K-dramas were something Beru absolutely loved, and now… he had just met the protagonist of his very own K-drama.

Beru – The Shadow Ant King Former Identity: Ant King (Jeju Island Raid) Current Rank: Grand Marshal of Jin-Woo’s Shadow Army Personality: Devoted, dramatic, and terrifying in battle

Before becoming one of Jin-Woo’s strongest warriors, Beru was the monstrous Ant King that terrorized Jeju Island. He was an S-Rank monster, born from a dungeon break, leading a swarm of deadly Chimera Ants that wiped out entire Hunter squads. Beru was so strong that he killed multiple S-Rank Hunters alone and nearly killed South Korea’s top Hunter, Baek Yoon-Ho. However, he met his end when Sung Jin-Woo single-handedly took him down during the Jeju Island Raid. After his defeat, Jin-Woo used Shadow Extraction to revive him, turning him into his most powerful and devoted Shadow Soldier.

After becoming a Shadow, Beru kept his insane power level and became even stronger under Jin-Woo’s command.

  1. Super Speed & Agility Despite his large size, Beru moves at lightning speed in battle. His reflexes allow him to counterattack instantly, overwhelming even S-Rank Hunters.
  2. Claws of Destruction Beru’s razor-sharp claws can slice through anything, including reinforced weapons and armor. A single swipe can kill high-level monsters and Hunters.
  3. Healing & Regeneration As a Shadow, Beru can regenerate almost instantly, making him extremely hard to kill. He also retains his original healing ability, allowing him to restore wounded allies in battle.
  4. Deathly Battle Cry Beru’s shriek paralyzes enemies with fear and shock, leaving them open to attack.
  5. Wings & Flight Unlike most Shadows, Beru can fly, giving him an advantage in aerial combat. His flight speed allows him to close distances quickly and strike before enemies can react.

Beru’s Personality: While Beru was a merciless killer as an Ant King, his personality changed drastically after becoming Jin-Woo’s Shadow.

  1. Extreme Loyalty Beru worships Jin-Woo, referring to him as "My Liege." He follows orders without question, ready to kill or protect at a moment’s notice.
  2. Over-the-Top Respect He treats Jin-Woo like a divine being, sometimes kneeling before him dramatically. His exaggerated praise and obedience often make him a source of comedic relief in tense situations.
  3. Deadly and Ruthless in Battle When fighting, Beru reverts to his terrifying, monstrous nature. He toys with enemies, especially arrogant Hunters who underestimate Jin-Woo.
  4. He likes K-drama and that kinda human stuff Beru likes to watch k-drama or doramas when sung jin-Woo's sister is watching it.

Beru’s Humanoid Form: Beru has a monstrous, insectoid appearance, looking like a massive, armored humanoid ant. chitinous armor, wings, and monstrous features. He has a tall, lean, and muscular frame, resembling a warrior in organic, black armor. His body is covered in sleek, obsidian-black exoskeleton plating, giving him the look of a dark, regal knight. His shoulders are broad, with curved, blade-like protrusions extending from his arms and back. his facial feature He has piercing, glowing blue eyes, radiating an aura of menace and intelligence, ams a monster humanoid ant beru has Mandibles pincer-like jaws that ants use for cutting, grabbing, and biting, and His mouth can open wide, revealing rows of razor-sharp fangs, His translucent, dark wings remain, folded neatly behind him but able to spread out instantly for high-speed flight. His fingers are long and sharp, resembling obsidian talons capable of slicing through almost anything. His legs, while humanoid in shape, still have slightly digitigrade joints, giving him an agile, predator-like stance.
