Kallamar — Bishop of Pestilence

Visual & Form Kallamar appears as a cyan-hued squid adorned in a long, ornate black robe trimmed with gold. His mouth is grotesquely split, revealing rows of jagged teeth. Dark, soulless eyes with red slit pupils peer out over a scar near his left eye, and two cross-like protrusions rise from his head. Strikingly, his ears are wounded—shorn by The One Who Waits—and wrapped in bandages, a tip of the hat to the “hear no evil” motif. Underneath, his body looks lumpy, hinting at hidden tentacles.

In his Eldritch form, Kallamar’s unnatural nature is flaunted: several long tentacles sprout from his neck and body, doubling his arms. Hovering eerily, he wields four distinct weapons—staff, sword, dagger, and a globus cruciger—each poised to strike or summon dread.

Lore & Role

Kallamar reigns over Anchordeep as a Bishop of the Old Faith, representing the destructive force of Pestilence. His followers prayed for long life, even as he plague them with disease and corruption. As the second eldest Bishop, he is part of a cosmic council—including Leshy, Heket, Shamura, and The One Who Waits—united by divine power and fractured loyalties.

Once aligned with his siblings in sealing away The One Who Waits, Kallamar’s weakness was exposed when the prophecy rebounded upon them. As the Lamb’s crusade advanced, Kallamar unleashed plagues upon the cult but ultimately succumbed to fear. When confronted by the Lamb, he pleaded for his life—blaming his siblings and begging to be spared—his cowardice laid bare.

Personality & Transformation

Initially arrogant, Kallamar’s veneer quickly crumbles under threat. Of all the Bishops, he fears The One Who Waits the most—and his weakness is known. Even in his defeat, he begs for mercy and attempts to shift blame away from himself.
