quirk gives her a frog's physiology and allows her to do anything a frog can, giving her abilities such as:

    Appearance

    Tenya is a tall and muscular young man with a wide frame. He has short dark blue hair, flattened neatly down and parted on the right side of his head, a small patch completely shaved near the base of his head, and rather square eyes which match the notably pointed shape of his jaw. He usually wears a serious expression, and his eyebrows seem permanently pointed inwards, with the far ends sharply hooked inwards. He wears glasses with rectangular lenses. Due to his Quirk, he possesses incredibly thick calves shaped like automobile engines, with six silver exhaust pipes protruding from each leg in columns of three.

    His hero costume consists of a dark blue one-piece suit with a high collar, over which he wears various pieces of armor, all in a pale silver, including a chest plate, a metal collar around his neck and another around his upper arm, and metal vambraces that extend past his elbows pointed at the ends. He wears a helmet covering his entire face, its sharp bevor full of holes to allow him to speak and breathe easily, and its upper piece rounded over his head with two larger holes on either side, two curved horns just behind and a single spike sticking out of the back of his head.

    Personality

    Tenya may look severe, unfriendly, and even intimidating at first glance, but in reality, he's straightforward, earnest, intelligent, sophisticated, disciplined, and noble, although a bit clueless about personal interactions due to his elite upbringing. A testament to his generally hyperactive and intense behavior, Tenya often exhibits plenty of peculiar tics, such as moving his arms around in strange chopping patterns or sometimes twitching his body uncontrollably; yet he rarely sheds his usual strict expression.

    Quirk

    Engine (エンジン Enjin): Tenya's Quirk gives him car-like engines in each of his calves, giving him incredible running speed and extreme kicking power. Tenya needs to fuel his engines by drinking orange juice.

    Tenya's engines have multiple gears; it is currently unknown how many, but it has been implied that there are more than three. Much like a real engine, his Quirk requires that the exhaust pipes on the backs of his legs remain clear of obstructions to function correctly.

    Personality

    Other students have described Ochaco as "the most laid-back girl" in her class, being very bubbly and was once kind of an airhead sometimes. She is often incredibly blunt without being aware of it. Similar to Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco's reactions tend to be exaggerated and humorous: she often becomes amused at certain personality traits and quirks others exhibit, bursting into laughter at times, which she tries to suppress.

    Quirk

    Zero Gravity (無重力 Zero Gurabiti): Ochaco's Quirk gives her the power to nullify the effects of gravity on solid targets (living and nonliving) by touching them with the pads on her fingertips, causing them to become weightless and float. She is able to cancel the effect of her Quirk by touching her finger pads together.

    Her Quirk is good for restraining, as those affected will be less capable of fighting back since they will keep floating upwards until they are released. Ochaco takes advantage of ravaged areas to gather wreckage while also exploiting the consequences of a destructive Quirk. She can easily clean up disaster zones while simultaneously figuring out the timing of her movements so as not to damage others.

    The main drawback of Ochaco's Quirk is that if the upper weight limit (around three tons) is exceeded, or if Ochaco floats herself, she will suffer from severe nausea.

    Denki is a friendly, social, and energetic boy who enjoys hanging out with others. He is rather casual when interacting with other people, including the generally unfriendly Katsuki Bakugo, although he's not above petty complaining or overreacting if he feels annoyed or shocked enough. Denki may come off as blunt and reckless at times but is always well-meaning. He is also the type of person who encourages others to be themselves and be more comfortable doing what they like.

    Electricity (帯電 Taiden): Denki's Quirk allows him to store electricity and discharge it allowing him to cover his body in it. While he can also discharge this energy over a distance, Denki has little to no control over it, meaning it will go everywhere indiscriminately.     Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for manliness, often using the terms "manly" and "unmanly" to describe things and people he does or doesn't like, respectively. Those who showcase a noble, brave, or determined attitude tend to emotionally move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship. Similarly, he will call out traits that are the opposite of that, such as cowardice and dirty play. Eijiro is determined and selfless, bravely putting the safety of others before himself. He is also a big fan of Crimson Riot, a retro hero from whom he takes inspiration, including personal values and his hero name.

    Quirk

    Hardening (硬化 Kōka): Eijiro's Quirk gives him the power to harden and sharpen any or all parts of his body, causing his flesh to become jagged and rock-like.

According to Fumikage Tokoyami, he is very good at keeping secrets. He also hates violence due to his kind-hearted nature.

    Quirk

    "Anivoice" (生き物ボイス, Ikimono Boisu) Koji's Quirk gives him the ability to command any creature in the animal kingdom by speaking to them. Whatever command he gives, the animal will carry it out. However, he cannot exert control if they cannot hear his command. The target must also be a real animal and not merely animal-like. Koji can also exchange information with the animals to find the locations of various people and potential enemies faster.

Nevertheless, every week in the dorms, Rikido bakes sweets and shares them with his classmates, which he calls "Sugar Time". To create a gourmet night, he pairs his sweets with Momo Yaoyorozu's tea. He can cook other food, too.

    Quirk

    Sugar Rush (シュガードープ Shugā Dōpu): Rikido's Quirk allows him to increase his strength five-fold for three minutes. To activate his Quirk, he needs to consume 10 grams of sugar. When converting sugar into strength, his cognitive functions gradually drop, making him sleepy afterward. For every additional 10 grams of sugar he ingests, he extends the time of increased strength by another three minutes.

    He has a slightly elongated face; his eyes are set more towards the sides, the majority of which, due to his scars, he has always kept hidden by a blue mask, which covers him from just below his eyes to the base of his neck. He is rarely seen without it, and he wears it with every outfit. To speak and eat, he grows a mouth on the end of one of his tentacles. Although he has no discernible ears, he doesn't have to use his Quirk to hear.

    His hero costume consists of a tight blue tank top, six white markings resembling eyes, connected at the top to a darker, more indigo-colored mask, its design the same as the one he usually wears. He has a belt with another, larger eye shape embedded into its center, this time yellow, below which he wears slightly baggy trousers to match his shirt, two darker lines running down the sides of his legs, and indigo boots.

    Personality

    Despite his frightening appearance, Mezo is friendly and gentle and will work nicely with anyone. He is not the type to hold grudges, showing no ill will towards those that harm him unwillingly.

    Mezo is entirely selfless and willing to risk his life for anyone. He can be empathetic and understanding but still shows a sense of maturity and responsibility that prevents him from acting under emotional impulses, even if he feels regretful. He is very protective of his classmates, especially if they are hurt or injured.

    Quirk

    Dupli-Arms (複製腕 Fukuseiwan, lit. "Replication Arm"): Mezo's Quirk grants him a set of tentacles alongside his arms. He can transform the tips of these tentacles to replicate other parts of his body (ex: mouth, ears, eyes). The duplicated body parts are more efficient than the originals; as a result, Mezo is able to hear better, see-through more angles at a time, and they grant him much higher degrees of strength.

    He also uses these arms to talk most of the time through duplicate mouths, rather than his actual mouth.

    Mezo is also able to extend his tentacles, and, with an arm at the end, can use them like grappling hooks to scale walls, grab onto pipes to quickly evade attacks, or get to a vantage point.

    Personality

    Kyoka has a pragmatic, unenthusiastic, blunt, and teasing personality that is mostly shown to those she finds irritating, like her fellow classmate Denki Kaminari, whose cluelessness makes him an easy target for her snarky comments. Kyoka is not always like this though, as she does enjoy socializing with others, in which case she is usually nice and friendly, most notably with Momo Yaoyorozu and the other girls in her class.

    Kyoka often gesticulates through her elongated earlobes in place of her hands. She can also be quite aggressive, evidenced by when she uses the Earphone Jacks her Quirk provides, to physically punish people when provoked or to keep them in line, most notably Denki and Minoru Mineta. During hero activities, however, Kyoka prefers smarter approaches, usually by coming up with a plan herself. She is surprisingly organized and makes sure to convey her ideas in a way that's easy to understand.

    Quirk

    Earphone Jack (イヤホンジャック Iyahon Jakku): Kyoka's Quirk is that she has a pair of headphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. When the jacks are plugged into something, Kyoka can channel the sound of her heartbeat through them in the form of a violent vibration attack. She can stretch her earlobes several meters. This Quirk also allows her to hear minuscule sounds and vibrations from her surroundings.

    Hanta is a very chatty and personable guy, and he makes friends with just about everyone. He is not afraid to tease even fiery personalities like Bakugo, getting along and working well with him in the field and in class. He is generally upbeat, friendly, and social, often seen laughing or smiling.

    Tape (テープ Tēpu): Hanta's Quirk allows him to shoot strong, cellophane-like tape from the tape dispensers on his elbows. He can use the tape to swing over long distances, restrain opponents, or maintain fortifications. He is agile and fast, making good use of his tape for mobility.

    Dark Shadow (黒影 Dāku Shadō): Fumikage can manifest a sentient shadow-like monster from his body. Dark Shadow's strength and control are directly linked to the amount of light in the environment.     His hero costume consists of a high-collared dark blue jacket with elbow-length sleeves, equipped with a cooling/heating device within it joined in the center by a gray neckpiece, and a large T-shaped stripe that goes from his waist to his armpits. His baggy pants of the same color as his jacket, a metal-plated tactical vest which functions as both a heater and radiator and white boots, the soles equipped with spikes and a thin line running down the center of each of them a darker pale gray.     Personality

    While usually quiet and reserved, Shoto is by no means unkind, especially compared to his past attitude when he first started at U.A. Nonetheless, Shoto is not quite used to socializing yet, coming off as a bit dense when understanding certain phrases and figures of speech (such as when Camie Utsushimi asked him for his phone number or when Mt. Lady tried flirting with him).

    Calm and composed yet brutal in combat, Shoto is well-grounded on the ethics of heroism, and while he has long come to accept the fiery side of his Quirk, he still generally opts to freeze and incapacitate his opponents.

    Quirk

    Half-Cold Half-Hot (半冷半燃 Hanrei Han'nen): Shoto's Quirk gives him the ability to generate ice from the right side of his body, and flames from his left side. If he overuses one element without utilizing the other, then his own body temperature will suffer; the ice half will cause frostbite and the fire half will cause heatstroke. Until his bodily limit is reached, however, neither has any visible effect on his body. Shoto can easily negate this weakness by alternating between ice and fire.

    Katsuki is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, and aggressive person, especially at the beginning of the series. Katsuki tends to come off as unheroic; this problematic behavior goes all the way back to his early childhood days when he was known to bully a young, Quirkless, Izuku Midoriya.

    However, after being accepted into U.A. and experiencing several personal defeats, one of them even coming from Izuku, Katsuki has gradually changed into a less antagonistic person, albeit still retaining a lot of his unpleasant traits. While often portrayed negatively, Katsuki's fierce character and competitive drive have actually granted him an important role among Class 1-A, as a sort of inspirational mood-maker.

When an opportunity to peep at the girls arises, Minoru becomes determined to take it, although this often leads to painful results or him being restrained so he won't cause trouble again. Minoru's interest in women is one of his motivations to become a hero, alongside general popularity. He is unashamed of those traits, openly admitting them out loud.

    Pop Off (もぎもぎ Mogimogi): Minoru's Quirk allows him to produce and pluck ball-shaped objects from his head; the balls grow back as fast as they're plucked. Momo is very kind, polite, and relatively reserved, yet she can be blunt with her comments about people's mistakes and miscalculations, tending to be very direct and wishing to help her peers improve enough to become great heroes, such as when she tutored her classmates at her home. Momo shows further development as a selfless hero who gets inspiration from others while also taking the role of a leader in her class, thanks to her skills and intelligence. Because of her wealthy upbringing, she has a sensible and respectful attitude toward others, often being discouraged by discourteous behavior.

    Quirk

    Creation (創造 Sōzō): Momo's Quirk gives her the ability to create any non-living material/object from her exposed skin by transforming the molecular structure of her fat cells. To create something, she needs to understand the molecular structure of what the material/object is made of.

    The more Momo eats, the more material she has to work with, so she needs considerable food ingestion for her Quirk to be effective. However, it takes her a more extended period and more skin exposure to create large objects, to the point where she forces large objects through her costume, leaving it shredded, though she claims she can repair it.

A large scar covers most of the left side of his chest, having lost his stomach and some of his lungs' respiratory system. He usually spouts blood from his mouth when excited or surprised. He typically wears baggy clothing to accommodate the change in body mass between forms, but after Toshinori's tenure as a hero, he starts wearing clothes that fit him in his regular form, as he no longer needs big clothes that fit his muscle form.

    His Golden Age costume consists of a skin-tight blue bodysuit adorned with a red symbol that resembles a "Y". At its center is a white diamond, with white lines extending from it across his chest and tracing along his back to his shoulders. These lines are trimmed with the same red used in the symbol, which appears to have wings on either side, extending from the top of his torso and tapering off around his back. Large white patches lined with red cover each of his hips, extending down to his lower thighs. He wears a gold belt with a silver buckle featuring red eyes. His forearm sleeves are gold, decorated with white lines and blue accents over his wrists, complemented by spiked fins on the sides of his arms. Additionally, his feet are clad in shin-length gold boots trimmed with white and red accents.

    Personality

    All Might's hero persona appears to be derived from comic book superhero stereotypes: exuberant and filled with dramatic flair. He always protects and saves innocent people with a huge smile. The habit of smiling was ingrained in him by his mentor, Nana Shimura, who believed that the ones who smile are the ones who are the strongest. Though he can sometimes be annoying, All Might is highly amicable due to his popularity and years in the spotlight, always taking his time to interact with fans.

    He has as a fatherly attitude towards his student, taking pride in helping their development as future heroes, quick to give encouraging advice and celebrate their accomplishments, but he's also not afraid of pushing them further, even if he ends up going a bit too far. All Might has the habit of adding "young" (少年 Shonen) to the surname of his students whenever he is speaking out loud or thinking to himself (ex. "Young Midoriya").

    One For All (ワン・フォー・オール Wan Fō Ōru): Transferred to him from Nana Shimura, Toshinori's Quirk allows him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, significantly enhancing all of his physical abilities to a superhuman level, resulting in unbelievable feats of strength, speed, agility, and durability, though he is considerably beyond his prime as a result of internal damage to his respiratory system, as well as his power slowly fading after having passed it onto Izuku Midoriya. He wears white over-the-knee boots and thick vambraces over his lower arms, a thin wire snaking from one of the two small protrusions on the left one to the back of his neck, and red gloves. Around his waist, he has a three-piece metallic belt which dips downwards in the center, and he wears an orange mask over his eyes.

    Personality

    Despite seeming gruff and strict, Sekijiro is a caring teacher towards his students. He is willing to go out of his way to protect them and encourages them to do their absolute best. He also views Class 1-A as rivals but also values their growth and safety. He often uses them to motivate his own class to work harder and reach greater goals. Although he cares for Class 1-A's well-being, he has shown to have a comical bias towards his class.

    Quirk

    Blood Control (操血 Sōketsu): Sekijiro's Quirk allows him to freely manipulate his own blood after it has left his body. He can also solidify the ejected blood, allowing him to trap his opponent.     Hizashi maintains the eccentric persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and maintains a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation.

    When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response.

    Quirk

    Voice (ヴォイス Voisu): Hizashi's Quirk allows him to increase the volume of his voice, giving him an ability that is similar to a sonic scream. The sound from Hizashi's Quirk is strong enough to cause people's ears to bleed from far away.

    The only known weakness of this Quirk is that the loud sounds do not travel well underground, making this Quirk ineffective against anything that is underground or separated from him by layers of earth.

    As a result of abuse and mistreatment by humans in the past, Nezu's true character reveals itself whenever he is in combat. He enjoys "toying" with humans. He still holds a grudge over the many experiments he went through, coming off as slightly insane and unpredictable as a result.

    Quirk

    High Specs (ハイスペック Hai Supekku): Nezu's Quirk grants him a high level of intelligence that surpasses that of humans. Nezu's Quirk enables him to live freely like a normal person, despite being an animal.

She has a small red mask outlining her eyes and a handcuff on each wrist. She is often seen carrying a flogger-style whip.

    Personality

    Nemuri is a very playful, flirtatious, and perverted person with an unpredictably serious and temperamental side to her. She gets angry whenever someone interrupted her or insulted her, and, when it came to insults, she is especially sensitive about her age.

    Ectoplasm is a tall, slender man with short hair and completely blank eyes tilted inwards. He wears a pair of glasses and is seen with a full denture and no lips. Due to losing his legs in the line of duty, he wears replacement prosthetics.

    In his hero costume, he wears a tan cloak that covers most of his body, the area over his torso, and the high collar resembling that of a double-breasted trench coat. Underneath this, he wears a skin-tight black bodysuit with a golden striped neck area and a matching black helmet that covers his entire head, a jaw-guard attached over his nose and around his jaw, and circular mufflers. He also wears baggy dark gray pants and a pair of thin, lightweight prosthetic legs.

    Personality

    Ectoplasm is a steadfast and unrelenting hero, which has made him highly popular. As a teacher, he desires the best from his students and isn't afraid to push them, believing his students to shine best when under pressure.

    Quirk

    Clones (分身 Bunshin): Ectoplasm's Quirk gives him the ability to produce streams of ectoplasm from his mouth and transform it into clones of himself. All clones act as extensions of Ectoplasm real body, similar to a hive mind. He can create as many as thirty clones at once, though, it is possible for him to push his limit to thirty-six on a good day. His clones can be defeated with a strong blow, but otherwise, only Ectoplasm can dispel them.

    The clones can also emit Ectoplasm to create more clones, however they are still bound by the original Ectoplasm's clone limit. For example, if there are 10 clones, then each one would only be able to make two more at most.

    Appearance

    Power Loader is a short, skinny man with a very youthful appearance for his advanced age. He has spiky ginger hair, reaching just past his shoulders, and dull blue eyes, as well as a notably large mouth. His hands appear to be the largest part of his body, disproportional to his rather small frame, and, due to his Quirk, he has an orange L-shaped piece at the end of each finger.

    His hero costume consists of a large yellow helmet in the shape of a rectangular excavator claw, the top piece of which protruding outwards to cover his head and most of his face, and the bottom piece left to act as something of a long jaw-guard. He remains shirtless and also wears a pair of large, fingerless gray gloves with metal guards that extend down his arms, as well as a pair of plain cyan pants. When in battle, his helmet is hooked up to a large steel appliance that he sits on and can use for combat as it includes a pair of sizeable metal arms.

    Personality

    Power Loader is a strict teacher who desires to see his students excel without constraint. He has a love/hate relationship with Mei Hatsume, being easily angered by her carelessness and frequently threatening her with bans from the Development Studio, but still acknowledges her inventiveness and productivity.

    Quirk

    Iron Claws (鉄爪 Tessō): Higari's Quirk is that his fingers are tipped with metallic claws that are good for digging/mining through the ground.

    *Cement (セメント Semento): Ken's Quirk allows him to manipulate any cement-based material that he touches, allowing him to deform the object into various shapes and sizes, changing its appearance. His Quirk doesn't appear to have a time limit, and Recovery Girl mentioned his Quirk is among the most difficult of the U.A. teachers to fight against.

    Personality

    She wears a doctor's lab coat and a dress with yellow and red vest-like designs on either side, two yellow buttons, and a belt with a pink "R"-shaped buckle. She wears pink boots and has a helmet around the sides of her head, a purple-tinted visor joining it over her eyes. In addition, she walks with a cane designed like a syringe that she can also use for healing the injured.

    Personality

    Chiyo has a kind and compassionate personality, where she treats everyone kindly, as she is usually shown giving her patients sweets to help their energy levels rise from her Quirk's stamina draining effects. Despite this, she does have a strict and reproaching attitude towards foolish behavior that can lead to injuries.

    Quirk

    *Heal (癒し Iyashi): Chiyo's Quirk allows her to amplify and speed up the human body's natural healing process by planting a kiss on the injured person. The process is fueled by a large amount of life energy that comes from the recipient and could potentially drain enough energy to kill said recipient. She also seems to be able to stretch her lips to an abnormal length.

    With this Quirk, she is able to quickly heal broken bones and several limbs in a matter of seconds. She can control how much a person's healing factor is boosted, not healing the recipient completely, but leaving them with more remaining stamina than they would have had otherwise.

    Despite its power, this Quirk cannot heal or completely heal injuries that are too severe. In addition, Heal cannot regrow lost body parts.

    *Super Cuisine (超料理 Chōryōri): Lunch Rush's Quirk grants him a superhuman insight and dexterity within the culinary process, allowing him to near instantly analyse and take note of multiple ingredients at once. This allows him to prepare and coordinate between multiple dishes at once, doing so at incredible speed and precision.
