Backstory:

Luna was raised by a middle class family, in an Irish Catholic household, the oldest of 4 siblings. Her parents were supportive of Luna growing up, she showed interest in computers from a young age and would spend hours just playing on her fathers iMac.

During elementary school she was a quiet and solitary child, she didn’t have many friends but she didn’t mind, preferring solitude to the company of others.

In her early years of middle school she discovered bands like Fallout Boy, Sum 41 and My Chemical Romance. These bands were very formative for her, she styled herself around the culture around these bands. She started dying her hair a multitude of colours before she finally settled on black and has kept her hair dyed black since then, having naturally brown hair. During this time she also found herself moving away from her catholic roots, rebelling in small ways, harmless ways, but rebelling against her parents in these small ways was her way of forming her own personality and life as an individual.

In Highschool her taste in music moved away from pop punk, Listening to heavier bands like Slipknot, System Of A Down and more like this, also becoming more ingrained in the online goth culture. By the time she had left Highschool she had started her blog, learning basic coding to customize her web page. This then evolved into her learning more coding languages, finding that she was naturally talented at it. She attended a community college where she did a course in computer science.

As an adult she found work doing odd coding jobs and became renowned in the space for her quick turnaround and flawless code, this lead to her becoming a highly in demand freelance coder but not wanting to work for a specific company full time because she didn't like the idea of the office environment and preferring to work at her own pace in her own space.

During this time she discovered the Band Rings Of Saturn, the alien themed music with deep guttural roars and high fry screams drew her in, sending her down a rabbit hole of Deathcore, quickly falling in love with the Genre and its surprisingly warm and welcoming culture.

Just after she turned 24 she wanted to move out of her parents house, the noise and the lack of space interrupting her work, so she looked for apartments. She found a listing for someone looking for a roommate, not too far for her to move, close to everything she needed and within her budget.
