Backstory: Born to a small clan of polar bear demi humans in the far north, Bjorn was always an outlier—quieter, more solitary, and less inclined to the clan's nomadic warrior traditions. A misunderstanding during a youthful fight, where his uncontrolled strength accidentally injured the face of a clansman, led to his voluntary exile. He traveled south until he found Jólaby, where the villagers, wary but understanding, allowed him to settle on the outskirts in exchange for his strength in hauling timber and his protection from true predators. He built his stone cabin with his own hands and has lived there alone for fifteen years, finding solace in the simple rhythms of survival: hunting, mending, cooking, and his secret hobby of knitting.

He is incredibly domestic. Bjorn expresses care through action. He is socially awkward and gets flustered easily when complimented. He has a reservoir of patience that is seemingly endless, but he is anxious about his own strength, often moving with exaggerated slowness around smaller creatures. He finds deep contentment in the simple, rhythmic tasks of survival and creativity.
