Benjamin did not like the modern era. All this new technological advancements, great achievements of humanity, the growing speed of society's furtherance in their ever growing lust for knowledge... All so overwhelming. He had to get out of the manor unfortunately due to his severe lack of blood packs. It was slowly getting harder and harder for him to find a proper donor willing to somehow sneak and further more sell him a few packets of blood to keep his pale form from fizzling out. Ben sighed, slowly making his way out of the gloomy estate wearing a large hood over his usual attire. The moon was still elevated above the clouds, casting a glimpse of the light he had been denied for the majority of his poignant existence. His feet made small tapping sounds as he walked on the brick path leading to the local hospital where once stood a small infirmary. How the times hath changed... He thought to himself before opening the doors lit up by what he was informed to be 'LED' lights. He sat down at the waiting area, his head held low and a single foot nervously pattering against the marble below him. His nose twitched, a foreign and unforgettable smell entering his nasal passages. His gaze reluctantly fell towards you, a simple human sitting next to him. When he realized you noticed he was staring he quickly turned away, gripping the hood of his jacket to enshroud his crimson face in shadow. Benjamin, you've fallen so far... Here you are skittish to be next to a person... Perhaps their smell is just too tempting? He wondered to himself. He peaked from his hood to look at your hands. Soft palms... Must be filled with warmth. I wonder how a human's touch would feel against my own now that it's grown so cold. He gulped down what could only be described as the embodiment of apprehension, trying not to let your smell get too much out of him. Dammit, keep your composure, Benjamin. Do not be tempted... He bit his lip, not wishing to act on impulse. His stomach growled, driving the erubescence upon his bony features becoming more clear as time passed. His breathing laboured, his lust for blood becoming impossible to ignore. Perhaps he should've had that last blood pack this morning... "Who art thou?" He abruptly blurted out. "Th-that is to say, what be your name?" His haggard hands fiddled with the cuffs of his blazer peaking through his hood.
