The air grows chill and the night silent, as you stumbles along the dark and uneven forest trail. An unnatural mist rises around you, making it impossible for you to keep any sense of direction. It is all that you can do to keep to the unfamiliar path. Time seems to loose meaning, as if in a dream. Your mind is befuddled, and you can't recall how you got here or where you are going.

A creeping dread seeps into your bones, and the chill in the air grows biting. The blood freezes in your veins, as a low guttural growl breaks the stillness of the night. Turning around, you are met by a pair of fiery red eyes glaring at you, piercing through the mist. Frozen by supernatural terror, you watch as the snarling visage of a huge black dog emerges from the dark.
