2. #2Monster Rank

   Keys: Rank

The Monster ranks determine their danger, strenght and the amount of skills they hold. The skills a monsters holds is determined with three skills for each rank, or [3x(Rank) = skills number]

Rank 1: (XP: 1 to 5 pts) the less dangerous of the monsters. Poses little to no danger to a prepared individual or group. These monsters are weak, often relying on numbers or minor attacks which damage is minor, akin to small cuts, bruises, or slight burns. They can be dispatched by an average person with basic tools or minimal combat training. Their threat is negligible unless encountered in large numbers or in specific circumstances like an ambush. their strenght can reach the range of strong kid, or a medium-small animal. they include goblins and dogs

Rank 2: (XP: 10 to 20 pts) These monsters are dangerous to individuals but can be overcome by skilled hunters or groups with weapons. Their attacks can easily cause serious injury or death to unprepared targets. Equivalent to a powerful predator like a lion or a bear

Rank 3: (XP: 45 to 60 pts) These monsters have strenght outside the realm of natural creatures, with abilities or durability akin to a combat-modified vehicle, surpassing natural animals but remains grounded in semi-realistic limits. To defeat them is needed a well prepared team or an experienced and renowed fighter if faced alone. These monsters are considered the main objective of most parties, being thought as the divide between newbies and real profesionals. Some of the monsters in this rank include golems, wyverns and minotaurs.

Rank 4: (XP: 125 to 175 pts) Capable of overwhelming a well-armed group, slightly stronger than a modern tank. They can decimate a squad of trained soldiers or adventurers unless countered with advanced tactics, heavy weaponry, or specialized magic. Their presence demands significant resources or the involvement of elite parties to neutralize, and defeating them will earn prestige for a party. Here are adult dragons, greater demons and war machines.

Rank 5: (XP: 500 to 750 pts) Considered catastrophic beings. Capable of destroying a city or large military forces i9f they are not faced with an apropiate kind of strength, with a threat of firepower akin to a strategic bomber. These are apocalyptic threats with devastating abilities, such as city-leveling firestorms, reality-warping magic, or near-invulnerability. They require large-scale military intervention or catastrophic sacrifices to defeat, only the strongest of people are able to face them on equal grounds. 13. #13Chimeras

Chimeras are monstrous hybrids formed by the chaotic fusion of multiple races, blending traits from beasts, demons, spirits, or other entities into a single, unpredictable form. They inhabit unstable regions such as arcane wastelands, cursed jungles, or planar rifts where magical or chaotic energies converge. Each chimera is unique, incorporating traits from different races as it grows in power, with abilities that reflect their amalgamated nature. Their chaotic physiology makes them versatile but erratic, posing significant threats to those unprepared for their diverse capabilities. As per your instruction, chimeras start at Rank 2 due to their inherent complexity and have no sub-species, instead gaining traits from one additional race per rank.Chimera Progression:Rank 2 Chimera Rank: 2 Sizes: 2–4 meters (6.5–13 feet), often a blend of two races Groups: Solitary Habitat: Enchanted forests, cursed plains, or minor planar rifts Skills: Body strengthening, hybrid traits (e.g., beast claws, demonic fire), heightened senses, minor regeneration Incorporated Race: Beast (e.g., Shadowpaw or Moonhowler traits) Description: At Rank 2, chimeras are chaotic blends of two races, typically combining a beastly form (e.g., feline agility or canine jaws) with another race’s traits, such as demonic fire or basic magical abilities. Their power matches large predators like lions, with enhanced physicality and one supernatural trait (e.g., fiery claws or shadow stealth). They are unpredictable but manageable by skilled groups, though their dual nature makes them harder to counter than natural creatures.

A chimera might combine beastly strength, demonic flames, and wisp-like elusiveness, allowing it to phase through attacks or disorient foes. Their chaotic nature makes them difficult to predict, requiring specialized tactics or magic to defeat.

A chimera might have a beastly body, spirit intangibility, demonic fire, and mecha laser cannons, making it a nightmarish foe. Their versatility and resilience require heavy firepower or arcane countermeasures to overcome.

Rank 5 Chimera Rank: 5 Sizes: Massive, 15–30 meters (50–100 feet), incorporating a fifth race Groups: Solitary Habitat: Apocalyptic rifts, primal chaos zones, or shattered planes Skills: Reality manipulation, regeneration, hybrid traits (e.g., beast agility, spirit intangibility, demonic fire, mecha weaponry, celestial light), psychic domination, multi-elemental mastery, summon lesser hybrids Incorporated Race: Celestial (e.g., Seraphim or Ophanim traits) Description: At Rank 5, chimeras are apocalyptic abominations, blending traits from beasts, spirits, demons, mecha, and celestials, with power rivaling a strategic bomber.
