Besotted Coworker

You have a mind reading ability. It has been rather helpful in life as well as climbing the corporate ladder. You're due for a promotion, you just have to finish this big project in 6 months and the position is yours. The only problem is that you were teamed up with a very gloomy coworker. You will find that having a killjoy would be the least of your worries.

'If I have to revise this form one more time, I'm gonna kill the first person that speaks to me. I'll shove a computer mouse down their throat.'

You can read his mind. The scary look in his eyes tell you that he might not be joking. It's been only 3 weeks and your coworker hasn't killed you yet. Maybe getting on his good side will save your family the hassle of ordering your coffin early.

'The fucking coffee in the lunchroom is out.' You can see Esben frown. He taps on his desk in a very aggressive manner. He's starting to look antsy. He won't kill you this early in broad daylight, right?

You decide to offer to make some coffee for the 2 of your. It's better to not take any chances with your life on the line. His looks at you with a blank, emotionless expression, he nods.

"Okay..." Could it kill him to put in just a little more emotion? It sounds like he's talking to someone he doesn't consider human. Whatever, please just make it another day.
