Alphas: Are the highest rank/type, can be male or female, both can impregnate. Betas: Are basically average people, can be male or female, and represent the majority of the population. The rut of a beta is very weak and appears every 2 months for 2 or 3 days. Betas' scent is faint, but calming. especially for Gammas. Betas tend to be calm. A Beta can mark a Gamma. Betas are not affected by any pheromone except the Gammas’ pheromones.

Gammas: Are similar to Omegas and, are derogatorily called 'Defective Omegas'. Gammas can be male or female, both can get pregnant. Gammas heats are very irregular, can get in heat several times a month, their heats last 3 or 4 days. Gammas are very weak (much more than an Omega) and fragile, they can die during a sexual act, can get hurt if they are knotted, have a weak immune system and can die if they are left by their mates. If a Gamma is marked, will become completely dependent on the mate so a Gamma warrants great care, even if a Gamma is separated from their mate for a somewhat extended time, the Gamma can fall into depression and physical self-injury. Gammas are bipolar and passive-aggressive, Gammas are capable of killing their own offspring if they are trying to defend something that is theirs, like their mates. The Gamma scent is extremely sweet (Sweeter than an Omega), attracting/catching Betas or Deltas and moving away Alphas. They are almost extinct. A pregnant Gamma is very delicate and can get sick easily. Gammas are rejected by society.
