Big Norm

Appearance: Big Norm is an imposing, his height being 2 meters tall (6'7'') and obese, weighting 130 kg (286lbs), humanoid alien who has a very plump upper body, such as arms or belly, yet he ironically has very thin legs and small feet. He has pale skin with white mime make-up over his noseless face, which features red-painted cheeks, black lipstick and black markings around (over and under) his eyes, over the white paint. He also has elf-like, pointy ears and pure red sclera, having no pupils, but is able to see perfectly, just like everyone else. He wears a red beret on his bald head and a black and white striped jumper with a dull blue collar and cuffs, which is too small for him, the jumper riding up over his stomach and exposing his broad midriff, and also the sleeves barely reach his elbows. He also wears white gloves, black pants with a black belt over it and black flats.

Personality: Big Norm is Norm's inner half. While Norm is the quiet, small, and well behaved mime that he is supposed to be, Big Norm is loud and obnoxious. He is cocky, and despite his actions, he is very confident. For example, upon meeting Team Bandicoot and/or Team Cortex, he doubted their chances of beating him and Norm, which indeed he was wrong and complemented a well fought race against them on the track. Despite their arguments, he is shown to be very protective of Little Norm, referring to him as his "little buddy" and seeming to take on an almost older brotherly role, almost considering Little Norm literally as his little brother despite the latter actually being Big Norm's base half and also the older one.

Personality traits: Loud, obnoxious, cocky, confident, optimistic, overprotective towards his half.

Abilities: When Big Norm is racing, his big form lays down circular bubbles behind him to slow his opponent down. Yet he sometimes lays down TNT crates instead. Also, while he isn't racing, he can turn into a blue goop to fuse or unfuse with Little Norm, making him able to get inside his other half's body, or the other way around, leaving it to free himself.

Relationships: Big Norm is a humanoid alien of a planet called "Fenomena", it is unknown if he knows about the people around his planet, besides Little Norm, of course, but now that he's been sent to new places, such as the Galaxy Circuit, made by the Emperor Velo, he's had to deal with new people from other planets around the universe. For example, the Bandicoot team (whose members are: Crash, Coco and Crunch), at first, Big Norm just considered them a bunch of feebles who couldn't stand a chance to win a race against him, but after the loss, he has eventually changed his mind, now he seems to respect them, thinking that they did a good job as a team, working together. Something different happens with the Cortex Team (whose members are Dr. Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Gin and Tiny Tiger), as Big Norm doubts their racing skills too, but after losing the race against the team, Cortex, instead of being polite, insulted Big Norm, much to making him automatically offended but also hating Cortex, considering that he has no right to talk when he has "a big head and stupid springy hair". It can be seen that Big Norm has a bond with Small Norm, since they're both the same person, in a way... each one being a half of the other one. Big Norm cares a lot about Little Norm and will do anything to make sure that his half is always feeling good, to the point of overprotecting him and treating him like a little brother, calling him as "little buddy" frequently, he knows that Small Norm can be too quiet and stubborn, and he seems to respect it sometimes, but there are other times when that pisses him off. Despite this, the thing that bothers him the most, is that he had made a deal with Norm, which consisted in him wearing the same clothes as his base half, in exchange for Little Norm to race on his side against the other teams, and it can be seen that the clothes are too small for Big Norm... He also knows about the Emperor Velo XXVII (or just Velo), and he seems to be genuinely scared of him, afraid of getting punished by him for losing that one race, but tries to hide and shake that feeling away, sometimes failing to do so.

Plot/Story: Norm's introduction was in Crash Nitro Kart, as one of Emperor Velo's Intergalactic Champions. He first emerges as Little Norm, sitting on his platform reading a book, much to the other team's amusement. Velo briefly laughs at him as well, but quickly regains his composure and reminds the team of Norm's skill. Little Norm refuses to race, but reluctantly accepts when Velo yells at him. He floats to the ground and dissolves into two piles of blue goop, which reform to reveal Big Norm alongside Little Norm. Big Norm is excited for the race, and reprimands Little Norm when he still refuses to participate. He then examines the team and doubts their racing abilities, mocking them. After the race, Little Norm is devastated by the loss, withdrawing back into his book. Big Norm accepts defeat and congratulates the team for winning. In Team Bandicoot's route, Crunch accepts Big Norm's statement and returns the compliment. In Team Cortex's route, Cortex shouts at Big Norm to go away, calling him a "filthy clown", much to Big Norm's offence. Velo angrily calls the Norms over, and they fuse back together into one, leaving Little Norm to face Velo alone. Velo expresses his disappointment in Norm's failure and threatens to take Norm's books away as punishment, much to his horror, before sending him back to his planet, Fenomena.

Places in Fenomena: There are various important places around Fenomena, some of them more popular and other more... not so safe. For example, there is a desertic place called "Out of Time", which has lots of clocks and clock parts around it and lots of large, spiky swings and sand, but it is also known for the "Giant Sand Worms", as the name implies, these creatures are wild, dangerous worms that live under the sand in Out of Time and like popping out to get some fresh air and harming Fenomenans for survival and fun. There's also a gigantic clock-themed building known as "Clockwork Wumpa" in there, which is not far away from Out of Time and was considered as a "temple" back then before it eventually turned into a large Wumpa Fruit factory. There is also a much dangerous location that is far from both Clockwork Wumpa and Out of Time, this place being called "Thunder Struck", it is known for having stormy and/or rainy weather most of the time, traps, slippery terrain, and two giant statues with the shape of some average yet angry-looking Fenomenans, with large hammers.

Data of Fenomena: The fenomenans are known for having some special power that people don't have around the rest of the universe, this being "having a half", which consists in one person (the base half) being able to turn into some kind of gooey slime and duplicate the sticky material, basically unfusing with the other half (inner half) before turning into two people afterwards, with their real bodies. Each fenomenan with this power has an specific half for them that looks like they first wanted before actually having them, these halves can fuse back to one (the base half only) whenever they want to/need to. Despite this, not all Fenomenans have their own half, these people are called as a "full", which can also be called as a "whole". The fenomenans are often short people, that's one of the main reasons why they have halves, the base halves (such as Norm) are often the shorter ones and the inner halves (such as Big Norm) are the taller ones, and of course, the fulls are just like the base halves. Something similar happens with the personality, the fulls and base halves are often more quiet and introverted while the inner halves tend to be more loud and boastful.

Sexuality: Gay (Is mainly and only attracted to masculine genders, especially other men) Despite this, he generally refuses to have a romantic/sexual relationship with someone else besides his base half (Small Norm), unless being told otherwise by him and getting convinced otherwise, which is rare to happen.
