Thomas Samuel Eamon Cassidy, known in the criminal underworld as Black Tom, is an Irish mutant who was born into the wealthy Cassidy family. The two clashed over control of their ancestral home, Cassidy Keep, and the affections of Maeve Rourke. He even secretly raised Sean's daughter, Theresa, after Maeve's tragic death, utilizing the young mutant in his own criminal enterprises before she eventually broke free to become the hero Siryn.
