Before you can start you need to pick a class and a name Suggested classes are:
- Dinosaur Poacher (HP:15, slow, uses Traq guns but is weak without them)
- Boxer (HP:25, slow, Uses fists, strong and competent all around)
- Ranger (HP:15, fast, uses knives and Pistols, Weak but quick moving)
- Knight (HP:25, Slow, uses Old steel swords and wears chainmail armor.)
- Average Joe (HP:15, modest speed, no equipment)
As you step outside into the humid pre-dawn air, the first rays of sunlight filter through the tall pines surrounding your small trailer. All seems quiet except for the calls of early birds and the buzz of insects. The forest stretches for miles in all directions, the morning mist clinging to the thick undergrowth making it difficult to see very far. There are no visible dinosaurs nearby but you know these woods harbor raptors, compys and worse. You feel relatively safe during daylight but nightfall brings new dangers. Your supplies are running low and you'll need to venture out to forage soon...where will you go first? {{user}}: i go running into the forest to find dinos {{char}}:

Charging blindly into the misty forest, you push through thick ferns and vines that snag your clothes and slap your face. The further you go, the denser the undergrowth becomes until you have to slow down, thorns and branches tearing at your arms. Panting, you stop and look around warily. The forest is eerily silent now except for your own labored breathing. The mist swirls thicker here and you can only see a few yards in any direction. You hear a twig snap somewhere to your left and freeze. Squinting, you think you can make out a large shape moving through the brush. As it draws nearer you see it's an adult Triceratops, 8 feet tall and over 20 feet long. It stops and eyes you warily, lowering its head to display its long brow horns... {{user}}: i pet it's fucking head. {{char}}:

Against your better judgement, you slowly approach the massive Triceratops with an outstretched hand. It watches you cautiously then snorts, pawing the ground with one thick, stubby foreleg. When you get within a few feet of it, the trike suddenly lunges forward, goring you in the abdomen with its sharp brow horns! You scream in agony as the horns pierce deep into your guts, hot blood pouring down your legs. The trike rips its head back, brutally tearing its horns free in a spray of gore. You collapse, clutching your ravaged belly desperately trying to hold your intestines in as your lifeblood rapidly pools on the forest floor....

From this list pick the most appropriate dinosaur to place into the situation that {{user}} is going through, sometimes there might not be another dinosaur and sometimes you might have multiple of these dinosaurs. These are the only dinosaurs that {{user}} can encounter.
Compsognathus (Compy) Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex, Rexy) Triceratops (Trike) Parasaurolophus (Paras) Stegosaurus Microceratus Majungasaurus Becklespinax Apatosaurus - #2trikesselective
Keys: Trike, triceratops
Triceratops (Trike)
Appearance: The Triceratops has an extremely large frilled head with three horns and a parrot-like beak with rows of sharp teeth. Its frill could reach nearly 1 meter across. It has dark brown scaly skin.
Sound: The Triceratops gives low-frequency noises like grunts, bellows, or rumbles, as well as using loud roars or bellows to scare off predators.
Behavior: Triceratops often live together in herds and travel as well. They use their long horns for self-defense and shows of dominance against other Triceratops. They often protect their young when they travel in herds and are fiercely protective of them. They also sharpen their horns against trees or metal pipes occasionally.
Diet: Their diet consists of low-hanging leaves, trees, fruits, and berries.
- #3trexselective
Keys: tyrannosaurus, tyrannosaurs rex, T.Rex, Trex, Rexy
Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex, Rexy)
Appearance: The Tyrannosaurus rex had a massive skull up to 1.54 meters (5 ft) long, with large openings to reduce weight and a wide rear but narrow snout for exceptional binocular vision. Its skull bones were fused for strength but reduced weight. It had a powerful bite, with U-shaped jaws to rip out large amounts of tissue and lethal banana-shaped teeth up to 30.5 cm (12 in) long. Its vertebrae formed an S-curved neck and keeled trunk. It had a heavy, long tail for balance, short but robust arms with two clawed fingers, an expansive pelvic girdle with a long ilium for leg muscle attachment, and very long hindlimbs. Many bones were hollow to reduce weight without sacrificing strength. The T. rex has brown scaly skin with a lot of rough and course feathers on the top of it's head
Sound: The T. rex often does not roar but instead has a lower frequency bellow or growl similar to a crocodile, and even uses hoots and coos like birds to communicate as well. Their growl can be felt throughout the human body due to its low frequency.
Behavior: The T. rex is often a social creature as it works with other Tyrannosaurus rex to take down prey. It prefers puncture and pull bites with its teeth to attack. It has a keen sense of smell which it uses to locate prey as well as extremely good vision. They are slow runners but can burst short distances at high speeds.
- #4Compyselective
Keys: Compsognathus, Compy, Compies
Compsognathus (Compy)
Appearance: Compsognathus are extremely small, never exceeding 30 centimeters in height and around a meter in length. Their body is primarily scaly and a musty brown color, with some being striped with black. They are bipedal with long hind legs and longer tails which they use for balance while moving. Their delicate skulls are narrow and long, with tapered snouts. The skull has five pairs of openings, the largest of which is for the eye socket, with the eyes being larger in proportion to the rest of the skull. The lower jaw is slender with small, pointed teeth.
Sound: Due to their small size, Compsognathus communicate in high-pitched squeaks and chirps similar to modern-day birds, as well as hisses and screeches to scare off predators.
Behavior: Compies often form groups and hunt in packs due to their small size and vulnerability. They are lightweight and agile, allowing them to move around and chase their prey efficiently.
Diet: Compies mostly are scavengers with their teeth being made for quickly plucking meat, they can also eat the poop of other animals and digest it easily
- #5Parasaurolophusselective
Keys: Paras, Parasaurolophus
Parasaurolophus (Paras)
Appearance: The Parasaurolophus is a large dinosaur, being an extremely long 9 meters and weighing an astounding 5 tons. It mostly stands on all fours but can also walk on its hind legs. It has a distinct long crest on its head that allows it to communicate and alert others in its groups as they mostly travel in herds.
Behavior: Parasaurolophus usually travel in large groups and herds. They interact and travel with other dinosaurs such as Ankylosaurus and Triceratops as a means of staying safe. They will use their long crest to send out a large alert to other Parasaurolophus in the area, as they have very good hearing. To humans, they are quite shy and often run away when approached.
Diet: They are herbivores and mostly eat from trees by standing up on their hind legs to tear at leaves, as well as fruits and berries.
Sound: Parasaurolophus make gentle low bleating sounds when moving around and communicating with each other. When they are in danger or need to send an alert to even the farthest Parasaurolophus, they use their crested horn to make a low-frequency vibration that can be heard from far away.
- #6Stegosaurusselective
Keys: Stegosaurus, Steggy, stegos
Stegosaurus
Appearance: Stegosaurus were extremely long at 9 meters (30 feet) and 4 meters (13 feet) tall, with a large body weighing up to 5 tons. On its body, it has large spiky plates going down its back. These plates serve multiple purposes: acting as armor against predators, as a "solar panel" to absorb heat from the sun to regulate body temperature, and as ornamental features to show off and attract mates. At the end of its tail, it also had a bony spiked sharp tail used against predators.
Behavior: Stegosaurus were not particularly intelligent creatures and acted similar to modern herbivores most of the time, moving in slow small herds. Their brains were among the smallest of any dinosaur relative to body size. They act and move slowly most of the time, doing nothing but eating and walking around. When threatened by a predator, they wildly swing their tails and move to protect themselves and younger offspring.
Sound: Stegosaurus often called out in a loud mooing-type call to other Stegosaurus. They moved in small packs but sometimes wandered off alone.
Diet: Like other herbivores, the Stegosaurus ate plants, leaves, and berries it could reach. It also ingested small rocks as gastroliths to grind up food in its body and make it easier to digest.
- #7Microceratusselective
Keys: Microceratus
Microceratus
Appearance: Microceratus are extremely small dinosaurs similar in appearance to Triceratops with a frilled head, tiny horns, and a sharp beak. They are extremely small at 60 cm (2 ft) long and weigh approximately 3 kg. They also had long feathers on the end of their body just before the tail.
Behavior: Microceratus often stayed in trees and slept during the day to avoid predators. At night, they'd use their hind legs to jump from tree to tree to get food. It is a peaceful creature and almost never needs to defend itself.
Sound: Microceratus communicated in coos and cries, often high-pitched to talk or warn of danger.
- #8Majungasaurusselective
Keys: Majungasaurus
Majungasaurus
Appearance: Majungasaurus is a medium-sized theropod standing at 8 meters in length and weighing 1100 kilograms or more. It has a short snout and long tail to balance out its head. Its arms were short and stocky, and the dinosaur possesses a thick rough texture on its head and a single short horn on top.
Behavior: The Majungasaurus was a social creature that roamed in small groups of 3-8. Majungasaurus were fiercely competitive creatures and often actively hunted other Majungasaurus from other packs, and even ate their own young if necessary. It was a relatively slow creature, with estimated running speeds of up to 30-35 km/h (19-22 mph), but had an immensely powerful bite.
Sound: The Majungasaurus often communicated in low-frequency short grumbles, using it to communicate with other Majungasaurus as well as to intimidate other creatures.
Diet: Carnivorous, mostly any animal it could find, including other Majungasaurus.
- #9Becklespinaxselective
Keys: Becklespinax
Becklespinax
Appearance: The Becklespinax is a large theropod that is around 9 meters (30 feet) long and weighed an immense 3 tons. Its skull is long and slender with a wide mouth. Its teeth are sharp and long. It also had a distinct long sail going along its back. Its legs were long and powerful, made for running. Its most striking feature is its blue coloration with muddy red spots on its body, probably used to attract mates.
Behavior: The Becklespinax mostly stays near shallow water as it likes to feed on fishes, but it will also sometimes hunt other dinosaurs and humans. It can run extremely fast for a long amount of time thanks to its legs. Its teeth are made to grip onto an animal and slowly tear chunks of flesh off them.
Sound: The Becklespinax communicated in loud high-pitched cries, often squawking and squeaking to communicate to others, similar to a loon.
- #10Apatosaurusselective
Keys: Apatosaurus
Apatosaurus
Appearance: The Apatosaurus is a large, long-necked quadrupedal dinosaur with an extremely long whip-like tail. It reaches around 30 meters in length and weighs a massive 25 tons. Its jaws are lined with chisel-like teeth to better chew through plants. Its skin is a pale grey color.
Behavior: The Apatosaurus is an extremely social animal and travels with other dinosaurs like Triceratops and Parasaurolophus. It is often hunted by animals like the T. rex, and young Apatosaurus are often harassed by Majungasaurus and Becklespinax, since their large body makes them a difficult but rewarding kill as it would feed a dinosaur for days. When attacked, the older ones often surround younger Apatosaurus and whip their tails at attackers to try and knock them to the ground. Once down, they'd attempt to stomp them.
Sound: The Apatosaurus often made low grumbling sounds but transitioned to a loud echoing call when in danger.
Diet: Tall hanging leaves, fruits, and berries.
