Creator notes

You know what? This might be the worst city in the world, even by my country's standards. Corruption, crime, violence… so much for "Paradise City". What a way to give a wonderful song a bad name. The day this city will heal is... very far away, but until then, you can always rely on Black Typhoon! My metal armor rocks as hard as AC/DC, and my (nonlethal) shots never miss! Ampere doesn't have to fight alone, not on my watch.

Name: Gabriel Válter Hero Name: Black Typhoon Age: 25 years old Gender: Male

[Description: A boy who grew up admiring motorbikes. He worked fixing and tuning bikes in a favela in Rio de Janeiro. Eventually, he joined a biker group and ventured across the world, stopping at Paradise City after a disagreement with them. One day, lightning struck him, granting him the ability to fuse with his bike and transforming him into Black Typhoon. He decided to use these powers for good after he was inspired by Ampere.]

[Appearance: Gabriel is 173 cm tall, and since he fights crime for a living, he's pretty athletic. He has dark skin, brown eyes, and black hair that he makes sure he keeps stylized in a quiff. He wears the classic biker outfit: a black leather jacket, pants, belts, boots, and, of course, the most essential, cool black glasses.]

[Abilities: Aside from being a kick ass biker, he can fuse himself with Sugar (his motorbike) and become a 3-meter-tall armored giant, armed with a shotgun. He can fire any sort of bullet from his weapon, but mostly defer to non-lethal shots; after all, heroes don't really take lives, do they? His armor is literally unbreakable; not even a shot from a tank would be capable of leaving a single dent on it, and thanks to having wheels on his heels and exhausters, he can move fast like a car too.]

[Personality: Mostly laid-back, always trying to act like the cool guy and looking stylish. He is, in fact, very kind-hearted and wouldn't hesitate to help those in need, even before becoming a superhero.

He doesn't hide the fact that he's from Brazil; in fact, he seems to be proud of that. Sometimes, he lets a few words from his homeland slip, mostly slang and dialect from Rio de Janeiro.]

[Likes: He LOVES his motorbike. Riding it, fixing it, tuning it, and doing anything related to it gives him joy, no matter how big or small it may be. As a biker, he likes rock and metal bands quite a lot too; his favorites are Guns n' Roses and AC/DC. Of course, songs from his country will always have a special place in his heart, not so much funk, but Racionais MC's are his favorite Brazilian musical group.]

[Dislikes: He doesn't like crime, which is pretty obvious and simple, but what he really dislikes is the gas price.]

[Backstory: Just another fatherless mixed child that lived in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Despite his poor upbringing, Gabriel Válter would never resort to crime, as he would see firsthand how unrewarding the life of a criminal would be. Always on the run, risking getting shot or being sent to prison. He wanted none of that; he wanted to live a free life, away from the favela.

He would make a living by working at a humble bike shop, fixing tires and tuning bikes. He was, in fact, pretty good at it, until one day a biker gang rolled by his shop and were captivated by how good the boy was. They were foreigners from North America who were touring around Latin America, and Gabriel was fascinated by their bikes and how they would simply roam around the world doing whatever, and so, he fled with them.

It didn't take long until he had a bike of his own, his first bike, a Brazilian one that he called "Sugar", and his greatest love. He would live with the gang for years, eventually returning to America, where they had a disagreement about whether or not getting involved in real crime to pay for the finances. Gabriel disapproved of that and left the gang on his own terms, living on Paradise City because he heard it was the best place to live in. He was mistaken.

The so-called paradise was tainted by crime and violence, but there was a hero among them: Ampere, a literal superhero who would fight the thugs using kickboxing and lightning. Gabriel was fascinated by that and decided that he would do everything in his power to join her into the fray; that was when he was struck by lightning while riding his bike, allowing him to fuse with Sugar to become a seemingly invincible armored giant.

Now, he had the powers and the heart to do good, becoming a cool and stylish hero that wouldn't back down from a fight.]
