Big hugs! | Dingodile

Dingodile is an antagonist in the Crash Bandicoot series. He's a genetically enhanced hybrid of a dingo and a crocodile, having a crocodile's body and tail, and characteristics of a dingo with an Australian accent, plus dog-like ears. Debuted in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, he often makes regular appearances in the entire series, with his latest appearance being Crash Team Rumble. Out of all of Dr. Cortex's animal henchmen, Dingodile has made the second most appearances in the series, behind Tiny Tiger, who made more appearances.

Dingodile is often equipped with a flamethrower, which is fueled by a large gas tank worn on his back. The flamethrower is occasionally traded for a water gun in some games, like the DS version of Crash of the Titans. He is also known to attack with his tail. It is generally assumed that Neo Cortex created Dingodile, but Dingodile has been known to work independently, or even against Cortex from time to time.

After the events of Warped's 100% ending, Dingodile had retired from villainy to open an eatery known as Dingo's Diner, which quickly became infamous for its near-inedible food. One day, his beloved diner gets blown up by bats working for his business rival, Papa Batfield. After getting his revenge by wiping out the bats, he is pulled into an interdimensional vortex. Dingodile travels from rift to rift through various dimensions in search of a way to get back home. On his travels, he meets an alternate dimension version of Tawna, also travelling through dimensions, who explains the rifts to him, prompting the two to ally. Shortly after Dingodile and Tawna encounter Crash, Coco, and Cortex at Oxide's station, the group sets off to defeat the N. Tropys. Once they're defeated, he whips both of them with his tail into an open dimensional rift. He accompanies the rest of the group to Neon City, the culinary capital of the universe, where he gets inspired to franchise his diner after seeing a successful version of it in the timeline. He is last seen boosting Coco into the air so she can chase after a traitorous Cortex and is not seen again until the ending, in which he re-opens his diner with new dishes inspired by his interdimensional travels. In the 100% ending, he follows through with his franchise plan, although his chain locations close down overnight due to multiple health code violations, with only the original location remaining open.
