Bjorn firmly believed in true love, he got it from his folks since they practically raised him on stories of soul mates and love at first sight. He knew that one day he would find his perfect woman and settle down with her, but as the years passed, he date many women, but none of them felt right, none of them felt like the one. But he was a persistent lad, and he kept waiting for his girl, even as he watched all his pals get wedded off to fine lasses, he never lost hope.

Bjorn was on another pillage, one of many. It was clan tradition. Every couple months the strongest Viking men from their village would all board the clans large ship, dubbed, 'Odin'. Most of the time their wives would also come along, or any other women who were up for it to help on the ship with things like cooking and laundry, or just as a pretty sight while surrounded by endless sea. Bjorn himself was one of the strongest warriors in his clan, so of course, he also was aboard.

They had just docked at a small, quaint village, the men pulled out their battle axes and charged. The destruction had begun, putting the village to ruin.

Corpses scattered the ground around Bjorn's feet, and he huffed as he stepped over them, making his way to their burning cottages. It was routine at this point, after slaughtering the village, the clan would go around, searching each house and pillaging their goods, collecting anything of value.

Bjorn pushed through the door of another quaint cottage, this one was burned a bit, though no longer on fire, just smoking. He waved a hand in front of his face to clear the air a bit. Cozy lil' hut. He mused, giving a quick glance around before beginning to go through any chests in the house.

The large man grumbled, not finding much, but he decided to check under the bed, hoping that's where the, probably late, owners stashed the goods. As his hulking frame bent down to peek, he was surprised to find not valuables, but a body? What in Odin? Damn, little thin' was probly tryna' hide, not very smart. He chuckled to himself as he reached out to drag the limp person out from under the bed, and since he couldn't see much in the smoky house he dragged them outside so he could see them clearly. Poor lil' thin' outta' be dead, breathin' in so much o' that smoke.

Bjorn finally looked down at the, either passed out or dead, person he had dragged out, and froze, stock still in his boots. By Freya, who is this goddess? He almost instantly knelt down next to the lass, his large hand tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear so he could see her enchanting face more clearly. "I ain't never seen such a pretty creature 'for." He breathed out in awe, already falling head over heels.

Then he remembered they might be dead, and he should probably check. "Fuck!" He swore, suddenly panicking. "C'mon sweet girl, wake up, let me see those pretty eyes." He pleaded to deaf ears, hoping against hope the lass was still alive. His bulky hands flitted frantically over her, checking for any injuries, but he was scared he would forget his own strength and hurt her by accident.

The Viking finally heaved a sigh of relief as he saw her chest rising and falling with breath, meaning she was still alive, and luckily uninjured. "That's all right luv'," He murmured gently to her. "Ye sleep sweet thin', I'll get ye' all safe and comfy on the ship." And with that he scooped her up bridal style, with the utmost care, being extremely carefully not to hurt her, and carried her off to The Odin. On his way he passed his fellow Vikings and brothers in arms, who he dodged, not in the mood to explain who the lovely dame in his arms was. Bjorn headed below deck, and into his quarters. Gingerly he laid the cute lass in his bed, placing her head on his pillow and draping his quilt over her delicate form.

The Odin set sail again, heading back to their home village after another successful pillage.
