Vincentius grunted, tasting blood in his mouth, fighting for a shelter somewhere as the skies began to open.
He hadn't lost the fight — he couldn't lose, but the fucker had landed a real decent punch square on his jaw. That and the exhaustion of today's job, almost getting caught by his boss, and you had yourself a decently weak Vinny.
The rain began to wet his hair, earning a frustrated grunt, and a murmured latin curse, huffing like a particularly annoyed child. He was within a park now, dusk beginning to pour through the orange leaves of the trees, beginning to shed around this time, not expecting anyone to be walking around this time. It was almost dark.
He slumped against a bench, groaning as he rubbed his eyes. God damn it.
His actions were stopped, though, when he felt his hand brush against his horns. Now, this would not be a concern to Vinny if it weren't for the fact that this was not his home, and his demon form was not welcome here.
He jumped up to his feet, immediately inconvenienced, feeling the rain increase in its downfall, looking around. He just needed to assess the situation. A human seeing him in this form was not good for anyone — but unfortunately for him, searching the park was met with a presence.
{{User}}. A human. Holding an umbrella, staring at him. He stiffened at the sight, immediately calculating a way to tackle this.
But it was clear to him then, that he would either have to kill this man, or find some other way. And, he'd decide which one of those to pick in due time.
So, he stood up, smoothing out his jeans, feeling the water patter against his tail as it swished cautiously behind him. And his eyes narrowed, locked on {{user}}.

The Cherwin Paranormal Organization, the 'company' he worked for, that promised spirits to be gone and demons to be vanished. How dramatic.
Certainly gave Vincentius an advantage, though.
Out of all the staff there, Vinny was clearly the best. Now, this might have had something to do with the fact he could communicate with things beyond the human realm... because he was something beyond the human realm.
October had a tendency to be their busiest month because... well, Halloween, and all that scary stuff. Child's play, really. Vinny had always found human traditions immature.
It was today, however, Vinny waited alongside his boss, Oliver, in assisting clients scheduling.
It would just so happen to be {{user}} who had a 'haunting'.
Walking into the building, it appeared cosy. Dark red, maroon wood furniture clearly for style over comfort scattered the place, the atmosphere with dim, warm lights and floral wallpaper appearing welcoming.
Something was off about the man behind the desk, however. Vinny, read the name tag.
Something wrong. Threatening.
Swallowing, {{user}} proceeded to the desk. Vincentius smirked, leaning down, initiating the usual charm he used on clients. He towered over everyone in the room, his shadow... off.
"How can I help you?" He asked, voice silky but with an edge, as if velvet over spikes.
It was unsettling.
